We had a lovely holiday in this lovely chalet, really spacious although needs some updating. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed and it was lovely to sit in the hot tub and look up at the mountains. We were 2 families and had plenty of space. We had a lovely holiday and would certainly consider returning.
Had a fantastic week here for Christmas; the chalet is a generous size with an amazing amount of storage for all of our snowboards etc. The boot warmers are a real bonus. It was a perfect size for our group of 8. Communication with the owner was excellent. Would definitely return.
Chalet in good clean condition, great location for skiing La Plagne and Les Arcs, you do need your own car though to get to slopes, but only a short drive. Hot tub marvellous after day on the slopes. Chalet recommended.
I have been skiing in the Alpes for years, but I couldn't rate this place more highly. If you're looking for something just out of resort then this is the place. It had everything you could want and more. Iain and Claire communicated perfectly with throughout the entire booking process. The chalet is equipped with everything you could need from board games, Netflix, fondue set, DVDs, games console.. the list goes on. The hot tub was a massive plus for sore knees at the beginning and end of the day. Beds so comfy and plenty of clean towels. We even had our first BBQ of the year in the well kept garden. It was a 2 min drive to the bottom of the slopes. You can walk it, but I wouldn't want to do that in ski boots carrying skis, but there's plenty of parking in Montchavin. 10 out of 10. The pictures don't do it justice. It was simply lovely. Thanks so much for your hospitality. Simon, Jane and the gang. Xx
Ideal for our group of 7 - 4 adults and 3 kids, located in the sleepy hamlet of Montorlin just below Montchavin which is perfect for either La Plagne or Les Arcs. Day starts with either a short drive or warm up walk to resort depending on the weather. Owner very responsive and helpful. Everything as it should be, very clean and well equipped. Hot Tub a definite bonus with fantastic views across the valley. So good, we have already booked to return next year!
We were two families with two 17 year old boys and two 15 year old girls staying over New Year 2016. The chalet was fantastic. We totally got the wow factor when we walked in. The open plan kitchen, sitting room and dining room is just perfect for 8. The bedrooms were spacious and well equipped although do be careful of the wonderful beams on the top floor as they are a bit low but make the chalet very beautiful. Having the two bathrooms and a separate loo were exactly what we needed. We ate in 5 nights and ate out in Montchavin twice. The walk to Montchavin was 15 minutes up a steep climb but very manageable even with poorly knees after the skiing but do remember a torch.
The hot tub was a complete bonus and one we enjoyed each evening under the stars.
The skiing area of Les Arcs and La Plagne are brilliant and serve every level. We went when there was very little snow and you couldn't ski down to Montchavin but the upper slopes had been groomed immaculately and we had great fun skiing every day.
Two tiny criticisms was that there was not a lot of hot water for 8 of us to shower after a hard days skiing and the dishwasher did not perform well but these are tiny notes and do not take away from a fantastic holiday which was completely made by the wonderful chalet. Liza was excellent at providing tips on where to eat, getting our ski passes and generally being very nice indeed.
Thank you to all.
We had a great holiday. the chalet was comfortable and cozy and had all the mod cons and in a lovely location. Will definately be returning.

I live in Scotland with my wife and 2 daughters, we are a family of skiers and have been skiing in this area for almost 30 years.
I am a BASI qualified Ski Instructor and Alpine Race Coach and having skied all round the world I can honestly say that Paradiski, and in particular the area around Montchavin/Les Coches, offers some of the best skiing and boarding available. Whether you are wanting to cruise the blues, or look for something a bit off the marked piste, everything you want is on your doorstep.
In the summer the whole family are keen cyclists, mountain biking and road cycling. Now the girls are getting older I am enjoying "ticking off" the local Cols on our road bikes.
Chalet Jaune is a spacious, warm and comfortable holiday retreat. The private gardens and large sun terrace are hard to find features in Alpine properties.
