GEM DU CENTRE-VILLE !! Charmante et accueillante suite avec cheminée, la suite Railtown est parfaite pour tous ceux qui veulent se détendre au cœur de Nelson, à quelques minutes en voiture de Whitewater Ski Hill.
Superbe emplacement; spacieux, beau et confortable!

Vous êtes à quelques pas des excellents cafés de Nelson, des cafés sur le trottoir, des restaurants, des boutiques et de la scène artistique locale. Marchez au cinéma, assistez à une pièce de théâtre au Théâtre Capitol local ou, en été, promenez-vous dans les marchés d'été du mercredi ou du samedi. Vous êtes assez près pour retourner à votre suite pour vous détendre et vous détendre entre deux activités. Vous profiterez également d'un patio avec table et chaises avec vue sur les montagnes environnantes.

2 BDRM Railtown Suite a 1200 pieds carrés de surface habitable avec wifi, télévision par câble, terrasse, café / bar à thé, salon confortable, cuisine complète, foyer au gaz, laveuse / sécheuse, et un parking gratuit ainsi.

La suite Railtown est chaleureuse avec le foyer au gaz en hiver et naturellement confortable pendant les mois d'été, donc il n'y a pas besoin de climatisation. L'entrée du clavier est pratique et facile d'accès à votre suite avec le code que nous vous donnerons.

Un escalier clôturé mène à votre entrée privée avec l'entrée sans clé. Continuez au coin de votre patio privé.

Le GRAND LOFT est une autre suite de 2 chambres qui a la possibilité de joindre celle-ci pour les grands groupes, si disponible.

Nous voyageons assez fréquemment, mais nous avons toujours un gestionnaire merveilleux disponible pour toute assistance, y compris des sites, des événements et des restaurants dans la région.
L'emplacement du centre-ville incroyable, la plupart des endroits à Nelson sont facilement accessibles à pied. Vous allez adorer rester au milieu de merveilleux cafés / cafés et magasins locaux d'un côté, avec le magnifique lac Kootenay de l'autre! Accès facile à la navette de Whitewater Ski Resort.

Lovely Nelson stay

Amazing property. Beautifully furnished with perfect little touches. Clear directions and close to everything. The fresh bread was a brilliant touch, and was enjoyed after a long travel day! Will absolutely stay again!

Railtown!

We had a wonderful stay at the Railtown suite, definitely a home away from home. We were able to have family visits, share meals, enjoying time together in a comfortable homey atmosphere. Well stocked, walkable, clean, roomy….perfect. Thank you Chara!! Definitely recommended.

Super cute and close to town

The property is exactly as it is listed. Walk two blocks, and you are right in the heart of shopping and excellent restaurants. It was a great central location for hitting the ski hill as well. Chara had us set up with everything we needed and was responsive to questions. I will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely Rental

Our family of four adults traveled to Nelson to ski at Whitewater. We absolutely loved Chara's Railtown Suite. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed, and just a really homey feel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Walking distance to bakeries, restaurants and shopping. The main bedroom was very spacious with a sitting area (couch and chair) and the bed was very comfortable. Second bedroom is off the living area, also with a very comfortable bed and decorated so nice. Spacious bathroom with everything we needed...lotion, shampoo, hair dryer, etc. Very clean. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook a meal at home, which we did not do because we wanted to try some of the local dining establishments. The fridge stocked with condiments and coffee creamer. And the cupboards were stocked with just about anything you might need. We loved our stay here. We were especially grateful for the warm homemade sourdough that was waiting on the counter for us when we arrived. How did she know that we are crazy for sourdough? Such a nice touch. We want to come back next year and stay in this exact spot.Thank you Chara for your amazing hospitality and for your quick responses to my questions. You really made us feel at home.

Fantastic apartment in awesome location

The apartment provided a delightfully comfortable and convenient start to our trip. It had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It was beautifully appointed and such an easy short stroll to the main strip of Nelson. Chara was an excellent communicator. Would love to stay again and highly recommend.

Immaculate, spacious and comfortable; perfect location!

This accomodation met all our needs and is open and airy, very clean with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect - very close to Baker Street and since it is near the railroad tracks, it's fun watching trains! Highly recommend!

Cozy in the Rain

While the rain didn't keep us from exploring, it was nice to home base out of this extremely convenient location--not to mention it was well stocked and super cozy (2 gas fire places!). The only down side is that you can hear the upstairs neighbors. They weren't noisy, just normal footfall and drifting conversations make their way down. But if you don't have a person in group particularly tuned into those things, it shouldn't affect your stay. You have to expect some upstairs noise when you're situated on a lower floor. Overall a great place: great communication with the owner, very clean, fun to watch the trains, everything we needed and more for a carefree mini-vacation. Thank you!

This house was so close to everything. Just a short walk up the hill to restaurants and shopping! The house was also very clean. The town was amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

Tucked away slice of paradise

Stayed in the upper loft last year but the Railtowm suite is just as charming and so well appointed. Chara’s genuine hospitality and eye for style and amenities make for an amazing stay. Location is fantastic, walk everywhere, so no fuss with pay parking or trouble in even finding a spot near Baker St. You won’t even notice the train and they are fun to see up close.

Beautiful weekend

The suite exceeded expectations and was roomy, cute and well stocked. Trains were right outside the window but quiet and fun to see, they didn’t disrupt our sleep at all. Super close to trendy baker street and good restaurants and cute shops. Highly recommend.

Charming hidden gem

Loved our stay here! Cozy, comfortable and charming decor, with all necessities supplied. Before arriving, we were a bit worried about being so close to the train tracks, but it wasn’t an issue at all. A couple of trains went by while we were there but they are very slow moving and quiet. It was fun to see them up close. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great location!

Our group of 4 had a short 2 night stay. This central location allowed us to walk everywhere and explore Baker Street. Beds were comfortable and we had all amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Chara welcomed us by leaving a delicious fresh baked load of sourdough bread along with oil/vinegar. She was a clear and prompt communicator. This listing is just as pictured and roomier than expected.

European Elegance meets Kootenay Charm

Gosh. I can’t say enough good things about Railtowne Lofts. By far our favourite place to stay. An extension of home with all the accouchements and then some. Beautifully presented, spotless and elegant. Perfectly located so you can walk anywhere in town. A place you will have on your favourites list for sure.

Geezers Skiing

Two retired guys up from Lower Canada playing along the Powder Highway while our knees and hips can still manage. The property is a little tricky to find, but the location is great! The views … Spectacular mountains across a rail yard. Super convenient to the restaurants and shops in downtown Nelson, and the apartment is well fitted out.

Cozy, Chick, and Convenient

We stayed here over New Year's Eve weekend after skiing Whitewater during the week. This place is really cozy for two couples to hang out - we watched lots of YouTube ski movies together after we had walked the town for dinner and drinks. Could hear the neighbors above but hey it was NYE and we were all up. Kitchen is perfectly stocked to make a little breakfast and even comes with tea and coffee and creamer! Chara has a knack for decorating, this place just feels like a dreamy vacation!

Railroad apartment

The host was great and answered questions quickly. Outwardly the place is clean but is in need of a deep clean and dust. The trains are both a plus and a minus. We liked the location close to the town centre section.

My husband, Michael, and I love staying in Airbnb's around the world. We enjoy meeting new people and appreciate a great, comfy bed and a beautiful place to stay.

I love to keep my guests happy and spend lots of time decorating and upgrading details of my space. A good day for me might be painting the walls and buying new pillows or furniture, as well as connecting with people from all around.

I also love cooking a delicious meal, listening to Michael play guitar and spending time with family, friends and our little grandson. I enjoy writing and guests are welcome to take a copy of my book, "Loved."

Nelson has been a wonderful home for over 30 years. Baker Street is awesome with all its eclectic shops and fabulous restaurants. Living downtown, we walk to the movies, grab a special coffee or stroll down to the lake.

Hope you absolutely love your stay and can't wait to come again!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

When we first walked into this property, it was an instant, "YES!" The ambiance is peaceful, cozy and yet so spacious. It's amazing to be right downtown and yet tucked away in a quiet nook, away from downtown noise. We love it.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Being able to walk anywhere is so freeing! The convenience of being so close to coffee shops, the lake, markets/shopping and even grocery stores cannot be overvalued. The views of the mountains and sunsets are beautiful. It's also fun to watch the small airplanes and occasional trains come by.
