We loved everything about this stay! It was all clean, spacious, incredible view of the lake, close to everything in town, including the ferry, grocery, restaurants, beautiful walkway along the lake. Plus the advantage of getting all our daily steps in with…all the steps!

It is a lovely condo with a panoramic view but they are things you need to know before you get there. . . .The management company was rude and extremely unhelpful. Our recommendation to the owner is to change management companies.What the management company fails to tell you that the condo is up a steep hill requiring you, if you do not have a car, to walk in dangerous traffic with no sidewalks. Once you arrive, you have four more flights of stairs to walk up since there is no elevator. Anticipating our departure, we asked the management company if they would call a taxi for us. They refused to do that.

Great location and wonderful view. Never could get the WiFi to hold longer than a minute. Unless you are driving a very small car the garage space will not work.

Great stay!

I came with a group of friends, all in our 20s, check in was easy and the property was awesome. Super clear and easy instructions about checking in, how to get there, etc. Super quick, easy, and painless. Definitely a quirky old building with interesting layout but it worked well for us, we had a fantastic stay :)

Amazing views from this property. As a family of 5 we had tons of space. Was nice to have a dedicated covered parking spot. We had a station wagon but would not have wanted a bigger vehicle as the parking space would not have allowed for much bigger.

The apartment was very spacious , well-equipped, and check-in was a breeze. A couple minor things people should keep in mind: it’s not ideal for anyone with mobility issues (no elevator and lots of stairs), the jacuzzi clearly hasn’t worked in quite a while, washer w/ no drier (not unusual in Europe but worth noting, and all the lights in the rear bathroom were out (also looked like a longer term issue). All in all, it’s a decent value and Menaggio is a lovely little town.

Spacious and convenient. Beautiful views from the balcony/terrace. Very clean. The only bad things were that some lights were not working in the apartment, blinds were missing on certain windows, some rooms had a bit of a smell, and the parking spot was very small and difficult to get into and out of. But we enjoyed our stay a lot and the area is gorgeous!

The check-in process was terrible. The directions should have been provided at the time of booking so we could print the paperwork.We arrived via bus on a Sunday and had difficulty finding the office, which was closed. The property was up a very steep hill and no taxi was available. As senior citizens, we had a hard time hauling our heavy luggage up the hill, a couple flights of city stairs then 4 flights of stairs in the building. This should have been noted in the advertisement. The Wi-Fi was out 2 days which was a HUGE inconvenience.On a good note, aside from noted issues, the property was perfect, and the view of the lake was SPECTACULAR!

Great location in Menaggio

We loved staying in this apartment in Menaggio. It was a little challenging to find the correct apartment at first because the directions weren't very accurate. It was light and bright and well equipped. They forgot to give us bathroom amenities but fixed the problem as soon as they knew about it. There are a lot of stairs which we knew going in and was fine for us. Just a warning if that could be a problem for someone wanting to rent the apartment. So great having a parking spot! Such an easy walk to and from town!!!! We even enjoyed a couple fresh figs from an outside tree. We would stay here again.

Needs Sprucing up/no wifi

We arrived and there was a maintenance person fixing the leak under sink. No dish soap provided for daily dish cleaning. Needs a paint job. No Internet. There was a lot of mold in the bathroom with the shower, they fixed that. Wifi was never fixed. Too many stairs and the hall lighting was not available at the top of the stairs, only at the bottom. Too many un working light switches and in odd places. Diego was very helpful with taxi and early check in.(held our luggage for the afternoon.)

However, there were several issues during my stay, including the unresolved sink leak, lack of dish soap, broken Wi-Fi, poor lighting, and unpainted areas. Bella Menaggio Panoramica

We had a most wonderful time at your beautiful condo.  We were two couples and the condo worked out perfectly for us.  The view was magnificent and the access to the village and ferry was great.  The only negative we would mention is that there was no indication in the description that we had to climb so many stairs within the property.  We probably would not have taken the property had we known that.  It was a great difficulty on one of our party, but we managed because we were there.  I think it would only be fair to mention that for some infirm folks who would not be able to make the climb. We had a few questions (working of the clothes washer, garbage disposal) and went to the office and all was taken care of - everyone was extremely helpful and kind. We went to many restaurants in Menaggio and must say that all were wonderful.  It was so easy to take the ferry to Varenna and Bellagio.  Restaurants there were equally enjoyable.  We enjoyed driving down to Tremezzo to visit Villa Carlotta and had a lovely day trip to Lugano.  It was a perfect holiday - our weather was beautfful (it rained the week before we came and it started again the morning we left - we were blessed). Des améliorations à apporter au logement

matelas "fatigués" très inconfortables surtout les deux lits doubles ; volet et store d'un velux de chambre cassés (hyper chaud, encore plus difficile de dormir) ; absence de parasols (il y avait les pieds !) ; plusieurs prises de courant ne fonctionnaient pas ; pas de rideau et/ou volet à la baie vitrée de la pièce principale = chaleur excessive ; les clés des salles de bains dysfonctionnent (éviter de les fermer au risque d'y rester bloqué). La température dans l'appartement n'est pas descendue en dessous de 30°, heureusement qu'il y avait plusieurs ventilateurs. Sinon appartement agréable, en particulier la pièce principale. Parking couvert appréciable (véhicule au frais) mais très difficile de s'y garer (poteaux imposants très mal situés). Cage d'escalier très propre. Accueil à l'Agence Parfait. Nous reviendrons volontiers dans cette très belle région

Schöne Lage, miserabler Service

Grundsätzlich geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit guter Küchenausstattung und wunderschönem Blick über den See. Das eine von drei Schafzimmern, einen ungemütlichen Dachverschlag, mussten wir gottseidank nicht nutzen. Der Service vor Ort war leider eine Frechheit. Keine Begrüßung in der Wohnung, man musste den Schlüssel in der Agentur zu Fuß (keine Parkmöglichkeit) abholen bzw. abgeben. Dort blasiertes und unfreundliches Personal, keinerlei Instruktionen oder Tipps. Das Schlimmste: Ein Bad war völlig verschimmelt, aus der Dusche kam das Wasser nur als Rinnsal. Ein Schafzimmer roch muffig. Das WLAN funktionierte nicht. Zwei entsprechende Beschwerdemails an den Vermieter wurden nicht beantwortet. Unter dem Strich eine unverschämte Touristen-Abzocke.

Como is beautiful

Great location on Lake Como. Less touristy then Bellagio but with just as much character. Short walk to restaurants, shops and boat rentals as well as the ferry. Checkin would’ve been a bit easier at the building site but understand the logistics would be more difficult to coordinate (you’re most likely getting there by car so it wasn’t the easiest place to stop and get the keys). Good supply of towels and place was clean; view off balcony makes us want to come back!

Fabulous property

The property is fabulous, spacious, spotless, well appointed. You will need a car to get there. The property mgmt company is top class, very responsive, very accommodating, and helpful.

Fantastic View with short walk downhill to center of city/ferries

The apartment was spectacular, especially the view from the terrace! Although no AC the fans greatly helped and were in each room. There are 75 steps to the apartment after walking up a hill from the city center (10 minutes each way). This is not difficult but should be mentioned. Not fun to bring luggage up though. It was much appreciated to have the croissants were very nice and the prosecco was fantastic! It would have been great to have bottled water. Also there were no paper towels of even a sponge to wash dishes with. Complaints were Management Office issues: -Procuring Keys, the directions from the Ferry were 'upside down' on map when one reads a map as North is up (right turn) and south is down (left turn) -directions to property had no street number listed (had to look at photographs. -Key to gate was not at the Gate but on the road leading into property (this should have been mentioned). -The actual Key to apartment was not the one told to me for the front door, thank goodness the proper key was on the key chain! -The actual front door was not the one of three doors that was on the right (marked on photograph), but on the left.(minor of course, but after all the other issues, this was another irritation) -wifi was not activated even though I asked for wifi info at check-in. I had to wait until the next day and walk down to office where it was flippantly mentioned they would "reup" the wifi. Why wasn't it done when I checked in for the week? This was extremely inconvenient as i had family coming and could not contact them unless I was at a restaurant.
