Everything you need in a quiet but central location. Owner very friendly and helpful. Cottage itself clean and equipped with all essentials. St Ives is gorgeous, fab beaches and lovely shops, and we will be back. Highly recommended.
Beautiful little cottage in great location just minutes from shops and harbour. We had a fantastic time with our two dogs. Lelant has a lovely dog friendly beach and St Ives and the surrounding countryside is gorgeous. Would recommend The Queens, Halsetown Inn and a lovely walk (allow 90mins with dogs) to Lelant for lunch and a pint at The Badger Inn!!
We pick this one because of its location and proximity to st ives town. It was comfortably and well equipped. It would benefit from a larger bathroom radiator to give towels a chance to dry and somewhere to hang clothes while changing. Be aware that the yard is not an outside space.
My husband and I stayed at this cottage with our 2 adult daughters. It is a dear little cottage and is very well equipped. The cottage is cosy and the kitchen very well equipped. The beds are really comfortable too. It is only a short walk to the shops and beaches but is in a very quiet street. We parked at the rugby ground which worked really well. It was fine to park outside the cottage to unload our stuff and then run the car up the hill to the rugby ground. We did the reverse on leaving. We loved the personal touches in the cottage and would love to go back.
Having stayed in St Ives previously our expectations were high.
Horrified that my husband could not get into toilet without an extremely tight squeeeze. The small door would only open to 45 degrees as the loo pan prevented it from opening further. This was not acceptable.
No well located mirror to shave . Only one above loo pan!
The wash basin was small only fit for a cloakroom.
This is not a newly fitted bathroom. Suggest the noise from shower be fixed by plumber as it is a disturbance.
The rear storage area is very unsightly to those staying and could be put to better use.
The stairs are irregular , narrow and steep..
you cannot get up without pulling on bannister .
It is an apartment suitable for two adults two kids only.
Three adult seats only
A lovely little cottage, which was very clean and well appointed. Jocelyne was a very helpful host. Great location - you can easily walk to any of the beautiful beaches in st. Ives. We went to a different beach everyday!
Parking in st Ives is a headache, so we avoided the busy long stay car parks and parked at the rugby club up the hill. ÂŁ6 a day and plenty of space. You can unload and pack up the car outside the cottage though.
We loved our stay at this fisherman cottage. Location perfect to access food/ shops & beach. Walks for the dogs were on the door step. Property had everything it needed & more to make are stay the most enjoyable! Canât wait to return. Will be recommending to family & friends! Thank you again xx
enjoyed our stay. the bedrooms were not too hot during the night. plenty of room and excellent location to get to the beach and rest of St Ives. Plenty of car parks reasonably priced. Will definitely look to see if this property is available when planning another trip

Stylish cottage in great position
Well equipped, comfortable cottage in quiet street only a few minutes from everything
We arrived on a Thursday night and it had everything we needed. We found it easy enough and got settled in. It is in a great, quiet location and not more than a 10 minute walk to everything in town. The space is small but it is well utilized with efficient appliances and clever storage. We were four adults so we were somewhat lacking in space to comfortably hang out all together but we spent more time outside in the town anyways. The house provided a great Home base for us while we explored the incomparable St Ives and surrounding regions.
Cottage catered for all our needs, enabling us to park the car (at St Ives Rugby Club, recommended) and enjoy all that St Ives has to offer on foot. The cottage is more than adequate for 2 adults and 1 child, with everything being well proportioned in a quiet street. St Ives can be expensive, we found this cottage to be good value when compared to others we looked at that were closer to the beach but not as well appointed.
We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Sails. The cottage was perfect and located less than 5 mins walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to St. Ives and we're already thinking about when we can go again. Blue Sails is perfectly placed and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Thank you, Jocelyne! We'll be back!
The cottage was beautiful , felt like home from home . It was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need . Only a few mins from the beaches , harbour and shops . We had a fantastic time there .
What a delightful property this is! Simple and compact, it manages to squeeze in everything you'll need - the design of the kitchen is a small miracle, and the hand-built fittings there and in the smaller of the two bedrooms are of top quality. The location, just a couple of short streets removed from the bustle of the centre of St Ives, is ideal, and there's a choice of long-stay car parks within a five minute walk. We've stayed here twice now, and confidently expect to do so again.
Stayed 2 nights in this beautiful cottage, location is perfect and cottage is equipped with everything you need. Lovely comfy bed and stunning shower. We loved using the log burner in the evenings, felt so cosy!
Blue Sails is a very comfortable little cottage, conveniently located and a pleasure to stay in with our two young children (age 7 and 11). Owners are very easy and pleasant to communicate with. Highly recommended.

We run a small business in the Midlands and bought the cottage because we have always had holidays in Cornwall with our children..they enjoyed the area as toddlers and still want to go there as teenagers!
We have always loved St Ives and bought this cottage ten years ago and lovingly restored it over many months, transforming it into a holiday home both ourselves and our customers enjoy staying in. It is in a quiet street near the centre of St Ives, being only a five minute walk from the centre.
The cottage is convenient for all beaches in St Ives, as well as the harbour. It is near to the shops, pubs, restaurants and Tate Gallery but enjoys a quiet location away from the traffic and crowds. There are no steps to climb up and down to get into the town and we have super fast broadband and a lovely wood burning stove!
