Récemment converti chalet dormir 6 avec une grande piscine intérieure chauffée maintenue autour de 30 degrés et intérieur / extérieur grande terrasse donnant sur la vallée de Rother spectaculaire. Trois chambres, une grande bouble et deux grands jumeaux, dont une en bas. Salon, salle à manger et la cuisine, plus utilitaire. Pelouse, plus jardin clos et l'accès à un champ. Il dispose du WiFi et est à 200m de la paisible village de Burwash Weald avec son pub local, à 10 miles de la côte du Sussex et à 3 miles de Batemans.

If you want a private stay in a quite beautiful cottage, this is the perfect place! Very clean, organised and the pool was amazing! Will definitely be back!

Third visit

Our third visit to this holiday cottage. A great house in a great location. We did have a problem with the hot water but the housekeeper responded immediately and told us how to restart the boiler over the phone, and it was all resolved within about 10 minutes. Thanks for another great break away.

Info about steps and floorplan would have been helpful, given we had an elderly, blind relative with us. There was no basic information about the house, where pool key, whether to cover the pool, when to put bins/recycling out for collection. We were very grateful for the towels provided and the pool was great.

There's a pool!

The house is lovely and clean and has everything you need, but the pool is just amazing! It's through a door in the sitting room that looks like it's a cupboard or something - it's like finding Narnia! We had a wonderful time. There are plenty of things to do locally (if you do get out of the pool), and Helen was really helpful. We would highly recommend it.

All good, would be nice if the underwater lights worked for a relaxing ambience. Nice to see new carpets and a lick of paint. And as usual the housekeeper Helen was always accommodating and nothing was a problem for her.Thanks Again Helen.

Absolutely amazing!!

My family have just got back from our stay (in December). Can't wait to go back. This house is stunning! Large historical converted property, with some original features still visible adding to the overall charm. All bedrooms are spacious & lovely with their own bonus features, the master bedroom is especially beautiful. Big, lovely living room. Home is very clean & tidy. Lots of storage. Radios, TVs, games, books etc. The kitchen had every utensil etc you could ever need. There is also a utilities room and downstairs toilet. One of the stunning bedrooms is downstairs, making it more accessible too for anyone who needs it. The property & garden are much bigger than can be portrayed in photos. Lovely large outdoor space, views of nature as far as the eye can see. Brilliant facilities. I saved the best for last - the pool!! We were blown away by how great it was! The pool itself is warm, very large, extremely clean, has a deep end, and a skylight above the pool. I loved the style & ambience of the pool room, the room is very large, warm, with lots of seating areas, heated towel rails, towels, a toilet & shower room and glass doors that lead out onto the decking & huge garden area. I spent most of my time in the pool. Lovely pub serving great food short walk away. The price is great too, the value for money is brilliant. Booking was swift & easy. Special shout out to Helen the Co host!! Who made our stay great with all of her help & extra treatshe thoughtfully added for us!

Needs updating

Pool Lovely but some facilities poor. Very uncomfortable upstairs single mattresses and lounge chair. Towels and bathmat threadbare. No cereal bowls and chipped and mismatched crockery.

Stay in the Sussex countryside

Beautiful place to retreat to from the City to enjoy the countryside. Views from the terrace across the gardens and rolling Sussex hillsides is spectacular during autumn. Heated indoor pool an added bonus. Will look forward to our next stay.

A lovely place to get away

We hired the venue for the weekend to celebrate my wife's 60th. The pool area was a great focal point and wet-weather option and the view across the High Weald is stunning. The area has walks and pub lunches all on hand. Helen couldn't have been more helpful and was always available to help with any questions. We were always in safe hands. Thank you Helen, I'm sure we'll be back!

Lovely stay

Booked for the pool and a family catch up. The pool is fantastic but the house is also warm and relaxing. Everything you need for a week stay. The host was easy to contact and efficiently dealt with a query on arrival. We are already looking to book again.
