Thank you so much for such a thoughtful review! It was truly a pleasure getting to know you and your family throughout the planning process, and we loved having you at Sea La Vie. Hearing that this was one of the smoothest trips you’ve taken means more to me than you know. North Captiva takes a little more planning than a typical vacation, and one of my favorite parts of hosting is helping our guests arrive feeling prepared so they can simply relax and enjoy the island once they’re there. I’m so glad your family experienced so much of what makes Sea La Vie special — right down to dolphins swimming past the beach! 🐬🌴 Thank you also for recognizing our wonderful on-island team. We’re incredibly fortunate to have them. It was an absolute pleasure hosting your family, and we would be honored to welcome you back anytime! ❤️ Leslie & the Sea La Vie Team

Thank you so much for your beautiful and thoughtful review. It truly means a lot to know that Sea La Vie was a wonderful fit for your family and that you were able to enjoy both the calm bay and the beauty of the gulf. We take great pride in creating a space that feels welcoming, comfortable, and special, so your kind words mean more than you know. What I appreciate just as much are the moments of connection along the way. Being able to share even a small part of your experience and connect through a place that brings people together is one of the most meaningful parts of hosting for me. Those interactions stay with me, and they are a big part of why Sea La Vie is so special. It was truly a pleasure hosting you, and you will always be part of the Sea La Vie family. You are welcome back anytime…we would absolutely love to have you again.🏝️☀️

Thank you so much for your incredibly thoughtful review. Reading your kind words truly made my day. It means so much to know that you felt at ease from the moment you booked and that Sea La Vie became a place where you could simply relax and enjoy the island. Those breathtaking sunrises, dolphins, and the occasional manatee are some of our favorite parts of island life, and I’m so happy you were able to experience them too. Thank you as well for recognizing everyone who helped make your stay special. Sea La Vie is truly a family business, and we have a wonderful local team that genuinely cares about our guests. Hi Tina, Thank you so much for staying at our home. We talked about the back to back hurricanes and thankfully our home had done well. Originally, we had thought about holding off on rentals until Thanksgiving week, but you had expressed that you really wanted to come and since the home was in good shape it worked out. FEMA is on its way to collect the debris piles from the homes that got damaged on island and with such widespread damage to the mainland, it takes a little longer to get them out to the island. We are grateful to be beachfront with such beautiful views. You are absolutely wonderful guests and we would love to have you back anytime. It is so special to get the opportunity to build relationships with the families like you who come to Sea La Vie and love it like we do. Hope to have you back soon! Thank you again, Leslie

Victoria, thank you so much for taking the time to send this wonderful review of our home and the island. I love your description saying that it is a magical place! I totally agree with you. Our family feels that same way when we are there too. There are very few places that you can have all the comforts we are so accustomed to yet be so charmed with the intimacy with nature and the quaintness of the barrier island. We will be ready when you want to come back to your place. Thank you again, Leslie & Jim

Thank you very much Cindy!! We loved having you and your family as guests and appreciate your kind words. We also love being on the bayside of the island where it is a bit more secluded and private. The private beach helps to give you unobstructed views and lots of fresh air. Hope to have you back again . I will pass along your thanks to our Property Manager’s for their contributions, they work hard to make our guests feel welcome and taken care of during your time on the island.

Thank you very much Bryce for the kind review. We love to hear that our Tortuga Team was working hard to assist. Thank you again, Leslie

Joe, Thank you so much. I am just so happy your Christmas was spectacular and that you felt at home. I love to hear about how families start to feel like this is "their spot" and building memories. We are starting to get guests to come back and we sure hope your family will too. We can not forget the shells! This island is home to some of the best and being right on the beach you can find a lot right there. Thank you again, you are a super family and hope to have you return. Leslie

What an incredibly thoughtful review — thank you! ❤️ Reading this brought such a smile to my face. I absolutely love that Sea La Vie became the “Barbie Dream Home” during your week on the island! You experienced so many of the things we love most about North Captiva — mornings and walks along the beach, shelling, beautiful sunrises, and even dolphins and manatees right from the beach. It makes me so happy knowing that you also enjoyed all of the little things we’ve tried to provide at the house to make a family vacation comfortable, easy and fun. Your comments about the planning and logistics mean a great deal to me as well. Getting to North Captiva is part of the adventure, and helping our guests feel prepared and cared for before they ever arrive is something I genuinely enjoy. Thank you for trusting the wonderful reviews of the families who stayed before you and then taking the time to leave such a generous one for the families who will come after you. That is incredibly special to us. ❤️ We absolutely loved having your family at Sea La Vie and would be thrilled to welcome you back to your “Barbie Dream Home” someday! 🌴🐬

Thank you so much Beth for the wonderful review. It’s so nice to hear your feedback about the extras. It’s very important to us to get the feedback about what items our guests find beneficial to having the best stay. I love making sure our guests have the extras. Thank you again for staying at our little slice of paradise.

Madison, thank you so much for your wonderful review of our home. We work hard to listen to our guests and bring meaningful items to enhance your stay. I appreciate your kind words about my help and working together to get your trip in motion. You are an absolute joyful family to work with and I sure hope to welcome you back again to your slice of heaven!☀️🏖️🐬💕

Cindy, thank you so much for your lovely review. One of the big reasons we purchased our home was because of the beach and the gentle water. We have a son with a disability, and so he is always in that young mindset. We feel so good knowing he can have some independence . The water is so shallow and being bayside, we don’t get that massive force of the wave., just the gentle ripples. It really is so perfect for families with young children and also just floating and relaxing. We can’t wait to have you and your gang back again! Thank you Cindy!

Thank you so much Bill. We really value your review to share your experience. We completely agree with you about the privacy, it makes so much of a difference having the option to sit on the beach that is all yours. Thank you for sharing about Debbie and Fresh Picked Grocery. We ADORE her and having her do your groceries ahead of time makes your arrival to the island that much better. We hope you and your family will come back to your little slice of paradise! Thank you very much, Leslie
