We are very disappointed with this review. This customer clearly expected everything to be brand new - her friend admitted that wherever she goes she brings her own cutlery, plates, mugs etc. so clearly does not like using anything provided by other people - that's fine but does not mean that our stuff is in any way dirty. It's not new I accept but it is clean. We provide a full range of cleaning products which we leave in the utility area so I have no idea what she felt needed to be cleaned or what she had to buy and she never said anything while she was here. We even asked if everything was OK and she never said a word. The duvet and all the bedding were absolutely covered in blood - no they weren't new but they weren't old either. A replacement duvet costs at leats £35 and a set of bedding a further £20 . The duvet and bedding all went straight in the bin. If they had not checked out the night before, (because she had an early hospital appointment and wanted to check out before 8am) I would have deducted £50 from her deposit which was why I asked her after she left if she would be willing to make a contribution; she never replied. Her friend , when I was checking them out, (the main customer was not available) said everythng was fine and it had been the perfect place to stay for them - this seems very inconsistent. The ramp was built to building regulations at the time and we always state that able bodied people need to be here as well as any wheelchair user as we appreciate it is steep. We apologise for the overgrown shrubs, but again she could have asked us to trim them back and we willingly would have done. We were not aware she was in a wheelchair until she got here!! All in all not a good experience for us or for her. This is only the second time in over 15 years that anyone has felt the need to write a bad review.
