Luxury 3 bedroom penthouse apartment very near beach

Exclusive luxury air-conditioned duplex atico (penthouse), split over the top two floors (5th plus one) of a smart well maintained apartment complex, just across the road from a sandy beach in Denia. This spacious apartment is set over 1,097 sq ft internal living area and has 4 terraces providing an additional 560 sq ft of external space to relax in. The two-level aticos in this complex are larger than the apartments on the lower levels, which are all single floor.

The apartment comprises 3 double bedrooms (one with ensuite bath/shower), fully fitted kitchen, lounge/diner with seating for 8 people at the extendable dining table. The lounge area includes a new reclining sofa and UHD 4K 43" smart TV. This leads onto the main sun terrace with another dining table for 6 people to dine al fresco, alongside 4 sun loungers. This large sun terrace has two supersized electric awnings and overlooks the attractive communal area, pool and gardens, with mountain views in one direction and sea view in the other.

The main bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and an additional washroom, are all on the lower level, which means two guests will not need to use the internal stairs at all during their stay.

The upper level comprises bedroom #2 (twin beds which can be placed together) and bedroom #3 (full size bunk beds), another large family bathroom, and two small terraces.

The lounge has a Samsung UHD 4K 43" smart TV with free access to Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+ plus Blu-ray/DVD player and ultra fast WiFi (1000Mb/1Gbps).

The large attractive swimming pool has a separated shallow section for toddlers to splash around in. For the adults, there is also a jacuzzi pool adjacent to the swimming pool. The pool is set in beautiful, well maintained gardens, with a childrens play area visible from the pool, and a paddle court to the rear of the complex. The closest sandy beach is just a couple of minutes walk away, and has its own beach bar (in season).

The complex is very secure and has underground car parking for residents/guests.

You will also find high quality ceramic tiles throughout, and equipment for children/babies (inc cot, highchair, steriliser).

Excellent location, close to stylish bars, restaurants and cafes - just 1 minute walk from the beach, 5 minutes from the new marina, and less than 15 minutes walk into the centre of Denia town.

LOCAL DINING
There are many restaurants within walking distance of the apartment, some are located within 2 minutes walk. The town centre has a wide selection of amazing restaurants including tapas bars, pizzerias, steak houses, and the new marina has a number of stylish bars, cafes and restaurants at the far end.

LOCAL SHOPS
A good small supermarket, Troya, is located just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment, heading toward the town centre. The local pharmacy, Farmacia Nautic is virtually adjacent to Troya. Larger supermarkets (Mercadona, Carrefour and Mas y Mas are all similar to Sainsburys or Tesco superstores) are located in the town centre.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Water, safari and theme parks can be found in and around Benidorm which is a 30 minute drive down the coast. The new Marriot Golf & Spa Resort, which adjoins the golf course at La Sella, has a choice of 5 restaurants and a Alanya Spa available to non-residents. For a special evening out, the Benidorm Palace has a spectacular show with dinner, wine and dancing and is reputed to have one of the largest stages in the world. For a more intimate Spanish style dinner/dance flamenco experience, Viva Espana is located 25 mins to the north in Oliva.

TRAVEL
Many airlines, including low-budget airlines like EasyJet and Ryanair fly from Stansted, Luton, and Gatwick to Valencia and Alicante airports. Denia is located in the Costa Blanca, halfway between Valencia and Alicante airports (both approx 90 km / 1 hours drive). A single motorway (AP7) links both airports to Denia, and we have comprehensive map/directions to make sure you find us easily. Having a rental car is not strictly necessary but is of course useful. Alternatively a taxi from the airport is about 140 Euros each way. Once you are at the apartment, you don't really need a car - there are plenty of bars/restaurants within 10 mins walk, and the town centre is just 12-15 mins walk away - but you will find it useful if you wish to drive to some of the other magnificent beaches in the area.

PRICING AND DISCOUNTS
Pricing is highly seasonal. I offer early booking discounts for bookings 4 months or more in advance. The discounts scale up the further in advance you book, starting from 4 months up to 9 months in advance. Occasionally I also offer last minute discounts for bookings in the next 30 days, but you will have to be quick and very lucky to grab one of these in peak season as I am usually fully booked mid June - mid September.

MORE ABOUT DENIA, MARINA and BEACHES
Denia is a beautiful coastal town, with a castle and large marina, lovely sandy beaches and bustling town centre, renowned for its amazing restaurants and bars.

The large marina has different names to distinguish each end of the marina. The southside is called Marina de Denia, and the apartment is just two minutes walk from the entrance to this side of the marina. There are several very nice lounge bars and restaurants along this marina, including Zensa Rooftop Beachclub with its rooftop swimming pool at the far end of the marina.

Going north, next there is Real Club Nautico Denia which also has a gym and inside swimming pool.

The centre of Denia (Marques de Campo) is opposite the middle point of the marina. The town centre is full of great shops, restaurants and bars for you to discover.

Going further north along the seafront you get to Porte de Denia, the Balearia ferry port.

Finally, the northside of the marina is called Marina El Portet de Denia, and this also has a number of nice restaurants and lounge bars, including Lamarserena, a very cool rooftop bar.

The beaches in Denia are situated to the north and south of the marina. So the closest beach to the apartment is on the southside, and is called Playa de la Marineta Casiara. It is just one minute walk from the apartment. It is a nice sandy beach, and gets even better as you walk along the beach away from the marina. About 100m along this beach you will find beach bars and sun loungers to rent (in season).

To the north of the marina, there are long stretches of even wider and even more beautiful beaches to explore. The start of these beaches is about a 30 minute walk from the apartment (6-7 mins in a car).

These gorgeous beaches to the north of Denia, and further afield in places like Javea, are truly stunning, and definitely worth a visit. However most of the time (especially with small children), we preferred the convenience of the local sandy beach just a couple of minutes walk away. Fabulous property in a lovely location

This property was perfect for our family holiday. Gated community very close to the beach and marina with an easy walk into town. The property had everything we needed and the terrace was a lovely space to chill. We all loved the pool area and it was great place to come back to after a day of exploring. The instructions and attention to detail from the host were excellent. Overall a fabulous place to stay

Amazing Condo with Beach across the street

Declan was amazing and helped us through the checkin along with paces to eat in the area. There is a small market and pharmacy a block away that will have what you need. The large grocery store is just minutes by car or a short 15-20 min walk. The master bedroom is perfect on the ground floor so no stairs. There are 2 other bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs as well along with a terrace for each side of the property. Kitchen has a large fridge and everything you need. The massage terrace off the living room was amazing. Plenty of space for a large family. You wont be disappointed if you rent here.

Worked well for family

Location was perfect for us. The apartment was very clean , very well equipped with a great welcome pack and lots of space. The beds and linens could do with an upgrade as they weren't comfortable. The lower star rating is because of the issue with keys. We struggled to manage with one within our group dynamic. We also made a mistake and took the key to post back which we know we shouldn't have. Dealing with property manager was prompt and efficient but less so for the onsite staff.

Well Equipped Apartment

The apartment is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could need. Beach towels, bath towels, all bedding, very well equipped kitchen and plenty of beach toys. The living area is very comfortable with the option of air con if required as it is very hot peak season and very humid. The bedrooms are very nice with good quality beds and the bathrooms are very nice. The large terrace comes with two large electric awnings and a very comfortable dining table and chairs. The terrace is particularly pleasant in the late afternoon and evening when the sun has gone overhead. The complex is very secure with entry com, lockable outside gates and a lift that requires a key to get to the car park which is below the apartment. However we did feel that the apartment was more vulnerable as the main patio doors do not lock nor does the kitchen windows. However at no point did we have any worries and it maybe something the owner has not been made aware of. The pool area is rather lovely, the pool is big enough to swim in as well as play about and there were no objections to small inflatables and balls. Most days at some point we had the pool to ourselves which was a real treat. The grounds are clean and well tended and we also enjoyed a few games of paddle tennis. Declan the owner is very efficient with regards to any queries you may have and the app that is current and up dated is very handy. The only thing we found slightly odd was having to wait in before we went on holiday for the keys, however now having stayed there i can see the complexity of things with the need to access the outside doors on arrival. The town of Denia is very nice, however it was really hot and humid so we didnt even make it to the castle! Instead we spent all our days seeking out beaches and absolutely adored Las Rotas beaches where we went every day to snorkel. Also having the added advantage of having no sand! We also explored Javea, Calpe and on the way to the airport had the Benidorm experience! We enjoyed several meals out but particularly enjoyed Miramare, despite it not having that good reports on Trip Adviser. The main street closes at night to traffic and we enjoyed walking down there around 10ish at night for a frozen yogurt, they were delicious. Many thanks to Declan for renting his apartment.

Die Wohnung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Sie benötigt Pflege, eine Grundreinigung und Instandhaltung (Bidet undicht, GWC lĂ€uft durch, TerrassentĂŒr und Fenster nicht schließbar, Handtuchhalter abgebrochen usw.) Das Bett und das Bad im unteren Beteich ist fĂŒr große Personen nicht geeignet. Die Lage ist aber top. err erreichbar.

We had a great holiday in Declan’s appartement, which certainly lives up to its five-star rating. Thank you to Declan who is very quick to respond to any queries and organized a late check-in for us. Thanks also to his local representative, Hana, who welcomed us for an even later check-in than planned, due to the late arrival of our flight. A very generous welcome pack awaited us and was highly appreciated as the restaurants in the area were no longer serving at midnight. Declan’s appartement is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, perfect for our party of five. We stayed in June, and had the communal pool to ourselves on several occasions. Declan has complied a useful guide with places to visit, recommendations for dining. We would definitely recommend this appartement for a holiday in Denia

Vi bodde i leiligheten i 6 uker, og hadde et flott opphold. Denia er en meget vakker by.

Leiligheten var som avbildet, og utstyrt med alt som vi behÞvde til et lengre opphold. Og en hyggelig overraskelse i kjÞleskapet ved ankomsten. Kontakten med utleier, og informasjonen vi fikk, var ogsÄ svÊrt god. Meget godt fornÞyd.

Het was geweldig

Het huren van dit appartement was in één woord fantastisch. Het contact met de verhuurder was super. Niet alleen vooraf maar ook tijdens ons verblijf. Bij aankomst stonden er heerlijke welkomst hapjes en drankjes voor ons klaar. Het appartement had alles. Een fijn groot zwembad op een perfecte locatie. Op loopafstand van strand, haven en centrum. Het ontbrak ons echt aan niets. De verhuurder stond altijd voor ons klaar en was erg flexibel. Het appartement is een echte aanrader voor iedereen die een fijn verblijf wil hebben in Denia.

Apartamento perfecto muy cerca del centro de Denia

El alojamiento se encontraba en perfectas condiciones, a un paseo del centro de Denia y a 2 minutos de la playa de la Marineta, aunque no es de las mejores. La piscina del complejo es grande y poco concurrida. Las zonas comunes estån muy cuidadas. La interlocución con el propietario, fluida y siempre pendiente de que estuviéramos a gusto.

The check-in process was done personally and extremely informative. Little extra touches like a bottle of wine, milk, and juice, to get us started was highly appreciated. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The short walk to the Denia pier and marina was exactly what we were looking for. Very convenient parking in the underground car park was a bonus.

A comfortable, modern apartment in a good location

The apartment is quiet, very well located and within comfortable walking distance to the the town center and the seafront for a walk. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. Britsh TV, Netflix and fast reliable internet, sun and shade. Communication with Declan was straight forward and he was attentive and responsive. The service balcony, off the kitchen, is large and gets sun in the evening and was a bonus. Denia has lots of good restaurants to enjoy . A car was useful to explore the local area and for major shopping at the Consum and Lidi supermarkets, side by side, 5 minutes drive away. The drive from Alicante airport was easy but Denia is a challenge without SatNav.

Denia Delight

This was a dream property. Large and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen which we loved. Declan is a gracious host who always made himself available for any questions via the web site. Definitely family friendly. Supermarket and restaurants easily accessible. Would revisit and recommend to my friends.

The minute you start the booking process you know that this property owner wants to make you feel welcome. The welcome pack and the wealth of information , maps restaurant recommendations are so welcome. The property deserves the 5 star review , it is very comfortable , excellent decor and furnishings and everything you need a true home from home. The Air con was most welcome. The terraces , of which there are several are all set up to enjoy the views and to eat Al Fresco and to sunbathe if you want to as there are sun loungers and even gravity chairs to relax in. The electric appliances are new , the washing machine , dishwasher , fridge freezer and microwave were easy to use. The owner has thought of everything , there are plugs/adapters and a bluetooth JBL speaker so you can listen to your Spotify /Apple Music. There is Sky TV and includes movies in case you want a chilled night in. The pool area is great and the beach is literally across the road. The complex is very well maintained as are the lifts. There are supermarkets 5 mins away and pharmacy if needed. A short walk away there are restaurants and bars all reasonable and there is a bus stop only 5 minute walk away. We decided to not hire a car so these local shops were convenient, a short drive/cab ride there are large supermarkets including Aldi if you wanted to bulk buy. We will return and I cannot recommend this property and owner highly enough. Thank you we had a great stay , feel relaxed and cant wait to go back !!. Denia is a gem . Thannk you. The Whelans.

There is probably not much more I can add that hasn't already been said! It is a wonderful property and the facilities are all as described. Declan is very responsive to any requests for information. There are plenty of hidden gems in Denia and a walk in either direction along the seaside will unearth these. The new Marina has some fantastic restaurants also, and it was lovely to stroll there in the late evening. We did a few day trips to the mountains and Valencia and I had to return to Benidorm to have a look as it was the place of my first childhood foreign holiday (1976). The underground carpark is secure and keeps the car cool. I will return to Denia in the future and will stay in the same property.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose this property because of its really perfect location. Although it has its own pool, it is also just 2 minutes walk to the beach, 5 mins to the southside of the Marina in Denia, and a short 15 mins walk into town with its fantastic array of restaurants, bars and shops. It even has a chemist and a supermarket within a stones throw should you feel like cooking yourself a treat using all the amazing fresh local ingredients.

Location, location, location!!
Although we like to spend as much time outside when we are there, our guests tell us they find having fast wifi really useful to be able to stay in touch, and they love the fact that they have Fire TV with Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+, BBC iPlayer, and much more, all loaded with channels including movies, sports, and kids channels, just as if you were watching at home!
