Villa Mar est une maison accueillante avec 2 chambres doubles et 2 chambres lits jumeaux au rez-de-chaussée. Il y a deux salles de bains récemment rénovées avec douche à l'italienne situées au rez-de-chaussée. Au premier étage, la villa dispose d'un salon spacieux avec 2 coins salons et d'une cuisine américaine. Le salon offre une vue panoramique sur les environs. La villa est équipée de TV satellite, four complet, réfrigérateur / congélateur, lave-vaisselle lave-vaisselle et coffre-fort pour objets de valeur. La piscine est chauffée à l'énergie solaire toute l'année avec ajout d'électricité du 1er novembre au 30 avril. Si vous souhaitez avoir un chauffage électrique de mai à octobre, veuillez demander des frais. La villa dispose également du wifi. Des packs de bienvenue peuvent être fournis, veuillez demander le prix.

Excellent stay

We had a lovely stay at Villa Mar, this is our 3rd family trip to this villa and we really enjoyed our holiday. The host (Maria) is fantastic and I can’t thank her enough for how accommodating she was.

Fantastic property

Clean and tidy loads of beds and space. Location in quiet with a sort walk down hill to all amenities. Private pool amazing.

Amazing property and amazing location

The property was beautiful and very well equipped and the location was perfect for shops, buses and proximity to the airport. We all loved our stay and were very sad to leave! Would recommend to any group looking for somewhere nice to stay, close enough to everywhere with tourist attractions but with the authentic local feel.

Big villa

Massive villa everything you need 20min walk to start of strip. Villa itself is a little dated, could do with a refurb, bit of a walk to empty bins. No English Channels. Swimming pool was good and plenty of towels Don’t think would rebook but still a nice place for a big family as 4 bedrooms. Thank you

Fantastic location, fantastic villa

Fantastic location minutes away from the beach and shops. A short walk into the main strip of Puerto del Carmel but also minutes away from Matagorda as well so best of both! Villa had everything you could have wanted including a great pool and spacious accommodation. Would go back as location suited me perfectly

Wonderful Villa

We stayed at Villa Mar as a family group of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Lynn the host was excellent, very responsive and helpful. The area is lovely and the pool and outside space is wonderful. We look forward to returning soon.

Villamar good place for holydais

Villamar is an excellent home to spend a vacation and host a large number of guests ... the kitchen should be renovated, and the pergola on the terrace be more spacious to protect more from the sun. But overall, the house is excellent, close to everything, and away from it all.

Wonderful Base to enjoy Lanzarote

Very clean, tidy Villa. We had a wonderful week, enjoyed the pool and it is very close to Rancho Texas and maybe a 15 minute walk to main strip. Very close to local shops, great beer in local Indian beside the spar 2 mins walk. 7 of us stayed , everyone would go back and we will :)

Wonderful holiday

We had a lovely second visit to the villa. We had looked forward to returning since our last visit. The host Lynn is very accommodating and the management company are very responsive, we had an issue with the kettle and a new kettle was immediately provided within 30 minutes of being reported. The pool was maintained regularly throughout our stay. We had a wonderful holiday here and would like to return.

Great to getaway

We had a fantastic time, pool very good, cleaned regularly and temperature was ok. Villa a little tired in places but acceptable. We had one or too little bits to feedback on which I have done privately and the owner was very quick to respond and grateful for the feedback. Overall, we had a good time.

lovely

Stayed here for 10 days, lovely, relaxing and peaceful. We too had no wi-fi, but after calling into their office in the hotel, one of the ladies and engineer came round and fixed it. The pool was full and clean. The pool guy came twice while we were there, also we asked if we could stay late as we had a late flights and the girls in the office said no problem as no one was in the villa after us, they were so friendly and helpful. Can, t wait to go back

Family of 10

Wonderful 10 day family holiday. The villa had plenty of space for 10 of us and had everything we needed. Pool was amazing, kids (including the big ones) had a ball. Not too far from the local shops/restaurants/bars and a few mins walk from the beach. PDC 35 minute walk which we did several times as it was a lovely walk. Also buses every 20 mins. Excellent communication with Lynn. We highly recommend this property...my partner proposed at the villa so its a property/holiday we will never forget. Our only negative is that time went far too fast. We will definitely be back.

Lovely villa , excellent host, brilliant location

The villa was great there was so much space, there were 9 of us in total and not once did we feel on top of eachother. The furniture is abit dated the drawers in the double bedroom need changing they constantly fall off the runners when opening and closing them. The 3 sofas on the lower level are all abit worn out and out of shape which makes them uncomfortable to sit on, however the 2 sofas on the higher level are beautiful and very comfy. The pool is amazing and plenty of loungers and chairs to sit and relax on outside. There’s 3 fridge freezers which was very useful as there was 9 of us. Location is perfect it’s not too far to walk to the strip of PDC or to the shops at Matagorda but if you’re not feeling like walking there is literally A bus stop at the bottom of the hill. The Host Maria was fantastic from start to finish every query I had was answered either on the same day or by the next morning at the very latest. She arranged the taxis back to the airport for us which was very helpful. The only downside was the maid service they came once( on the 7th day) in the 17nights that we were there and they literally just came in and made the beds they didn’t give us any clean sheets which was abit disappointing I wouldn’t have even minded if they just stripped the beds and left some clean sheets for us to put back on the beds ourselves once a week . Other than that and the pesky tinyants everywhere I would definitely stay here again

Fantastic villa great value and fabulous pool

We have just had the most wonderful time staying in Villa Mar. We were amazed that the villa was so close to the beach and strip for the price we paid . It is a fantastic holiday base for any large group. The pool is beautiful and well kept . Pool man called most days to check . We ordered a welcome pack which is advisable to get you started . The management company are just located at the bottom of the hill and could not do enough for us. They were so friendly and helpfull Arranging taxis , tours, and even got us a hire care at a great price. They also have baggage storage facilities and showers which we had to use on last day as there was an arrival just after us. Thank you so much to all the team!! We are already organising next year!!

Description read Puerta Del Carmen. Property was in Los picollos, which was too far out for us. Also the villa sat up on a hill, all of our party struggled with this. The villa itself was big, plenty of room tho was pretty dated and in need of upgrading, some Tlc. Some crumbling plaster, sockets not working, hole in wardrobe door, ensuite door sticking, got locked in a few times, curtains hanging off upstairs lounge, which I noticed had been commented on before but never fixed. We cleaned bathrooms kitchen etc before using. Overall villa pretty tired looking. Outside space was fabulous, with a decent sized pool. We spent most of our holiday here. Im sorry but would not return to this villa. Host really good though with communication, couldnt fault her.

NICE WEEK AWAY

The villa was located very close to a few bars, restaurants, and a Spar a further 5 mins walk took you into Piccolos which was a lovely area. The villa itself was a wee sun trap with all the layout and facilities as read, Although on our arrival there was no electricity, all switch's on and when I called the number to enquire there was no answer. (Eventually called the number that I was not to call except in emergencies) after 2 hourts of phoning and searching the villa it was put right. Beds comfortable except the middle room with 2 single beds, even my 9 year old grandson could'nt sleep in either of them extremely uncomfortable. Tried to get the satellite working but to no avail all week, had the handyman in looking but that did not help either, a bit disappointed about that as having 3 kids under 9 it would have helped a great deal. Overall we enjoyed the holiday and villa, but for the price we paid and the problems we had, I would'nt book again. Last thing, we were never visited by anyone in management or owner.

Terrible. 1 star for location only.

We said a letter of complaint about this property complete with photographs and owners direct forwarded to the owner on 22nd August. They haven't bothered replying. It has been noted that I have been given a poor guest rating simply for making polite complaints backed up with photos. If you stay here and make a complaint they do not apology or even discuss it with you they just give you a poor guest rating. I would not recommend this property to anyone. On arrival I rang the telephone number given several times on Sunday afternoon and nobody answered until the next day. The blind in the bedroom had fallen off and not replaced,the sun beds were broken and tatty, the wifi code was incorrect, one bed did not have a pillow and the gas BBQ didn't have enough gas. I am surprised that these issues aren't checked on changeover day.The blind wasn't fixed for 4 days. The swimming pool was frequently filthy as the water wasn't pumping around sufficiently. The children all came up in rashes when using the pool but whenever we raised this issue we were dismissed. They office and pool man cited our suncream and our English skin. All the children have had holidays in the canaries and France and never had this sort of problem.I have also asked for a record of the readings of the chemicals in the pool and sent the owners photos but we've received no comment or readings from them. My daughter received a nasty gash from nails sticking out of the banisters. Again I've sent photos and not received a comment or an apology. I rang to tell the office the washing machine door wasn't closing properly. We went home 5 days later and nobody had fixed it. The 2 twin rooms were extremely stuffy. Neither room has a window that opens to the outside, they just open to the hall way. This means there is an inadequate escape route and as the property doesn't have a smoke alarm I did find this very worrying. The property has 2 fans we could have used in the twin rooms but one was filthy. The main bathroom window is sealed shut and only opens out to the annex living rooom and not outside. The room also does not have a fan and because the shower is designed as a wet room it takes 12-14 hours for the floor to dry out making it very dangerous for children to use. My 10 year old slipped over a number of times.I have shown friends photos of the condition of the pool and the windows and they have been horrified.

Logement globalement bien équipé et spacieux, le seul reproche à faire c'est qu’il n’y ait pas de wc séparé, ennuyeux car logement fait pour un grand Nombre de locataires.

Es la primera vez que me pasa esto. Han entrado a la casa sin nuestro permiso. Totalmente denunciable. En el patio hay unas puertas que conectan con un terreno colindante. Uno de mis amigos se metió para verlo porque estaba la puerta abierta. Cual fue nuestra sorpresa al llegar, que pusieron un candado a la puerta del patio y se llevaron cosas del patio (la lona de la piscina y el soporte donde va enrollado) sin ningún tipo de autorización por nuestra parte. Después de esto, no lo recomiendo en absoluto porque no pudimos dormir la última noche por miedo a que entraran de nuevo

Lovely villa in a great spot

Lyn was amazing any queries were sorted asap. The villa was amazing. The pool area was absolutely fantastic. The position of the villa was perfect within 10mins walk everthing was there restaurants shops bars you name it was close. Thank you 😊 we had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday
