RÉCEMMENT RÉNOVÉ! La propriété Westwind a fait l'objet d'une rénovation de 4 M $ pour commencer la saison de ski 18/19! Vue imprenable sur le mont Vail depuis votre balcon au troisième étage de cet emplacement de Lionshead Village. Westwind bénéficie d'un nouveau bain à remous et d'une piscine ouverts toute l'année. Il est situé au cœur du village de Lionshead. Vous pouvez facilement marcher jusqu'à l'école de ski de Vail, la télécabine Eagle-Bahn, le télésiège 8, les restaurants, les bars et les magasins de vente au détail de Lionshead et de Vail. Comfy Condo in a great location

Clean and comfortable and convenient location to Lionshead village

The property looks like the photos in the listing and is conveniently located in Lionshead Village. The property management was helpful and very responsive. The only downside is that you can hear noise from the highway.

Wonderful Condo!

This condo was great to host three adults and a child. It could easily fit another adult and child. It was very clean. It's always important to us when we go skiing to have a full kitchen so we can eat breakfast and lunch there. This kitchen did not disappoint. It has everything you need to cook full meals, was updated, and clean. The gas fireplace really added to the coziness of the living room where everyone gathered at the end of the day. The heated pool was perfect for kids that are too little for the hot tub, but still want to hang out after skiing. The facility overall was very easy to navigate from the lobby to the garage to the locker room to the pool/hot tub. The locker was the biggest we have ever had. It easily fit everyone's gear and most importantly it had a key code lock. That doesn't seem like a big deal, but when everyone splits up during the day and comes back to the condo at different times, its nice for everyone to be able to access the locker without a physical key. The location was no more than a four minute walk to the lift, gondola, and restaurants in Lions head Village. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this condo.

Clean, modern and convenient to Lionshead Village, some negatives

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was modern, updated, very nice, and clean. The location was very convenient to Lionshead Village, walk out parking garage and enter village. The view from the small balcony was pretty of the mountains. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The negatives are there is no AC and it gets pretty hot in the summer, if you open the windows, which was a must for nightime, there is a lot of interstate 70 noise. The master bathroom shower door would not stay closed, the shower faucet would not stay centered, and there is bat guano (poop) all over the balcony and ledge as well as as around the pool and hot tub. They have an infestation problem that needs to be resolved since guano can be very toxic. We tried cleaning it off of balcony each day, but everyday there was more.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very Nice place but simply too loud due to the highway traffic at night. No air conditioning meant it was very warm at night. We did receive a fan from the management company and that helped a lot.

Ski trip with friends

We had six friends traveling for a ski trip. The property is in an ideal location. There is a large heated pool, and the hot tub was very spacious as well. We rarely needed to discuss anything with the property management since check in didn’t require it, but they were very friendly and helpful when we did.

It's clean, modern, and a very short walk to the gondola -- could not have been more convenient. And the bedroom configuration worked well for a family of 4, because each of our kids got their own bed. The rental folks were helpful and everything went smoothly. All good - we would definitely stay here again if our travels took us back to Vail!
