I stayed for 7 weeks and enjoyed my stay immensely. Deen and David were extremely attentive hosts. Fantastic location; 5 minute walk to charming Franklin downtown. The apartment was very well equipped and the furnishings extremely comfortable.

Franklin Family vacation

We loved the house. I was clean and very nice. It was really convenient to be so close to downtown. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and walking into town. We highly recommend this house and would stay there again.

Southern Charm and Hospitality

A charming historic home located blocks from downtown Franklin that has lovely hosts. The whole upstairs has a separate entrance that is yours to enjoy. Great amenities abound. We would definitely stay again.

Downtown Franklin TN House

My siblings and I (three couples ) were in Franklin for a family reunion and were so happy to have found David and Deen's VRBO. There was more than enough space for the six of us, and we enjoyed being able to walk into town. It was a rainy few days, but no worries; David and Deen had plenty of umbrellas handy. The beds were comfortable, and the two bathrooms worked fine for us. Their place exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend it.

A Wonderful Place

Six of gals from the States all gathered together. This was the perfect spot to convene and within walking distance of downtown Franklin. The hosts could not be more accomodating. The two complimentary wine bottles and the GOO candies were a bonus! Thanks D & D!

Everything throughout our stay was great. From check-in, to the hosts explaining the property and parking, to check-out. We never asked for anything because everything was provided and we were never bothered by the hosts.

Comfort and Kindness

Our family enjoyed 5 nights at David and Deen's 3BR/2BA apartment and had an incredible home base for our adventures. Of course, life always throws curveballs, so the central heating decided to go out upon our arrival. David and Deen couldn't have been more gracious and on top of things in working through the repair -- all while taking steps to ensure we were warm and cozy while we waited for the repair to be completed. The home had absolutely every amenity that we needed for an enjoyable and deeply relaxing stay. I highly recommend the property.

Franklin Girls Trip!

We gathered here for a much needed girls trip. This place is incredible! We had everything we needed and immediately felt at home. I’ve stayed in a lot of rentals and this one was very well stocked. David and Deen were the best hosts and have really thought of everything to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The location is great for exploring the beautiful little town of Franklin. It’s an easy, safe, and beautiful walk to downtown. We plan to make this an annual trip and can’t wait to return!

David and Deen were incredibly accommodating. They were quick to respond when we had concerns about the impacts of Hurricane Helene. We'd absolutely rebook with them in the future.

The perfect girls’ weekend!

Replete with charm, this home was the perfect place for our Franklin stay. Our hosts were so kind. The home was very roomy and beautifully appointed. We were a quick walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

David and Deen were the perfect hosts and their property was perfect for our girls getaway trip. We enjoyed our stay so much! We had everything we could possibly need and the location was.. you guessed it, Perfect!! An easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Can wait to stay here again!!

College Roomies’ Reunion

Five dorm suite mates at Lipscomb from the mid 70’s gathered for the FIRST time since 1976!! Time melted away as we renewed friendships and learned of the joys and heartaches of the past near 50 years. And we really aren’t that old😜 The house was in a perfect location for walking to the downtown and the house was WELL appointed for any needs we had. The hosts were welcoming and lovely people. We shall return!!

Spectacular property in a very cute area!

My family stayed here to attend my dad's 90th birthday celebration nearby. My flight was delayed, but Deen graciously met my sister and gave her a tour of the property and very well-thought out instructions. Deen and David made staying here very easy! The rental space itself is very cute and has everything you could ever want or need stocked (for example, cough drops, spices, toilet paper, etc). Deen and David epitimize "southern hospitality"! The place is very cute, very clean and very quiet, set back away from the street. The rental space is separate and is upstairs - but there is an elevator for emergencies (I suggest checking with Deen and David if you would need more than emergency access). Street is tree-lined and in a historical neighborhood. Plenty of parking on the very wide street. You could walk to the little historic down-town area (we did not as it was very hot during our stay). Deen & David have a book full of information regarding restaurants and other locations travelers might be interested in. WiFi works great. I can't say enough about this place. The balcony that is posted in the listing is the balcony that you can enjoy a coffee of beverage on - overlooking the cute street. My family members kept saying what a great place I picked for our stay! We will all consider staying again when visiting my dad!

Great place, great hosts

Deen was fabulous! She made us feel so welcome from the wine and Goo Goo clusters to the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! The towels and sheets were amazing quality and the beds and pillows so comfy! The location was great and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need to make a dinner. We had fun playing Franklinopoly and our teenagers played countless games of go fish! The communication was great before, during and even after our stay. It felt like we were coming home, everything was comfy and welcoming. I would recommend staying here to anyone.
