Vignoble et ferme à la ferme WiLD Vines

Venez profiter de votre chalet séparé et superbement aménagé, situé au centre de Santa Rosa et de Sébastopol. Un grand lit dans la chambre, une salle de bain complète avec un grand salon est l'escapade parfaite pour un couple ou une famille avec de jeunes enfants. chambre avec canapé-lit gigantesque, télévision géante et XBox. Votre terrasse arrière donne sur un magnifique cadre rural et dispose d’un barbque à gaz, d’un bain à remous et d’une jolie table à manger avec poêle de chauffage. Vous pouvez allumer un feu dans le foyer pour compléter la soirée. Nous avons des zones de pelouse pour jouer à des jeux en plein air et sommes très proches d'une piste cyclable de 7 miles entre les villes de Santa Rosa et Sebastopol. Notre vignoble bébé a 5 ans et la cave est ouverte à la dégustation! Un potager, des arbres fruitiers et beaucoup de belles fleurs créent une ambiance et une beauté de la campagne.
Selon le code du comté de Sonoma, nous sommes tenus de percevoir une taxe d’occupation transitoire de 12% (numéro de certificat 2814N) et d’informer tous les invités que les heures de repos sont de 22h00 à 7h00 avec un nombre maximal de 4 invités et de 2 véhicules.

This property has everything that my husband and I could want. We enjoyed the cottage, the grill, the garden, tub, and fire pit. John and Lynn were perfect hosts and treated us to some barrel tasting. Do not hesitate to book this cottage!

Location

Perfect locale half way between Sebastopol and Santa Rosa. The unit had absolutely everything a visitor might need.

An oasis getaway

Wonderful, clean, comfortable cottage, well stocked! Lynn and John are super thoughtful hosts, they have great suggestions for spots to visit. Oh and they make a great wine too! Location is Close proximity to vineyards, groceries, downtowns, easy drive to the coast. We loved having breakfast each morning enjoying the backyard oasis! The hot tub was wonderful too!

Peaceful and flowery property

It was a great base for exploring Sonoma and Napa Valleys. If the weather had been a bit warmer we would have been torn between our explorations and the temptation to relax at home!

Lovely cottage in a private vineyard

The cottage was cozy and quiet, in a great location, with all of the comforts of home. Lynn was an incredibly thoughtful, caring host. We loved the hot tub, loved the spectacular wine she shared on our arrival, loved the pretty surroudings. Just an idyllic spot - highly recommended.

Great Stay

The hosts were great. They invited us over for a tasting of the wine they produce there and we learned a lot of interesting facts. The house is great and the hot tub is absolutely the perfect end to the day.

Cute cottage

Excellent host and perfect place with lots of character and charm. Amenities were plentiful and place had everything we needed and wanted. Nicely located for exploring the Santa Rosa area and close to the Sonoma Valley for exploring wineries and Bodega Bay. Highly recommended

An incredible find in the heart of wine country

Lynn's cottage is an absolute gem! It's a beautiful spot, close to downtown Santa Rosa and Sonoma wineries but secluded enough to feel luxuriantly private. Lynn herself is an impeccable host, warm and communicative. Overall this is one of the nicest stays we've ever had!

Perfect home away from home

Lynn has thought of everything to make this accommodation comfortable and hospitable. The kitchen is well equipped for any possible cooking needs. Our favorite area was the large, beautiful and quiet patio and garden area. We would definitely stay again.

Relaxed accommodations

The right size and space for two people. Everything you could think of for cooking between dishes, pots pans, bowls, utensils extra spices, and oils. There was a kuerig with a pod for your grounds. We loved being able to stay in and enjoy the back patio, garden, and hot tub after wine tasting all day. The owners were wonderful and gave you your space but were there to answer questions when needed. We had a very nice last evening of our stay chatting with them. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The perfect home base for Santa Rosa family visit!

This was our second stay, and transition from summer to winter is amazing in the vineyard and gardens outback. We hot tubbed, fire pitted and corn holed while being serenaded by nearby cows, sheep, goats, chickens and frogs! We love this place. Thank you Lynn for the fresh baked scones, backyard bottled wine, and fruits and herbs picked right from the gardens. We will be back!!!

Cottage Getaway

My boyfriend and I stayed at this cozy cottage for a weekend getaway and it was absolutely amazing! The hosts were very generous and had a complimentary bottle of their homemade wine upon our arrival. The cottage had everything one could possibly need including an assortment of cooking spices and supplies. Soaking in the hot tub was peaceful and the fireplace in the bedroom was so cozy. Lynn was even kind enough to ship us back an item we had left in the cottage. Definitely would recommend staying at the cottage for a relaxing getaway.

Great cottage with all the perks

We loved our stay at this comfortable cottage in wine country California. The gardens, hot tub and wood burning fire pit were an awesome treat. The hosts were congenial but not intrusive. Nothing significant in the "house rules", all typical requests of a private home. Their home-made wine was delicious. Many local wineries in the area and a peaceful place to come home to. Thanks for a relaxing and tranquil few days.

Wonderful Retreat!!

Our stay was amazing! John and Lynn were wonderful hosts. The cottage is perfect for a little get away. The patio, fire pit and hot tub were relaxing and private. We enjoyed a fun game of corn hole and wine. The beautiful vineyard and fruit trees are an added bonus. The cottage is in a great location to take day trips to Napa, Sonoma, Redwoods and the beach. I highly recommend the day trip that Lynn has planned out for guests to enjoy. Our visit will will be one that we talk about ofter. We hope to return one day and help with the harvest. We will always be thankful to John and Lynn for their hospitality.

Charming Cottage!

If I could give 6 stars, I would have. The host thought of so many special details such as soft robes, a running water fountain near the front porch you can hear when the windows are open, and a bottle of wine from their vineyard. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the front porch and enjoyed a spa on the back patio with beautiful patio lights and there is a fire pit which looked amazing but we were too tired from our day at the beach to stay up for. The garden in the backyard is so beautiful and peaceful. This is a special place. I’m an RN, and picky about cleanliness, and the cottage and linens were fresh and clean. We plan to return and will share this gem with our family.

Not what we expected

Owners were nice and responsive to questions. They stayed in a house in front of and within feet of the cottage. The location is 5 minutes from Sebastopol. Convenient, though from the reviews and photos we expected something else. The cottage is in a semi-rural neighborhood in Santa Rosa, not surrounded by open space on two sides. It was okay, but it would have been helpful for us to have a better sense of the area and setup, before committing to the rental. For us, it was a lot to spend and it wasn't what we expected. Again, the owners were very nice and we appreciated that.

Disappointing

My primary warning to other travelers is to expect to be hit with an "excessive cleaning" fee. We are frequent VRBO travelers and are accustomed to seeing written instructions for any expected cleaning on our part. There were no typical instructions for what was expected in terms of cleaning in order to receive your deposit back. We did not wash the dishes as there was no dishwasher - just rinsed and stacked. Also, we did not make the Queen bed or the sleeper sofa that we were forced to use even though there was just two of us. The Queen is a really old mattress and was uncomfortable to us. Dirty towels were piled in bathroom floor, things of this nature. I have no problem with paying cleaning fees. I also have no problem with reading instructions of what is required in order to receive your deposit back. However, I think it is a bit underhanded to advertise the rate without the cleaning fee and then charge one on the back end. The owners' claims of our "excessive" issues seemed a bit contrived to me. I will say that they provided very thoughtful foods and provisions. The cottage was very small and is not in a very nice part of town - but we managed. The back area would have been nice to enjoy but the dining table/chairs needed a good scrubbing and the fire pit was wrapped tightly the entire time.

We are both wine lovers. John has made wine with purchased grapes for many years and after our marriage in 2013 we decided to chase our dream of planting a vineyard to make our own estate wines. We found this property with 2 1940's vintage homes after an exhaustive search and moved two households from Southern California to beautiful Sonoma County that Fall. Although we have accomplished a tremendous amount, we are happy to say that our vision will keep us busy for many years to come. We love the opportunity to share all that is wonderful about Sonoma living with new guests and old friends!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Great location! Centrally located in Sonoma County, we are equal distance between the Pacific Ocean and Napa County. Close to the city (San Francisco is an hour away)but with the beauty of the country, our farm is an easy bike ride to quaint Sebastopol or Santa Rosa. We can taste wonderful wines, food, beer, and wander beautiful Redwood Forests within minutes of our home.

We have a large garden with herbs, vegetables, berries and fruit trees all available to our guests (in season)who enjoy cooking their own meals. We make wine in our little winery building and love to share the process and a few tastes with interested guests.
