We enjoyed our stay very much! Our host was gracious and respectful to all of our questions. Daniela went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us with an unusual situation - taking time away from her day to assist us. The apartment was large and spacious. Each bedroom had a balcony. Safe and close to restaurants and shopping. Very walkable. Has an elevator to the floor of the apartment. Location was perfect. Just over the bridge and close to the 3 parking areas. We managed to find spaces in the free parking lot each time we came and went from Ortigia.

Apartment is as shown in the pictures, the beds and bedding were super comfortable and the place was very clean. Self check-in and check-out is possible. The apartment had all the essential amenities, and it was a thoughtful touch to have snacks and water waiting for us upon arrival. The location is very central and close to many local attractions, with easy access to shuttles, hop-on hop-off buses, taxis, groceries, restaurants, and shops. Because it’s on a main street, street noise is to be expected, but it’s also what makes the location so convenient. The owner Daniela was responsive, friendly, and helpful. When greeting us, she provided useful information, a map, and great suggestions for things to see in the area.Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you want to be right where the action is.

Beautiful apartment in prime location

Daniela greeted it's upon our arrival. She showed us around he beautifully decorated apartment. She was a wonderful hostess! The apartment is very open and airy and clean. The multiple balconies have is plenty of opportunity to enjoy people watching while having a meal, playing a game or enjoying a glass of wine. In addition, the rooftop terrace provides amazing views of the sea and Syracuse. The location is central and it's a short walk to anywhere in the island. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay. Thank you Daniela!

Posizione e host ottimo

Posizione appartamento perfetta in centro ortigia. Daniela host perfetta molto disponibile.

Perfect base to explore Ortygia

We (father and adult daughter) spent three nights at Il Mito, and I can't imagine a better place to stay in Ortygia, unless your taste runs to older style. This is a modernized, very nicely appointed apartment on a commercial street (300m or so of mostly fashion stores). Everything in Ortygia is within walking distance , so if you want to look at older, more charming exteriors you just have to wander east, south, or north. Via Cavour along the back side of the building is full of restaurants, but don't limit yourself, as there are fine places to eat all over the island. The exuberant outdoor market is just a few blocks away, and the kitchen is suitable for cooking the results of your market visits if you are so inclined. Daniela is a warm and gracious host. If you arrive by car early enough in the afternoon, she will direct you to park in front of the building to unload, but parking in the evenings on most of the island is restricted to residents, so plan on using the public lot (Eu15/day). Highly recommended for families or even for two couples.

a lovely flat right in the centre

This flat could not have been more central and is in an ideal location to explore all the sights. Daniella, the owner, made us feel very welcome and was flexible with the check in time. The flat was spotlessly clean, spacious and very well equipped. It was a joy to stay here.

Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful apartment on the main shopping street in Ortigia. It is well furnished and comfortable with high ceilings and small balconies in every room, additionally there was air conditioning in every room and automatic blinds that can be closed to dampen any street noise at night. The apartment is close to anything you might want to do in Ortigia. Daniela gave us a few suggestions for eating and sightseeing and we were enjoyed several of them. I highly recommend this apartment.

Great apartment and location

On the main street of Ortigia the apartment is ideally situated for exploring the town and Siracusa. It on the second floor of an up market block and has a lift though there are a few steps from the street. The rooms are nicely decorated and have high ceiling and balconies front and rear, apartment was very clean. Few minutes walk to the market for provisions with small supermarkets and restaurants close at hand. Daniella's check in and out was efficient and she called midway through our stay to collect the bins. Great host and would recommend staying here.
