Stunning Sea Views Sleeps 4 in lovely 2 bed, 2 bath show flat, garage included
The double fronted first floor apartment is beautifully fitted through out and has excellent sea views from the master bedroom , lounge and kitchen. Away from the noise of summer crowds, the flat is a stones throw from St. Ives beaches and shops. Situated just behind the Tate Gallery, there is a direct path to the famous surfing beach that takes just three minutes from Ocean Breezes. A dedicated garage space is included nearby.
Turn right from the flat for a choice of routes to the many art galleries, restaurants and shops in the historic fishing port, a few minutes stroll. There are two other calmer, beaches within easy walking distance. Porthminster and Porthgwiden boast beach side cafes and restaurants with superb views and menus.
The main bedroom has a double bed and a generous en suite shower room. The second bedroom has a two single beds and there is a separate bathroom with hand held shower. Both rooms have hot towel rails. There are two toilets in the apartment. The lounge/diner and kitchen are set out in a sociable open plan. If you choose to cook the kitchen has everything you should need. Reliable wi-fi throughout the flat. Rated as Four star accommodation by the English Tourist Board.
This apartment is very well presented with everything needed for an enjoyable holiday. The fact that there is a garage available (600m uphill) is a great advantage as parking is at a premium in St Ives. It was lovely to relax looking out to the sea after a day of exploring. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The flat itself was large, clean, and charmingly decorated. The big tub was a bonus after a long day of seaside walks. The flat is perfectly located with glorious views, exactly what we had in mind! The hosts were communicative, friendly and helpful when an issue arose that we needed assistance for, and we recommend staying here for anyone wanting to enjoy St Ives.
The apartment is beautiful, the view is indeed stunny, as its name reckons, the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has all a family needs. It is conveniently located in the village of St. Yves. The check-in process, especially the identification of the placement of the key box and of the apartment itself, requires more information. Pictures of the placement of the key box and a map that shows the apartment in the building would be helpful, especially for those who arrive to St. Yves late and tired. The host simply does not answer to phone calls, as the messages in the album of the apartment confirm; he/she replies to messages but with delay.Overall, I do recommend the apartment.
Our stay was great. The property was clean and spacious, with all the necessary amenities. However, some windows could not be opened due to needing repairs. Especially, the main bathroom window. There was no fresh air movement.I am 81 years old with a knee replacement. The garage was too far away for me to walk there and back each day. I feel that this should have been made clear to prospective visitors. I had to use the Long Stay Parking in front of the accommodation, which was pricey. What a beautiful apartment, with a splendid sea view.Thank you for a wonderful stay.
This is a lovely apartment with great views and in an excellent location. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was very well equipped with everything we needed.
We had a really great time in St Ives, probably our favourite UK destination we've been to.The apartment was just the right size for us (2 adults, 2 children), and the location was superb, just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and shops. The garage is about 600m walk from the property, and is an absolute godsend, as parking is horrendous, even though there is a long stay car park right opposite, there was hardly ever a space. Word of warning though if you have a large car - I have an AudiA4, not the smallest but not the biggest either. it JUST JUST fitted inside, back bumper touching the wall and about 2 inches space at the front. I could just about get out of the driver door by using a cloth to the wall to stop it touching. It was a great addition though, and saved endless hours driving round looking for a space! The only negative I have is that most of the windows were closed and couldn't be opened, so it was very hot at night, but the temp was in the high 20's while we were there, wouldn't be an issue if a bit cooler.Lots of beach stuff was also included in a cupboard which was a nice touch.
A wonderful place to stay. We didn't want to leave!
A great place to stay for surfing and fun at the beaches of St Ives and close to all the lovely arty stuff too. Near to the harbour but just far enough away to be nice and quiet, with a view of the sea and sunsets in the evenings. The flat was clean, tidy, well equipped and the perfect size for a family of four.
We were pleased that the flat was as advertised and communication with the owners was great. We stayed 2 weeks and used the flat as a comfortable base for our Cornwall holiday. We highly recommend the flat.
The property was located in the best place we could have wished for. A very short distance to Porthmeor beach and St Ives but surprisingly quiet. Beautiful views of the sea and sunset. The apartment was spotlessly clean and equipped very nicely. With everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable and I even took a look to see who the manufacturer was (a lot more comfortable than ours).we did use the garage but found it a little far away and very small. This was to be fair as advertised. The car park right across the road is only 6.30 per day or 15 for a week. Would probably recommend this. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Itâs an excellent base for exploring the beaches and town. I would highly recommend this apartment. You wonât be disappointed. Many thanks
Great place in the heart of St Ives with amazing views.
Stayed for a week and had a great trip.
For parking, do not use the car park app, use the web site and buy a roaving ticket if staying for a week or more. It is the same price as a week for a single car park but covers all over Cornwall for the same price.
We really loved our stay in this spacious apartment. It was our 9th vacation in Cornwall and the 3rd in St. Ives. This was clearly one of the best housings we had. I would recommend it to anybody.
The only drawback is that there is no direct parking available, but then again, if you do not plan to move your car, Barnoon parking is right opposite to it.
Sehr entspannter Aufenthalt mit allem, was man braucht.
