Benthall House at 4 Benthall Farm est en plus de nos trois autres propriétés à Beadnell - Shepherds Cottage, The Bothy and Shepherds Lodge (Ref: E10292) Benthall House est une grande maison individuelle avec vue sur la mer.
Passez du temps dans le salon à l'étage où vous pourrez déguster un verre de vin sur le balcon donnant sur la baie rocheuse ou profiter d'un barbecue dans le jardin clos à l'arrière de la maison.
La maison dispose de 4 grandes chambres, 3 chambres doubles (1 en-suite) et 1 chambre double.
La cuisine / salle à manger ouverte, la véranda et 1 chambre sont situées au rez-de-chaussée. Il y a aussi une grande salle de douche / WC au rez-de-chaussée, donc idéale pour ceux qui ne peuvent pas gérer les escaliers. A l'étage, il y a 2 autres chambres doubles (1 ensuite) et la chambre lits jumeaux, une salle de bains familiale avec baignoire et douche. Le salon est également situé à l'étage pour profiter au maximum de la vue sur la mer.
Il y a une zone pavée à l'avant pour se garer avec des portes si sûres pour les enfants et les animaux domestiques. Benthall House est idéalement situé sur le front de mer, où vous pouvez enquêter sur les piscines rocheuses sur la petite baie de l'autre côté de la route ou vous promener le long de la baie de Beadnell, à seulement quelques minutes à pied. À 10 minutes à pied du village, il y a deux charmants pubs familiaux, les animaux de compagnie, un beau café et une boutique du village.

Family seaside holiday

An excellent location and a very nice house. Plenty of space for everyone and fabulous sea views from the balcony. We were lucky enough to see a large pod of dolphins and an otter feeding one evening.

Here again

Our fourth stay in this lovely property and already booked for next year. A short walk to a great beach. Good food in the Craster Arms and the fish and chip van. Enjoyed visiting Seahouses, Bamburgh and Alnwick.

Family holiday

We have had a great week at Benthall House. So much thought has gone in to what the owners provide down to beach towels and barbecue coals etc. Very comfortable and lots of space for a big family. Safe enclosed garden for our little dogs. Could not find fault. Location is amazing for the beach and views from house are great. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again another time.

A perfect place for relaxing, dog walks in the beach and good food

Benthall house is a lovely place to stay , fully equipped for everything you’ll need. Long beaches close by for great walks. Easy walking to seahouses (40 mins) for some wonderful food at the Black Swan ..

Another perfect stay

We have stayed at this property on a number of occasions and will definitely book again. The house is lovely and clean and well equipped for a large family. A secure garden for both dogs and children. A perfect location very close to the beach.

Beautiful house great location

Beautiful house stunning views and a great location. Well stocked with everything to make it home from home. Homemade cake and bottle of wine on arrival makes your arrival extra special. Great base to see surrounding area make sure you do not miss the small harbour and beautiful beach 2 mins walk away.

Lovely house, perfect location

We had a lovely stay at Benthall House. Plenty of space indoors with 3 bathrooms and a nice sized garden for the pooch. Lovely cake waiting for us on our arrival was a nice treat. A stones throw away from the beach. 'The Landing' and 'The Bae' were close by for food.

We have stayed at Benthall house twice previously and couldn't wait to return. Such a lovely property with fab sea views from the upstairs lounge. Great for a stay on the Northumbrian coast. Thank you to Sam and all of the team.

ideal holiday house in great location

we were a three generation family group of eight with two dogs. children 3, 5,5 and 8. the house ticked all the boxes, great location, plenty of space, good enclosed garden and enough parking for our three vehicles. The upstairs living room was a light and sunny space for a bit of downtime and playing games when wet. The utility was ideal for our dogs, dog towels, toys and bowls provided. the back patio is a suntrap in the afternoon and a secure place for young children and dogs. However the best thing about this house is the location, 200yds from the large sandy beach and the rock pool beach straight across the road.

Plenty of space

Lovely spacious house in a great location. We were 4 couples staying for 3 nights and had 4 cars but parking not a problem. 3 bathrooms was a definite advantages though the ensuite was very small.Good storage and plenty of kitchen equipment but we did eat out at the local Craster Arms Pub and got take away Fish and Chips from the Beadnell Towers Hotel. No complaints at all. One evening it got quite chilly but a phone call to the owners quickly resulted in the heating being turned up.

Holiday 2024

This was our third time at Benthall house, 3 generations and dogs . The house is very comfortable and plenty of room for us all, the garden is safe for children and dogs. We explored the coast from Lindisfarne to Amble, plenty of things to do and see. We all enjoyed the cake and treats left for us, and we are sad it's possibly are last stay here if the house is sold.

Spacious family coastal house

Benthall House is a large, spacious well-equipped detached holiday let with views straight out to sea from near Beadnell harbour. We were short of nothing inside the house and it is very close to lots of interesting places. There are plenty of walks and cycle routes in the area too. Just a note that at present (Jan 2025) there is no local shop in Beadnell - the nearest is in Seahouses, but this wasn't a problem once we knew. The owners were excellent in their communications and we would definitely recommend this property and return ourselves.

Spacious and comfortable house with lovely sea views

We stayed here for a long weekend and didn't want to leave! The house was spacious, giving plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 teens to chill out and the beds were comfortable. This was also a very good location - quiet with lovely views to the sea and only a short walk to Beadnell Bay and to the Craster Arms (very good food). It didn't take long to get to Lindisfarne or Alnwick Castle, both excellent places to visit. Finally the welcome cake and wine was a lovely touch - thank you Sam.

Lovely property and location

We had a great weekend at Benthall House to celebrate our son's birthday with 3 generations meeting up. The owner Sam met us on arrival and to show us around the property. She was extremely friendly and helpful and very kindly left us a delicious cake and bottle of wine which was much appreciated. The property is very clean, comfortable and well equipped with stunning views of the coast. It is in a fantastic location with many interesting places to visit. We can recommend the Billy Shiels' Farne Island boat tour from Seahouses, it was amazing to get so close to see the seals. A wonderful weekend in a great property and we look forward to visiting again as there is still so much to see.

Fabulous stay for multi generation family plus dog

We had a fabulous weekend at this holiday property. It was in an idyllic spot for the beach - it was a cold few days so we went to the beach with little ones, came back for warm drinks and a chill, then walked to the beach again! Perfect! There were a couple of small hiccups at the beginning but Sam and her nephews sorted these promptly & they were super helpful. The welcome pack stunned us all! Thank you so much!! We would def recommend and we will return . My only advice if you have small children is take a few toys such as a box of Lego or duplo. But we would do that anyway.

For Sale sign, tired property.

Property pictures looked idyllic and my friends agreed. However, the truth was we were mortified. Cobwebs, dog hairs, smelly in great need of a makeover, however being up For Sale I doubt this will happened. Felt dirty and very unwelcoming. Sorry but this was not good. Have pictures. We were asked to hoover up on leaving but wouldn't know were to start.

Thank you for your review and we only wish you called us when you arrived so we could come up and rectify the issues of cobwebs and the dust on the lampshade and the other issues you experienced. (thank you for sending the pictures) We are a family business and our aim is to provide a comfortable and clean holiday home for all our guests and this will not change due to the house being up for sale. We have had to make the difficult decision to sell this property due to family reasons but we will continue to run it as we always have providing a comfortable family and dog friendly holiday home. I am so sorry that you experienced these few issues during your stay.

Spacious, welcoming, clean and homely

A group of seven of us plus a toddler have just stayed for the weekend. We were in the area for a friend's wedding and chose the house mainly due to location, but we would all happily visit again for a holiday in its own right. The welcome from Steve was warm and friendly, and informative. The cake you very kindly left us was delicious and a real treat! All of the rooms were comfortable and very nice and the whole house was in great condition and clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment and there was plenty of storage space. There were lots of nice touches (the books and board games were great!) and the location was fantastic - beautiful sea views from the lounge. It was a bit chilly to make use of the balcony, but what an amazing addition that would be in summer. The house was warm and extremely comfortable for our group. I know the couple with the toddler appreciated the extra sitting space downstairs (they were up rather earlier than the rest of us!). All of our correspondence before the stay was prompt and very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property and hope we can make it back up for a visit at some point.

Brilliant week - even the weather was pretty good

This was our first holiday with our 4 month old grandchild, her parents and auntie and uncle. The house was perfect for this special holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners of the property. On arrival the owners were at the property to show us where everything was and how it worked. There was a lovely lemon cake and bottle of wine left out for us which was a very nice thought. A new looking travel cot with nice linens was put up for us and also a very new looking high chair, (although she's not quite ready for that yet). The fact that this house has three bathrooms was perfect as it meant each couple had their own space. The view from the upstairs balcony and livingroom was stunning (most days) we fortunately only saw mist on one occasion. My sons dog was also well catered for with special doggy treats left for her, doggy bed, towels and also balls to play with. We only had one slight issue whilst on holiday and Sam sorted that out very quickly. I'm sure we will be returning in the future.

We have three other holiday cottages in Beadnell and love the village and Beadnell Bay. Benthall House appealed to us as it is right on the sea front, only a minutes walk from the beach

The house is on the sea front with fabulous views from the upstairs balcony. It is walking distance to the beach and to the shop. There are also two pubs in the village with are within easy walking distance
