Super emplacement privé! Cette maison de quatre chambres et deux salles de bain sur l'eau est située sur le lac Stateline, sur la "ligne" avec des choix pour se diriger vers le nord jusqu'à la péninsule supérieure du Michigan (UP) / lac Supérieur, pour se diriger vers le sud dans le pays sauvage du Wisconsin, ou tout simplement pour rester sur place et soyez à l'aise avec toutes les commodités de la maison. Située au bout de la route, la maison offre un cadre privé et calme. Avec un accès facile aux sentiers n ° 6 (Wisconsin) ou n ° 1 (Mi.), vous êtes en mesure de faire votre choix et de trouver le meilleur temps et la conduite la plus fraîche. Idéal pour les couples en vacances, plusieurs familles. Des meubles en rondins personnalisés tout au long et un niveau inférieur récemment rénové offrent une atmosphère chaleureuse et nordique avec de la place pour dormir, se prélasser (avec 2 coins salon de haut en bas) et de la salle à manger (offrant un porche et une terrasse grillagés au bord du lac, tous deux équipés de meubles ). Stateline Lake est connu pour sa grande pêche à la ligne - à la fois en été et tout au long de la saison de pêche sur glace d'hiver. Cette région est connue pour son observation de la faune particulièrement merveilleuse, y compris les cerfs, les aigles résidents, la loutre, l'ours et plus encore ... laissez cette maison vous niché dans les bois pendant une semaine!

Newly remodeled “cabin”. It’s more of a lake home now. Very quiet area. Rooms had more than enough room for everyone! Thank you so much for sharing this “gem” with others!

Peaceful Getaway

We had a great time! The location is very peaceful and private. Loved the screened porch and deck. We loved fishing off the dock and on the pontoon. Beautiful, quiet lake.

Very pleased

Very quiet out of the way place. The use of the pontoon for all of the guest to fish the bluegill ridden lake was perfect. I would definitely consider going back.

Relaxing and fun

We had a great time! The home had everything it promised- it was clean, and well equipped with everything to make our stay relaxing and fun. The pontoon worked well and was a definite plus. We certainly recommend this place for those looking for a private, quiet vacation spot. The only suggestion is that the path to the lake is....somewhat rugged; not for those with any difficulty walking. We had 3 generations and all had great time!

Inter generational family fun!

Favorite activity for all of us is swimming off the pier! Followed by touring this scenic lake on the pontoon while being serenaded by loons. And fishing for the world’s smallest bluegills for the 69 yr old, the 6 yr old, and the 2 yr old. The screened in porch overlooking the lake is great for family board games, watching storms, and listening to nature. This is our second visit to this property and we love the seclusion, and look forward to returning again.

Great place for a family vacation!

The place was awesome. My family enjoyed themselves, the pontoon was a great benefit and fun for all. Many hours spent using that trying to catch fish, which eluded us. The only downside was the smell in the basement. It was horrible, there were so many dead critters rotting away in the egress windows that are in the bedrooms. They should be cleaned out and perhaps the covers opened for a bit for the smell to dissipate. It was also great without the internet so that the family could just unplug from all the extra. We were busy all day.

Quiet remote relaxing escape into nature

Spacious comfortable house, 4 nice bedrooms and 2 baths. Kitchen, family rooms, screened and outdoor unscreened decks have plenty of space. The only thing it really needs is AC to control the dampness and humidity in the house during the summer months. Yes, it does get cool at night, but the noise of having to run all the fans and the dampness will be 100% addressed by adding AC. Otherwise spectacular views, great to have use of the Pontoon and hear the Loons at night.

Don’t stay here—

I was disappointed when we got to the property. The main level needs updating. The kitchen floor was visible to dirty and the entire place smelled musty. The pontoon boat seats were so cracked and torn we had to put towels down before we could sit on them. The stairs down to the lake are a hazard and there is no railing, it’s an accident waiting to happen. There is no a/c (which I knew) and there isn’t even enough fans for each bedroom(there are ceiling fans). The fans that were there, the blades were caked with dirt. There wasn’t even enough towels and wash rags; and what was provided was in poor condition. For the price I paid I would not recommend staying here.

Our Stay

The property was gorgeous. The home is perfect for multi family use. Towels and linens were supplied in bathrooms and bedrooms. Well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable and well thought out. There were a family of deer, two fawns and doe that we saw and were greeted with every morning. The available boats were a added plus and nice. We went up for a family reunion so did not use the boats much except for a short boat ride early one morning. This is Perfect for our family and 2 year old grandchild. The screened porch is wonderful. Enjoyed that immensely! The only suggestions I would make would be maybe a little more instruction as to how to turn on water, hours of lake use, and how to handle garbage. There were garbage cans that we put garbage in on the porch. We double bagged them and sealed them but was a little wary of the wildlife around there. We did not have any trouble and the garbage was never disturbed but we just were not sure if this was the way to handle. We are up there every year. This is perfect for our family. We will be contacting you soon regarding reserving sometime in August next year.

We had a great time relaxing and unwinding and enjoying all the benefits being "up north" !

The cottage was clean and the perfect size for our two families of four. Thank heaven for the screened porch, which was the perfect spot for dining, games, or listening to the lake without worry of being eaten alive by the plethora of mosquitos! The kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms clean and well functioning. All bedrooms were comfortable with extra blankets and pillows. If you want shade down by the pier, bring your own umbrella or portable canopy along with folding chairs. Pontoon boat was a great bonus! Bald eagles, loons and deer were easily spotted. We were unsuccessful fishermen, but had fun trying nonetheless. The only area of concern happened when the housekeeper arrived at 9:50 on our last day and told us we had the check out time wrong (it clearly states 11:00am on the website). When we asked about how to handle garbage, she told us that was our responsibility; there was no mention of this in the check out instructions nor did we have any idea where to take garbage as there were no written directions anywhere to be found. Lastly, there is no air conditioning at this cottage despite what the listing states (evenings were very cool and there were two fans). Regardless, we have a wonderful vacation and would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to experience true up north.

Not Enough Beds

We rented this home based on the understanding there were 4 queen beds and a set of bunk beds, as that is how the unit was advertised. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there were no bunk beds. To be clear, the ad says the home can sleep up to 10, which it can if you sleep 2 to a bed and use the futon and couch. In our case, we narrowed our search of potential properties based on the number of beds available. There were 6 of us traveling and we each needed a bed to ourselves. It would have been a perfect fit with the bunk beds. After informing the owner of the issue, he was apologetic and claims that he informed VRBO of the removal of the bunk beds last fall and that VRBO is at fault for not removing it from the ad. I don’t know who is at fault, and don’t really care, we were just disappointed that 2 of us would not have a bed to sleep in for the week. In the end, the owner did his best to make it right by refunding a portion of the rent…so credit is given to him for doing so. Had the bunk beds been there, the accommodations would have been great. The misrepresentation of beds is the only reason I’ve rated the overall experience as 2 stars. Based on previous reviews, we knew about the rough terrain getting down to the lake so we were expecting that. In reality, it’s not that bad of a walk down. On a positive note, we really enjoyed the screen porch. Spent a bunch of time out there and it was great. Our intent was to spend a lot of time on the water but unfortunately the pontoon boat motor died about a third of the way through our week so we missed out on that. Thankfully a friendly neighbor towed us back to the dock when we broke down…Kudos to the man named Ken for helping out. Par for the course though as all the people we ran into while we were up there were very friendly! Although we ran into a few issues during the week, we still had good times at the cabin. It’s always good to get away and spend time with your loved ones.

Stateline Lake

Stayed there with my spouse, and my daughters’s family which includes 4 young children. We all had a great time. The cabin was spacious and clean. Kids had a great time swimming and fishing in the lake. We’ll definitely return in the future.

Great stay

Our family had a great time. Had fun using the pontoon boat and the screened in porch was great, especially since there were a lot of mosquitos at the time we were there. Nice secluded location.

Getaway

We loved the peace and quiet this house brought us. It was perfect for our group (9) of all ages. When the mosquitos got thick, the screened in porch was a perfect spot to relax and hear the wild life. The views from the boat rides were excellent and a favorite activity for the kids. It was clean and felt very comfortable at once. We will cherish our memories here. Thank you for a great vacation!
