Great stay.

We had a weeks stay in Soho Square. Communication was very good with the management and housekeeping lady. The apartment was spotless. Heating in a cold February was excellent. Spacious and well equipped and in a fantastic, central location. Our only criticism would be lack of WiFi.We would definitely stay here again.

Central London location next to Oxford St

Fantastic location. 5 min walk to Tottenham Courr Road tube station. Walking distance to many attractions and shopping district, as well as loads of excellent eating options. Great amount of space in the apartment for a family of 4-5 people. Great communication with the property manager and the taxi pick up and drop off service to the airport made for a smooth stay.

Convenient London Stay

Close to all central London attractions. Kitchen appliances all works well. Very quiet in the building. Small refrigerator but no problem for us. One minor issue: WiFi in bedroom did not work well. Intermittent or non-existent.

Beautiful flat in perfect location

The staff were extremely kind and helpful, the location was absolutely amazing (an easy walk to most things, and right next to two underground stations for an easy tube ride), and the space was big, clean, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Soho Square apartment

This unit that we stayed in was in the heart of London and walking distance to everything. We were greeted by a very nice lady who showed us everything about the unit and told us the rules of the place. I would definitely love to return to this area of London

Old and worn apartment, decent location

The building and the apartment are in need of updating and repair. The location is very good, with a somewhat pleasant view over Soho Square from the living room window windows and access to the underground just around the corner. The remaining windows look out onto an alleyway that was full of garbage and renovation material. The apartment itself seems to have not been updated since sometime in the 1970s. There is a very small washer and dryer, neither of which seemed to work very well. A very small refrigerator, which was adequate. The kitchen sink had handles that barely function, and the setting of the hot water was dangerously high, meaning there was a real chance for a serious burn incident. The beds were of low quality, and there were no additional linens provided. There is Wi-Fi, but it only works in the front of the apartment. Overall, the feel of the place was tired and dark. The house was accommodating for early check-in and communicative, but we were required to meet a taxi at the airport in order to get our keys, and this cost approximately 100 pounds, so not inexpensive.There was also not much consideration for the little things. There was no bath soap provided, one additional roll of toilet paper, no paper towels in the kitchen, and only four towels (that’s a little tough after a full week). Overall, the location made up for quite a few of the shortcomings of the apartment, but it felt cheap and we certainly didn’t want to spend any additional time.

The flat was in a perfect location for trip to London. Apartment was clean and well furnished. Kitchen was more ready to use than most European VRBO rentals. We had a great time. Property management was there for any questions. Thank you

Perfect location

Family of four with two teens. Property is in a great location, very clean, small but we were almost never there so kind of perfect. Not used to sharing one bathroom but we made it work! Derek picked us up from and delivered us back to the airport and I highly recommend his service. Would definitely stay here again.

OK. Not great, but not terrible.

TL:DR version: Not a bad place, but the negatives balance the positives, making it merely average as a place to stay. In a city with so many great places and neighborhoods to choose from, we wouldn’t choose this one again. Pros: Good space, especially for a London apartment. The location is relatively convenient to many of the more interesting neighborhoods of London and convenient to the Tube to get to the rest. The immediate neighborhood isn’t great (see more below). Relatively quiet and peaceful at night The washer & dryer are helpful for longer stays (bring detergent and patience) Plenty of lighting Furniture is comfortable. Price is relatively fair for what you get Cons: Despite being marketed primarily to families, the neighborhood is less family-friendly than others and it all feels a bit bedraggled. Many unhoused people sleep on the sidewalk directly outside the front door including on the actual stoop; while not the fault of the owners and reflective of a larger tragedy in our society, it’s important for prospective renters to know as they were rather aggressive and the corner smells strongly of urine and constant cigarette smoke, both of which made our family uncomfortable. Families with children or those who are more vulnerable may want to consider booking elsewhere for those reasons. Internet is painfully slow and unreliable and is inadequate for even basic use (even Gmail would regularly time out); high speed reliable internet access is not considered an amenity anymore and this should be upgraded or disclosed to potential renters. Tub/shower is very high, deep, and slippery (even with the small mat you can put down) and there is no grab bar or anything to hold onto, making it unsafe for people with limited mobility or young children they are trying to bathe. Tub/shower is also difficult to keep at a constant temperature, rotating between too hot and too cold at regular intervals (something mentioned in other reviews) Basic amenities are limited; while it’s apparently an “unserviced apartment,” (something not disclosed in the listing, which refers to it as a “modern serviced apartment block) it’s not unreasonable to expect more than two trash bags and two rolls of toilet paper to be included for a seven-night stay. The lack of amenities makes it seem cheap and chintzy. Again, this apartment is OK, but per VRBO's rating scale 3-stars is "OK," hence our rating.

London and living in Soho square

5 Tage London - die Lage der Wohnung war perfekt, um London zu Fuß, per Bus oder Train zu erkunden. Soho Square liegt in mitten von diversen Food hot Spots, Bars, pubs, Cafés.

Soho active and the centre of Westend London

The property was positioned perfectly for getting around either by walking or by the tube. We did use cabs in the evening if dining away from SoHo. The property was a bit short on washing machine powder and the internet reception was poor. Probably not their doing. All in all I can recommend a stay for a family with many theatres nearby and many restaurants within a short walk.

Very conveniently located, clean apartment, but quite dated

The best thing about this apartment is its location, right Soho Square and thus proximate to tons of restaurants, bars, shops, the Tube, etc. Check in was easy, and communication was good. One annoyance was the very narrow check-in window, which was not clear from the listing. We had to change our train as a result, which wasn’t a huge problem. This would have been different had we been arriving by plane. The apartment is spacious, and it was clean. We appreciated the washer/dryer, and it had most things we needed in terms of kitchen supplies. I would have appreciated a N’espresso maker, which is common in rental apartments I’ve stayed in. My main complaint is that the apartment, including both the apartment itself and the furnishings, is very dated. I would guess that it hasn’t been renovated since the 70s or 80s. There were some minor issues (e.g. the panel on the side of the tub falls off; the method to keep the windows open is to place paperbacks in them). Overall, I would stay there again because it is a great value for the location. However, don’t expect luxurious, stylish surroundings.

Great space and location

Soho Square is loud and crowded. But it was so nice to literally walk out the door and go any direction and find food, drinks or shopping. The Tottenham Court tube was a three minute walk away. The flat is exactly as shown and was perfect for us and our two adult children. Having a washer and dryer in the flat was important because there were just enough towels for us for one day, so we did laundry every day. We also packed light, then washed and reused. While we were making our plans, Harry always responded quickly when I posed questions through the app. During our stay I wasn't able to reach anyone with the phone numbers provided, but luckily we ran into the manager at one point during the day and she was able to answer our question. I recommend taking a taxi from Heathrow if you have a lot of luggage. It got quite hot a few days while we were there, but we propped all of the wiindows open and turned on all the fans and we were comfortable. The flat always cooled down at night, too. The only cons: The WiFI is pretty weak. We were only able to connect consistently if sitting in a certain spot, which made it difficult for the four of us. I wouldn't have minded but so much of our planning and traveling depended upon the internet that it was a problem a couple of times. Also, if you're put off by street people sleeping in boxes, this isn't the area for you! They are harmless, but we did have to walk around them or step over them a couple of times. We also had to walk through pee once to get into the building. It's a big busy place, and the city does the best they can to keep things cleaned up and clear of rubbish. This is a great place for adults to stay--cheaper than a hotel and much more space and amenities.

Great Location

Easy access to buses and subway. Eclectic neighborhood. It was warm when we were there and air conditioning would have been nice. The kitchen was quite ample for our week long stay. The big plus is the largeness of this flat so that folks can spread out and not be under foot.

Awesome place, Awesome people, weak Wifi

The apartment is in a great location and is neat and clean. Harry was awesome getting us checked in early and arranging a cab from the airport. While he said it was part of his job, it was a treat for us. The only downside is the WiFi. I didn't know ahead of time that it wasn't strong enough to work or stream content. We were on vacation, so no issue this time. The apartment layout makes it to sleep in the bedrooms while others are socializing in the living room. A nice feature.

Great location and apartment. Clean, tidy and all the amenities you need. Super close to the London Underground. One of the Showers was a bit challenging (got very hot water which for some reason we couldn’t cool down). We would recommend this place and stay here again

Unbeatable location

Perfectly located flat in Soho Square - couldn't be more convenient for a central London stay. Flat itself more spacious than many central London flats; very generously sized living room and two good double bedrooms. Bathroom with bath & shower. Although a very busy area, and noisy outside at night, it is well soundproofed so this wasn't an issue. The management company were very responsive. There was a problem with the shower (probably because we were the first to stay for a long time due to lockdown), but literally within minutes of reporting it the delightful housekeeper was round and organising repairs - problems happen, and we couldn't have asked for better service.
