La Casita Azul est un charmant chalet d'hospitalité côtière. Vos amis et votre famille peuvent se promener dans les restaurants locaux, le tout à une seule distance de marche et à seulement 5 minutes à pied de la plage et de la jetée de pêche Horace Caldwell!

Vous pouvez entendre les vagues du golfe depuis le perron de La Casita Azul, construit en 1945. Ce Surf Shack ECLECTIC a un petit village, de style casita latino, mélangé avec un décor de plage avec beaucoup de couleurs tropicales vives.

Les cours avant et arrière sont entièrement aménagées avec des PLANTES TROPICALES et vous profiterez d’une DOUCHE CHAUDE EXTÉRIEURE pour rincer l’eau de mer. La cour arrière entièrement clôturée possède un Tiki Island en fronde de palmier avec un éclairage agréable pour le siège et une prise de courant sur le pont pour brancher vos appareils électroniques. Un barbecue au charbon de bois répond à tous vos besoins en matière de grillades.

Les sols en bois restaurés coulent dans toute la pièce à vivre avec un téléviseur à écran plat 55 ". Votre famille appréciera le forfait Spectrum Cable et ne manquera aucun de vos spectacles loufoques. Le chalet est équipé d'un lecteur DVD / magnétoscope avec une grande bibliothèque de films pour les déménagements en fin de soirée. En parcourant la cuisine de style rétro-50, vous remarquerez qu’elle contient tous les basiques de la maison. Y compris une cafetière, micro-ondes, grille-pain, mixeur et belle vaisselle, verrerie, batterie de cuisine et couverts. Le bar du petit-déjeuner peut accueillir le café du matin. Un écran plat de 19 pouces avec lecteur DVD intégré vous permet de regarder le matin tout en préparant des crêpes!

Cozy little house in an excellent location. The house was built in 1945, has some hardwood floors and a nice little pergola out back. We used the outdoor shower daily and is also a neat feature. The shower/tub in the house drains slow, possibly clogged with sand. I had to change the AC filter as the AC struggled to keep up and maintain 75° most of the time. The old filter was dated 9-2024 and was clogged badly. The new filter didn't make much difference. The back yard was severly over grown with weeds and stickers. Most of the decor was mismatched and looked to be from rummage sales. If we had planned to prepare and eat meals on site, it would have been almost impossible without buying eating utensils. There is a single fork and 2 teaspoons. The beds are all broke down and you roll to the middle. There isn't much lighting in the bedrooms as all the lights have been replaced with ceiling fans only and a single lamp on a table. All these "minor" issues add up to make for an unpleasant experience but the issues could be corrected to make this location a nice stay.

Nice eclectic little house

Loved the fun decorations. The house was clean and in a great location. We definitely plan a return to this adorable little house.

Great Property Management Company to work with

There was a slight issue with the house which required me to relocate to another location. The team did a great job finding me another location for me and my family. While I can't speak to this specific property, I can give this PM company a 5 star.

Our Stay

It was okay for an old house. House had sinking floor in kitchen. Dishes and utensils were not washed right, charcoal grill not very safe, broken door on outside shower and sprinklers would turn on throughout the day and night. It was okay and was close to beach and restaurants.

Not as advertised

I don't like to give negative feedback but I wish someone had alerted us that this property was not anything close to what was advertised. It is an old home, yes, but in quite a state of disrepair. It was not clean; it smelled bad; the furniture and rugs were stained; and it was generally not comfortable. We reserved a larger house so our family could congregate and cook, etc. but we only were able to shower and sleep. The yard is overgrown and full of sticker burrs and weird fencing and other random junk (not safe for kiddos or for enjoyment). It was frustrating to drive around and see all the very nice, well kept houses that we could have stayed at.

Great little house, perfect location!

The location was amazing! The house was older but worked well for what we needed. Starkey was very easy to get in touch with if we needed anything. I wish we had more towels and the main bedroom bed was softer. Also there were stickers in the yard that we tracked into the house, a washer and dryer wouldve been nice as well but there would be nowhere to place it. Overall it was a great experience and I appreciated all of the amenities that they provided in an older house!

Cute and comfy

Overall great stay. I would stay again. Great location! Everything you need to bbq or make A meal. Utensils, Crock Pot, Pots & Pans. Concerns: Watch out for the stickers in the grass (front yard and back yard.!) Bathroom doors don’t lock.

This is a great house!!

The location is great, the house was clean, and loved the outdoor seating area and outside shower WITH hot water! There is also a shower out front perfect for rinsing all the sand off beach stuff. I enjoyed all the decorations in the home. Very nice!!

Great Old Town Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental is very inviting and comfortable. The rental for our family very well. The house is centrally located to everything you need. We have stayed at this home twice now. Both times we believed that the home needed to be better kept with and updated features wouldn’t hurt. Bathroom in hallway had some issues with shower curtain. We moved the coffee table in the living room and it looked like it had never been cleaned under. We ran the vacuum one day to keep sand control down and it wouldn’t even suck. We spent 30 minutes cleaning it out to be able to use it. We have a large group with children and found out the hard way the backyard is very inviting but covered with poor landscaping, over grown, stickers, and stinging nettle. Backyard now for the second time needed to be mowed and trimmed, as well as the front.

Decent beach cottage experience, however the property is in need of refreshing. Living area is pretty dark and lighting is poor. Light above the kitchen sink was detached on one end, and the windows facing the backyard were extremely dirty. Good location and the mechanicals worked well, but the tub drain was slow so standing in water during showers.

Great location for walking to bars & restaurants

We enjoyed our stay, especially the great central location. The house had plenty of kitchen supplies to allow for quick snacks and coffee in the mornings. The yard was great for the dog. Bed was a little mushy though...maybe time for a new mattress :)

Great place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very clean. Great location. Great backyard for fur babies!!! The only thing I would suggest is having a clothesline in the back yard and spray pre emergent for the sticker burrs. Amaze brand is the best pre-emergent.

Great Location - Great Owners

Convenient location to great dining in Port A. The house is dated but eclectic decorating make it feel new. The mosquitoes were pretty bad this weekend due to recent rains so we didn't get to enjoy the backyard as much as we had wanted. We had an issue that the property manager fixed immediately and gave us a discount on the stay. Very much appreciated. Thanks for having us

Overgrown poorly maintained yard

This house is in serious need of some maintenance updates. Instead of putting a note on how to open a door know that constantly got stuck, spend $8 and put in a new doorknob. The yard had not been mowed in I don’t know how long. The outside shower was basically a spout coming off the wall. The water hose was strung out all over the yard. The tiki hut was cute, but half the lights don’t work. The bbq grill was so rusted, it caught fire and we couldn’t even cook our burgers. The photos are misleading because nothing about the house looks like the photos.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful vacation and had not stayed atThis property before. I have rented from Starkey which is always a pleasant experience. Good points— air was super cold, very comfy beds, house was old but eclectic so we had fun pointing out all the cool objects daily we found something new. Bad points— there were no decent pans to cook with, no biggie I bought a 10 dollar skillet at dollar general and we were fine, the yard is one reason we rented here and it was lacking maintenance and grown up. None worth complaining about in the moment, nor did any of it keep us from having a great time. I almost called and asked if my plumber hubby could fix the shower head on the front outside shower :) And... we left the house much cleaner than we found it.

Good family vacation!

Nice house, not quite a easy easy walk, busy/hot road, to the beach but the drive wasn’t bad. Backyard was nice but overgrown and the back door knob was pretty frustrating after a week. The fridge gave us a scare but the management company came right away. The ability to walk to a good restaurant after a beach day was really nice. Thanks for letting us stay!

As expected

This property gets some bad reviews but it was just as expected. It’s a classic old Port A house. It had everything we needed but no resort-type perks. It was important to have room for kids and to be able to bring our dogs. The fenced yard was really great to hang out in. The neighborhood seems busy at first but it was quiet for sleeping.
