Our stay in this lovely house was excellent.
Everything you need is there in the house. The living room, the kitchen, the bedrooms, the garden, the pool,⊠is all very good. The house was very clean and the airconditioning in the rooms is great! We enjoyed our vacation very much!
Spacious villa, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need.
Caroline was an excellent host with super quick responses to all of our questions before and during our stay. She recommended restaurants and places to visit which was really helpful.
The pool was the perfect size and very welcome in the 30° heat - Bernie the pool man kept it clean throughout our stay and was also very helpful with some recommendations of local wine tasting and restaurants.
The local boulangerie was fabulous and friendly and we are still dreaming of the pain au raisin !
Cannot fault the cleanliness of the villa, plenty of hangers, fully stocked kitchen and the newly installed aircon in the bedrooms was very welcome.
We wouldnât hesitate to recommend this property - 5 stars !!!
The only reason we didnât give 5 stars on the location was because there were not really any restaurants within walking distance so had to drive but it did mean we got to see lots of lovely villages on our way out to dinner (Pezenas, Neffies to name a few)
E&K
Excellent villa with 4 bedrooms (2 ensuite - and one bathroom ..note there are a total of 3 WCs not 1 as per Verbo listing).
Fully equipped with lots of towels (including pool) and everything you may need in the kitchen.
With tasteful artworks on the walls it feels like you are borrowing a family home and not just a rental. Freesat connected to the telly gives you UK TV (Helpful for F1 and footie fans).
Pool and General houseman Bernie is very friendly and is a short drive /WhatsApp away and will help with anything.
We were blessed with glorious weather and followed the advice to shut up the house during the day to keep it cool. The pool was there to keep us cool.
Easy parking for three cars and lots to see a short distance away.
As with most of Southern France take some mozzie spray and note France doesnât sell Anthisan cream!!
Hopefully we will return! Lovely place to stay.
We stayed for a fortnight in this fantastic villa (4 adults and 4 children). The inside was well presented, with comfy sofa's in the lounge, a large dining table, family friendly open plan living and kitchen area, 2 ensuite bedrooms and a large family bathroom for the other two bedrooms. Apart from one small step into the 4th bedroom and a step at the front and rear patio doors, the villa is on one level. There are a couple of large steps down the the pool area - we managed just fine with our disabled son to get him around the villa.
The mezzanine floor had a variety of DVD's and games for 'chill-out time' in the afternoon, although it was pretty hot up there! Having pool towels provided by the owners was really useful. The garden was beautiful and the pool provided hours of fun for us all.
We had hot weather during our stay (high 20's to mid 30's) so we used the fans provided. The only downside was we weren't prepared for the mosquitos and had to go out and arm ourselves with sprays, as we wanted to keep the patio doors open for some air-flow which allowed the little pests into the villa to annoy us at night!! A common problem, not specific to this villa however!
Caroline, the owner, was extremely helpful, giving us information ahead of our stay and messaging us about the logistics for our mid-stay linen change. There is also a helpful folder of information and leaflets to help you decide the best places to visit.
The location of the villa was perfect for us - a bit in the countryside so you can see the vineyards and visit the Gorges in the mountains nearby, as well as only being a 30-40 minute drive from the Med coast and plenty of beaches to choose from. We particularly liked the beaches near Sete(on the strip between Sete and Agde) as parking was free and the beaches were quiet. We also enjoyed the market in Pezenas on Saturday. The village bakery was visited by us daily and we used the Pizzeria in the village a couple of times, there is also a small grocery shop and post office.
We all loved our holiday in this villa and hope to return at some point. Plenty to do nearby and the villa is in a lovely relaxing setting. An excellent choice for anyone considering this villa - we highly recommend it!
We had a fabulous holiday in this lovely villa. It is well equipped with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels provided. Spacious living area and good bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Nice pool with an underwater ledge all the way round so good for the children. Local shops within walking distance and the village has to be one of the friendliest I have been to in France. Play area upstairs for the children so they could spread out toys without us all tripping over them! The weather was great too which always helps. Quite a few mosquitoes but the house has nets over the windows. Overall excellent, we would certainly go back.
Lovely, well kept, clean property with all the necessities you could need for a holiday.
We enjoyed a lovely family holiday and despite the slightly colder weather made use of the garden and pool. Size and layout of the villa meant we could all be together but have privacy if you wanted a quiet 5 minutes.
Would highly recommend for a group of friends or family
A welcoming, airy house with plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing. The property was clean with everything in the room ready to use with an extremely well equipped kitchen if you would want to cook! Local bakery within easy walking distance. We had lovely weather for the time of year and spread out around the pool and terraces. The nearest coastal town is half an hour by car with a beautiful beach. Recommended restaurants are pinned to the notice board with plenty to choose from in a variety of price brackets. Had a thoroughly relaxing, enjoyable week.

Greg and Caroline Koplick
Living and working in London, we have visited many different parts of France.
We fell in love with the Languedoc with its circulade villages, the Canal du Midi, vineyards and avenues of plane and cypress trees, - not to mention the many days of sunshine which the area benefits from annually.
Since buying the house in late 2007 as a holiday home, to which we come as often as possible, we have made many enhancements to it and extensive alterations to the look of the gardens.
We were keen to be centrally located amongst the vineyards between the Black Mountains and the coast. The drive from St Chinian through Cessenon and Murviel to St Genies was all it took to know this was the area we wanted to be in.
Added joys are the stunning scenery of the drive down through Millau or over the Pyrenees from Bilbao and being so close to Barcelona and Andora.
After seeing a stepped hillside property in the Corbieres, we wanted to find somewhere with character and views. The house, though modern, - with its unusual double height space - had everything we wanted and delighted our son, who was 7 at the time, with the pool and also a mezzanine area he could call his own space. Apart from the mezzanine, the villa is all on one level although there are steps from the outside dining terrace to the pool.
