De 2 grands balcons, Lac de CÎme dans toute sa splendeur est à nu devant vous. L'immense espace de vie et de divertissement est conçu pour la détente unconstrcted et de socialisation. La grande cuisine, opulente salle à manger, un salon et une télévision à grand écran, piscine partagée, 3 chambres confortables, garage privé ... tout le confort de la maison a été prévu de faire un séjour mémorable un magnifique de celui-ci! L'appartement se trouve à seulement 5 minutes en voiture du joli village au bord du lac de Menaggio avec son lac de ligne de palme promenades, belle place et de nombreux équipements. De la plage du Lido de boutiques, primé à geletarias trattorias et le ferry qui accÚde à l'ensemble du lac de Bellagio à CÎme, il ya quelque chose pour tout le monde. Rien d'étonnant Clooney et Versace ont choisi le lac de CÎme, car il deuxiÚme maison.

5 star stay at the Penthouse in Menaggio

Our stay at the Penthouse was amazing in every way. The view is extraordinary. The home and kitchen met our every need. Gemma and Barrie helped us immensely and suggested some amazing restaurants as well. We will return. Thank you, Kenneth Ballard

Beautiful view and big space

We had our family with us for a week at the penthouse and we enjoyed it very much. Too far from town to walk sadly. Property manager is very congenial. We had to do all our own research for ferries, tours, etc.

Very nice property

The location is perfect, just a few minutes by car from Menaggio. Large penthouse apartment with lift access directly into the property. Pool is great, never busy even though it is shared with 7 other properties. Stunning views over the lake and mountains from both the pool and the property. We stayed here 5 years ago and this is the first time we have ever returned to a property! Spotlessly clean but could do with a little bit of updating, sofas are getting very tired now.. given the high summer temperatures in Lake Como a ceiling fan in the TV room, at the very least, would be good. Better/stronger fans also needed in the 3 bedrooms. On balance, would definitely recommend this place.

Entering the apartment you are greeted with a view that doesn’t disappoint But other things might
 The mattresses are probably older than the building. Rock hard with inner coils calling for a restless night. The sheets are worn and poor quality in prison grey shade , as are the towels , which are in specialty short supply. The apartment doesn’t have air conditioning, so it’s best not to stay home during the day. At night it would cool off somewhat, but with leaving the windows open you must be prepared for a battle with various flying insects and spiders. The house is definitely not walking distance from town so it’s best not to over indulge in wine with dinner for the drive home. This property and it’s guests deserve a lot more care. We enjoyed our vacation nevertheless, visiting other towns on the boat , shopping and dining. even found a lovely beach. I would definitely recommend visiting Menaggio .

Stunning view

This is a great appartment. Spacious and well equipped. We were 5 adults, and yet it didn’t feel cramped. The view is spectacular. One could wish, that it was an easier walk to town, but, you can’t have it all. Good recommendations for restaurants, and easy enough to go shopping for groceries, wine etc. when you want to cook at home. Definitely recommendable.

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei erwachsenen Söhnen und ihren Freundinnen da. Die RĂ€umlichkeiten waren fĂŒr uns ideal. Drei Schlafzimmer , auch wenn eines etwas klein war, und zwei Badezimmer in gutem Zustand waren perfekt fĂŒr einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die KĂŒche war riesig und hervorragend ausgestattet - wir haben gerne dort gekocht. Zwei Terrassen zum draußen sitzen haben das ganze Domizil abgerundet. Toll ist dass man direkt vor dem Haus bzw. In einer Garage parken könnte. Der Zugang zur Wohnung im 3. Stock mit einem Aufzug erspart das Schleppen der Koffer und der EinkĂ€ufe. Der ganze Aufenthalt gestaltete sich sehr unkompliziert. Allerdings bekommt man von den Nachbarn/ Mitbewohnern viel mit, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Die Lage der Unterkunft am See ist top, auch wenn man in den Ort ca 20 Minuten zu Fuß laufen musste. Der Ausblick entschĂ€digt. Menaggio selbst gehört fĂŒr uns zu den schönsten Orten am Comer See, am Seeufer kann man gut sitzen , einen Aperol Sprizz genießen, Bier trinken oder einfach Eis essen. Am großen Platz am Seeufer befinden sich neben vielen Lokalen zwei Eiscafes. Kleine nette LĂ€dchen laden zum Bummeln ein. Ein großer Supermarkt befindet sich im Ort, der auch ParkplĂ€tze hat, die allerdings schnell belegt sind. Das Sortiment im Supermarkt ist gut, alles was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Empfehlenswert ist die gut sortierte Wurst- und KĂ€setheke. Im Ort gibt es natĂŒrlich auch noch einen BĂ€cker. Die Restaurants sind ok, wir sind allerdings abends auch aufgrund Empfehlungen zu Restaurants gefahren die etwas weiter weg lagen. Zum Zeil eine halbe bis Dreiviertelstunde entfernt mit dem Auto. Das Hinterland eignet sich zum Wandern, sowohl einfache als auch anspruchsvolle Wege können aus dem im Appartment ausliegenden Prospekten entnommen werden. Ein Auto ist unverzichtbar, um auch auswĂ€rtige Restaurants und LokalitĂ€ten zu erreichen. Ein Ausflug mit der FĂ€hre nach Varenna und Bellagio haben wir auch gemacht. Letzterer Ort hat uns allerdings etwas enttĂ€uscht ob der Vielzahl der Touristen. Menaggio war da deutlich angenehmer. FĂŒr einen Aufenthalt von einer Woche sehr empfehlenswert. Der Comer See war fĂŒr uns viel schöner als der grössere Gardasee. Die Absprache mit der Agentur bei der Ankunft und Abreise sowie Einweisung in die Unterkunft hat hervorragend geklappt. Die Agentur kam uns sehr mit unseren zeitlichen WĂŒnschen entgegen. Gemma war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert, vielen Dank nochmal dafĂŒr.

Amazing views, lots of space, high quality property

This property was exactly as advertised-beautiful views, great interior space, wonderful kitchen and a nice place to stay. The bathrooms had a lot of counter space and excellent water pressure in the showers. A few things to be aware of: there is no A/C, however we didn't need it with the great lake breezes and fans. There are a lot of stairs to get to the unit, and more stairs to climb to the pool above. There is also an elevator, but it is very slow-but it does work well for groceries and luggage. You only get one set of keys and you need those to even enter the property through the security gate. With two couples, this was a bit challenging. There is a way to walk down to town, but it is about 20 minutes and partially on the narrow road, plus it is quite an uphill climb coming back, so if you want to be able to walk everywhere, this may not be the property for you. We did find an excellent restaurant, Trattoria La Vecchia Magnolia, just an easy 10-min. walk away. Being on the western side of the lake was great because we got the morning sun, but not the hot afternoon sun, so it was always pleasant sitting on the balcony. Since it is an apartment, you will hear other people around you at times and must be careful about noise. Overall we had a fantastic vacation and have already recommended this unit to friends!

Wonderful appartment with a magnificent view across Lake Como

We stayed in this really nice and spacious apartment in early spring. Everything was working out great: booking, arrival, stay, departure. The apartment has a lot of space and the equipment is complete. The WLAN was very reliable (!) and heavily used by our kids. Best is though the view when you sit outside - that's something we are really missing now being home again. So we can highly recommend this - if we visit Lake Como again, we will definitely try to stay there again.

It was a very spacious penthouse with 3 nice coloured rooms opening into each other and overlooking the lake, quiet and save area, house is situated in the very nice small town Menaggio which can be reached by foot (but easier to take the car). Description of the facilities was fitting and Gemma the manager was very kind and brought us some missing glasses for our New Year champaign and a pot for tea and coffee to make this in a german style. A boot ferry is starting in Menaggio and Varenna and Bellagio can easily be visited. We liked our stay very much and really can recommend this penthouse.

Breathtaking

My husband and I absolutely loved the apartment and everything about it. I had arranged the trip to meet up with friends from Australia who we had not seen for years. With all the ooh's and arrh's of the view and the relaxed, serene feel you have made there, it was hard to leave. I know we will be back, even if it is just the two of us. Penthouse Apartment Menaggio with Panoramic views

We made a short stop over in Venice before driving on to Menaggio which was an amazing experience. We liaised with Gemma before arrival and were met in Menaggio and shown to our apartment. There is a garage with the apartment but we chose to park safely outside the block. The lift which is useful when you have shopping and luggage goes straight into the living area . When we first walked into the apartment we knew immediately we had it so right, absolutely stunning! Three good sized bedrooms (all with fans), lovely lounge with Sky TV, an amazing fully equipped kitchen and large dining area and of course good Wifi. The property was clean and well maintained. The views are breathtaking, two balconies one with sun beds and the other table and chairs. Every morning we would sit and have breakfast with the sun dancing across Lake Como. The pool has amazing views over the Lake with sun all day. It takes about 20 minutes to walk downhill into Menaggio to a lovely town with all amenities, supermarket, bars, restaurants, shops, chemist, petrol station. Highly recommend hiring a speed boat for an hour on the lake or to take the ferry over to Bellagio. We also had a day trip to the large town of Como and popped over the border to Switzerland for supper. The Penthouse Apartment is not only a fabulous base for your visit to Lake Como but enables you to relax and feel rested. We would definitely recommend it. A big thank you to all the team that we have corresponded with and the excellent communication.

Penthouse pleasure

We reserved this home as part of a two centre stay. Just as the other reviews mention, this home is truly a high spec apartment with unforgettable 180 degrees views. Italian apartments were excellent to deal with booking the home and even organised a welcome pack for our arrival. I agree the lift was a tad slow but came in handy on arrival and departure to transport the luggage and all my husbands golf clubs! The local golf club in Menaggio was much appreciated by my son and husband! The pool was surprisingly quiet especially during the week so we made good use of it. The home is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to the village so we are glad we hired a car but there is a bar, a couple of restaurants and pizzeria available 10 minutes walk from the home so did not need to use the car each time we ventured out. Often we cooked in as the kitchen is a housewives dream, so huge and a real focal point for the family during our stay. Excellent wifi and satellite which came in handy when it rained one of the afternoons during our stay. Thank you Gemma for all your help on arrival meeting us and sharing tips on the best restaurants and places to view, a little local knowledge goes a long way! All in all a wonderful holiday we will remember for many years to come.

Serenity Now

A really nice property with great views, and a rare working cook's kitchen. My wife is a cook and likes to take advantage of the local fare in order to whip up dishes that are indigenous to the region. It's usually a struggle because most homes we stay in are ill-equipped kitchen-wise. Not this one. It had everything she needed, plus enough room that the kitchen was like home: it became the hub of our activities at the apartment. The home was clean and comfortable, the wi-fi was better than expected, answers to our questions were immediate and thorough. Our only surprise was, when the weather heated up, we went to turn on the air conditioning and...uh...there ISN'T any! The home IS supplied with three portable fans, but just be aware that you'll be a little warmer than you might have anticipated if the weather warms up. The designated parking spot inside the gate is a daunting task because of the sloped parking lot; much easier to just park outside the structure. The elevator right to your door is convenient when hauling luggage or groceries, and the pool, despite being a common area, rarely featured more than my son and I shrieking from the cold plunge first thing in the morning. All in all, a very good choice of home, with quick access to any destinations in Lake Como. Menaggio itself is very relaxed and pleasant, a less touristy hub than some of the other towns. We'd recommend it to anybody looking for a nice place to stay.

Special 50th Birthday Celebrations

This holiday was arranged to celebrate my wife's 50th, and it was our first time to Lake Como. Unfortunately, our initial accommodation was unsuitable, owing to some unforeseen civil engineering works beginning around the time of our arrival at an adjacent property next to our apartment. Once this was reported to both Julie & Barrie they reacted with efficient haste to remedy the situation, and within an hour we were upgraded to the most wonderful location at no extra cost! We were escorted to a penthouse apartment of opulent luxury, which enjoyed unparalleled views of stunning Lake Como above Menaggio. Accommodation inc; 3 Bedrooms, Private lift, Swimming pool, and beautifully kitted out with every possible amenity and decorated to a high standard - a credit to the owner! As a company owner myself (who strives to provide high levels of customer care) I can do nothing more but to congratulate Barrie & Julie for their wonderful customer service; in particular Barrie for "arranging and cooking" our first meal for us upon on our arriva, and later booking a meal for us at a fantastic resturant on the lake during our stay. Genuine people and a wonderful location. When we were driving away (after handing back the key) my Mrs had tears rolling down her face with happiness, such was the impression the wonderful holiday experience had had on her. Amazing View!

We stayed for almost a week in September 2014 and it was the most incredible view! The villa was huge, comfortable, clean, and well beyond our expectations. It was a great launch point for numerous day trips.

Spectacular views High Spec Apt

A high spec Apt with truly spectacular views. NOT within realistic walking of centre of Menaggio but easy parking and a basic bakery and restaurants nearby. Pre ordered food items very useful for late arrival and were adequate. Responsive agent to resolve one or two shortcomings.Many stairs makes it unsuitable for elderly or infirmed. Built in lift too slow and cumbersome. Pool great with equally spectacular views but again many steps to reach it. Ok for us as we are used to stairs. Menaggio is a very good base with great position on lake Como. Would happily stay again if good deal available.

Family Time

We found the apartment in Menaggio on Via Belvedere great for our growing family. There were 3 children under 4 but the big friendly spaces made it easy for them to enjoy themselves. We could also keep an eye on them without having to follow them about which was relaxing. The kitchen was ENORMOUS, great for cooking, once you stop opening all the dozens of cupboards looking for things! Comfortable, warm and easy. The garage we avoided, just because we didn't like the tilt and angle (the car was on 3 wheels at one point facing downwards) but it's safe and easy enough to get to the cars. Menaggio is a good 15-20 min trek down, and hard work going up but do-able. We were disappointed to have not tried the local Trattoria that was highly recommended but the pizzeria further up the hill had tasty take away pizzas. Views and vistas from the apartment were so serene and peaceful it made up for the long hikes up from the village!

There are also three restaurants within 10 minutes walk of the home including a pizzeria for lazy evenings out as well as a plethora of restaurants here in the centre of Menaggio as you would expect from the lakes' principal town.

Our guests love the huge lake view kitchen plus comfortable lounge and separate dining room plus the attention to detail from the hand painted spacious wardrobes to the feature ceilings. Then there is THAT view!
There is a real local feel to the place. Meandering cobbled paths, a weekly market with superb local produce and seasonal ingredients, in additional to the pool at the home there is also a wonderful a lido with two swimming pools to take in the sun and relax.

We can recommend many authentic wine and cafe bars and superb home made gelateria to name just a few highlights.
