Il y a beaucoup de lumière dans cette suite de 2 chambres nouvellement construite! Lits confortables, salle de bain complète, buanderie dans la suite, cuisine entièrement équipée, wifi, télévision par câble et terrasse personnelle avec beaucoup d'espace pour le salon, le barbecue et la vue du lac au glacier. Une sensation légère, moderne et minimaliste! Près de la ville, 15 min en voiture de la station de ski Whitewater, distance de marche du golf, vue sur le lac, lignes de bus, promenade facile au centre-ville. Entrée privée depuis une cour spacieuse.

Nice quiet spot in Nelson

We visited with my son and a friend of his and had a lovely time. The space was clean and nicely decorated and located in a quiet residential neighbourhood with a pretty view of the lake and mountains out back. Thanks for an easy stay!

Rosemont is pretty

A beautiful spot with great amenities. Views of the lake & easy to get to all places in Nelson. We would return to this spot.

Nelson Stay

The suite is exactly as advertised, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The outdoor deck and BBQ were an added bonus. Highly recommended accommodation in Nelson!

Lovely apartment in Nelson.

This little gem was perfect for our stay in Nelson. The unit was impeccable with a very well equipped kitchen. We appreciated the basket of tasty treats:) Beds were extremely comfortable and nice tub to soak in!

Nelson get away

Arrived after dark and had a little trouble finding the house with Google Maps. Lighting was not turned on so we needed flash lights to enter the door code. The unit was very clean and comfortable.

Cute cozy little basement suite

This place was perfect for my trip to Nelson with my mom and our dogs. Newly renovated, clean, cozy and private, it was everything we hoped for. We had access to the beautiful green back yard. There is a little market conveniently just down the street and the drive into town is only a few minutes. The host was lovely and very accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Great suite

The suite was exactly as advertised and cool enough to provide much needed break from the heat. Bedrooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Located in a quiet residential area it was a very short drive into town. If you want to be in walking distance to the beaches etc. this is not the location for you. A couple of dining tips... Gina's Gelato is amazing and if you are looking for a great burger (both "real" and veggie) you gotta try Rel-ish.

Family trip to Nelson!

This property was very accommodating. I brought my 2 kids out to Nelson for a few days. This property had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is clean and modern and located close to Baker street. I highly recommend!

Nice place to stay

The apartment was very well stocked except when we went to use the barbeque there was no propane tank. The only complaint we had were the stairs. They are dangerous. Otherwise it was a great place to spend the week.

Weekend wedding in the mountain.

We had a busy and very enjoyable weekend stay at the Rosemont suite retreat. Our host Jacqueline was very welcoming, pleasant and easy to contact with quick responses. I brought my dog and was very pleased with how easy a transition it was for her. She is a rescue and this was our first time traveling to a new place. Jacqueline and her family are very dog friendly and dog welcoming, thank you. The suite was clean, nice and welcoming. We enjoyed the sweat treats and popcorn. Jacqueline, thanks for the tip on the little trail Kahlua really enjoyed exploring it. We will definitely be visiting again sometime.

Lovely view

Nice place, however, if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. This is a basement suite and the access is on an incline with stairs and a sidewalk which is rather uneven. In the owner’s defence, the front yard is under construction so the sidewalk issue may be rectified in future. The suite itself is lovely, well equipped and very quiet. It is a bit small for 4 adults, but workable. Nice views of lake from back yard. Patio table and BBQ is a nice touch. Lovely place to have a drink or a meal.

Jacqueline was a great host, no fuss no mess, all the amenities, very well appointed.

it's a non-descript place and I think it's being reno'd. but that's neither here nor there the view at the back is very pleasant, in the yard. it's basically a basement apartment, but the owner has refined taste, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I don't think anybody would be complaining at all. nice touches are the laundry and all the appliances. and very pooch friendly, helpful that there were coverings for the couch, oh yeah and the added touch of chips and tea and chocolates really says a lot about the people who are renting the place out. they care. thx

Jacqueline was awesome

it's an understated dwelling with hidden jewels. walking around to the back I was wondering what I had rented but the view from the yard was super chill gorgeous view of the valley and Lake mountainside. the rental itself was extremely well appointed. thoughtful generosities such as the assortment of teas, and the bag of chips were very appreciated, just tells you that somebody's putting in that little bit extra and it really is thoughtful. the use of mirrors expanded the space comfortably. nothing was gaudy, nice choice of elevated appliances. no effort to go on the cheap here. bathroom is very comfortable. I didn't take any showers I just realized. the bath was a delight for me. the bedrooms were very comfortable and the fittings were also super comfy. it's a back basement apartment but there was lots of light. backyard is roomy and in the summer I could see people enjoying it with their kids. if you're here just to go about town you're going to be happy anyway. I mentioned that I had come from a stressful week and Jacqueline was super responsive always but on day one was asking if there was anything she could do to help. at no time was anyone in my face or putting themselves before my rest/enjoyment and that is also very professional. I personally prefer a harder bed but that's just me. it was definitely fine. I would say the TV could definitely be bigger but I say that about almost every place, and I had one with me regardless so my PS5 and I were quite content. thank you

Suburban basement apartment beneath owner's dwelling

My boyfriend and I rented this apartment for one month. When we arrived, the apartment was relatively small and cramped with furniture. We rearranged some of the furniture to open up more space for us with the intention of putting the apartment back the way we found it before our departure. Halfway through our stay, the owner came into our apartment unannounced while we were away, and she reacted strongly to our rearrangement of the furniture. She proceeded to remove many of her furnishings and appliances from the apartment. She also went through and rearranged many of our personal belongings which was invasive. At the end of our stay, she claimed that we damaged several of her items. She kept our entire security deposit to cover what she claimed that we damaged. We felt unfairly accused of damaging things that we clearly didn't damage or that was normal wear and tear. We did not ask her to move the furniture and appliances out of the apartment. Prior to departure, we asked her whether there was anything we could do to meet or exceed her expectations. We offered to put the furniture back the way we found it, but she did not respond to us. Before we left, we left the apartment clean and orderly. Prior to the owner's unannounced entry, the owner cleared the slippery walkway of snow and ice and left a parking space in front of her house for us. After her unannounced entry, she stopped clearing the slippery walkway down to the basement apartment and she stopped saving a parking space for us in front of her house. Prior to our arrival, we agreed to pay for a housecleaner to come clean the apartment once per week while we were renting the apartment. The owner set up the arrangement for the weekly housecleaning. On the second week, the owner came into the apartment unannounced with the house cleaner, which is when she strongly reacted to the furniture rearrangement. In retrospect, we wish we did not agree to have a housecleaner come into the apartment. All of this stress and tension would have been avoided and we would have received our security deposit, if we had not agreed to have the owner's house cleaner come into the apartment (which somehow gave the owner the idea that she could come into the apartment unannounced, remove many things from the apartment, and sort through and rearrange our personal belongings), because we were intending to put the apartment back the way we found it.
