The house is perfect and beautiful. The rooms are very clean and it has many necessary equipments. We just really enjoy living in the house and it is really the best experience during the whole trip.
Lovely apartment tucked away in a quiet neighborhood
My family and I stayed here for 2 days. This is a lovely and tranquil apartment away from the hustle the main canal. There is a water taxi stand a few feet away, which it's very convenient. Markets and restaurants walking distance
The apartment has a lot of potential and the area is great. Unfortunately, the entire property was dirty and not well equipped, the furniture needed to be repaired, replaced or/and refreshed. Chairs were broken. After complaining about a bathroom without any light, nobody care to show up to solve the problem. Drawers in the kitchen/living area were full of stuff from the owners, closets were dirty and dusty, vintage living room armchairs were in bad conditions and no toiletry at all. We sent a text message and an email with pictures but we didnât receive any reply. Management is very poor and absolutely disappointing.
We had a phantastic time. Very well located to hide away from the tourist masses. Nice Restaurants close by. Nicely furnished. Can only highly recommend.
Our short stay at this property was excellent - we had everything we need, the apartment was spacious, clean and with lovely character. The location is perfect - close to the Biennale but away from crowds. The host was easy to communicate and very welcoming. Our only wish was to have stayed longer!
The apartment is beautiful and well equipped. The location is wonderful as all the sights of Venice are within walking distance, but the neighborhood is quiet and residential. It also had air conditioning which was so nice in the heat. Check-in was easy.
Charming apartment in a convenient location off the beaten path
The apartment is a loft style, with high ceilings with wooden beams and big windows. Each bedroom has also a loft with a full size bed.
Although the common room (dining/leaving/kitchen) is small, it is comfortable and elegant and very quiet.
The apartment is close to the Giardini Biennale area and Via Garibaldi, conveniently located to visit all of Venice attractions. We found the place dusty at our arrival, but were told the renovations in the flat above were responsible for it.
In any case Pietro and Gaia were very responsive and offered to have it cleaned again on the spot. There is a small grocery store behind the corner and a bakery, which is all very convenient.
FĂŒr unsere BedĂŒrfnisse, sehr gute Raumaufteilung und geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Sehr gut gelegen fĂŒr den Besuch der Biennale. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
As a first time visitor to Venice, I really appreciated the location and lovely charm of the apartment. Itâs far enough away from the hordes of tourists yet convenient to many shops and restaurants. The charm of the property is splendid and it was very easy for us to communicate and ask questions to our hosts who responded quickly and were very accommodating!
We enjoyed staying at this place, the only thing we did not enjoy was
that the check-in had to be at 4pm (which however we do understand)
that we had to pay a tourism tax/ fee we didn't know of and did not even receive a receipt for it. That was a little uncomfortable/ weird.
Everything else though was fine, we would stay here again!
If you get a chance to rent this place, take it! You are close enough to easily see all the hot spots, yet away from all the tourists. The air conditioning is priceless! This place could not have been in a more convenient location either. There is a grocery store 20 feet from the front door and a restaurant in the square a stones throw from your balcony. You MUST eat at the restaurant in the square. We sat down for dinner and left grandma upstairs because she wanted to relax. The waiter asked for our keys and delivered her pasta to our door. She loved it! The food was outstanding too! We had just a lovely trip in large part due to this amazing apartment!!!
My husband, 3 grown daughters and I LOVED this apartment! It was our first trip to Venice and we didnât know what to expect! It is off the main streets in a quiet, less crowded area which was perfect after a long day in the hustle & bustle. It has a âlocalâ feel. Great wi-fi and A/C! We were there in late June and it was HOT so coming home to a beautiful, cool apartment was soooo nice! Yet still close and easy to walk to main attractions. St Markâs was about a 10 minute walk. Also very close to vaporetto stations. Overlooks a cute little square and there is a trattoria right in the square for morning coffee, croissants, etc. Gaia was very easy to communicate with and helped me figure out the water taxi back to the airport as I had no experience! We highly recommend and would stay there again if we get back to Venice!!
Our family of five truly enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment. There are two wings with bedrooms and bathrooms separated by an open living room, dining room, and kitchen area. Each bedroom also has a loft above it for more sleeping. The location is a quiet residential area off a lovely square. There is a tiny market around the corner and a business district with shops and restaurants a 5 minute walk away. We used water taxis to get to the train station and Rialto bridge but enjoyed the long walks to the Basilica of St. Marc and the other sites. It was nice to come home to a quiet neighborhood in the evening.
Great location in a quiet district of Venice! Spacious/clean area with fast Wifi. Also received great local tips from Gaia regrading transportation/local restaurants which were very helpful!

Sehr schönes Appartement in ruhiger Lage
Sehr schönes Appartement mit guter Ausstattung in ruhiger Lage
Bright room with high ceilings on the piano nobile of a former (minor) Ca` or Palazzo on lively Campo Ruga in Castello. Two large Kingsize beds with additional Gallery beds allow 6 to 8 persons but 4 is optimum, respectively 2 families with young Kids. Bathrooms (2) small but sufficient, kitchen (gas) a bit poorly equipped if You plan to do real cooking invitations with Your friends (e.g. no wine glasses) > there is one of the last remaining vegetable boats, a good fishmonger, bakeries, bottegas and a very good butcher just round the corner at Via Garibaldi, Supermarket on the campo Ruga. Good Restaurants in about 15 minutes Walking distance I can recommend: Vini al Covo or Pensione Wildner. Try also the "workers osteria" Alla Rampa (only lunch starting 11 AM) next to the fishmonger on Via Garibaldi. You can celebrate breakfast on the balcony! Gaia Vitolo is a very kind and helpful host, Simone and Nicoletta will help You in town. No place for parties and loud events, privacy of local neighbors has to be respected. Great location to visit the Biennale, as Giardini and Arsenale are both 8 minutes by feet. Very close to the next vaporetto Station San Pietro in Castello (5 Minutes walk, lines 5.1 or 4.2)

Quaint, Clean and Spacious!
It was very clean, incredibly spacious and furnished very beautifully. The shower was difficult to use due to being a handheld shower head, but did not change that we loved the home. We felt comfortable and safe in the area.
My family and I stayed at this lovely property. It was just as pictured and described. Very clean. It felt like we were living in venice in a gorgeous traditional style villa but with modern amenities Well equipped kitchen. quiet location. Communication was great and easy and Gaia was very helpful. We would highly recommend this place especially to family groups. Easily sleeps 8.
Lovely apartment on quiet square. Loads of room. Wonderful air conditioning which in Venice in the summer can be essential. Also don't overlook the Trattoria across the square. We "discovered" it on the last night and it was as good a meal as we got anywhere in Venice.
