Amusant pour tous, cet appartement familial de 4 chambres, 2. 5 salles de bain, 2700 pieds carrés est lumineux et confortable avec une grande terrasse couverte et une cheminée extérieure. Parfait pour organiser des réunions de vacances et avec la commodité supplémentaire d'un paysage de jeu, d'un air hockey et de plusieurs jeux pour tous les âges (voir la liste ci-dessous). Ce quartier sûr offre de grandes voies pour faire du vélo ou essayer les deux scooters électriques fournis! Le quartier est également idéalement situé pour accéder à plusieurs points d’accès de la Ceinture de verdure, cinémas et plus encore énumérés ci-dessous. Un des lits king convertit en deux lits jumeaux, permettant à cette maison de dormir 6 séparément. Paire cette maison avec une maison voisine de Treemont pour les grands groupes.

Return visit because we like this place

This place is clean, comfortable, convenient, and in a safe location. The owner is friendly, and prompt in communication. We stayed here last year for the Formula One race weekend, and it was positive enough for us to wish to return. We’re delighted that we did. The owner Eric, wasn’t intrusive, but touched base to make sure everything was ok and that we had what we needed (we did).

The house was big and comfortable for our family. The location was perfect. Pinball machine was a huge hit. Only weird thing in my opinion is that it’s the owners primary home. I’ve always stayed at someone’s vacation home. Their clothes were hung in the closet and in the drawers. Other than that it was great. Eric was very accommodating.

Thousand Oaks is a large, well-equipped house that made it easy to feel like you are home.

We were delighted when we arrived by all the details that made us feel welcome. For example the house was decorated for Christmas, each bedroom had a welcome note, and there were instructions on how to operate the various appliances in the house. The large open floor plan was conducive to family gatherings. We had 13 people gathered around the Christmas tree and it was fine. Most even had comfy chairs. The kitchen is well-equipped. We prepared several feasts and we could always find what we needed including everything from lots of silverware to pizza cutters. We were lucky that one of the bedrooms was downstairs when one of our family broke her foot and couldn’t make it upstairs. The other three bedrooms are on the second floor and share one bathroom, which was a little tight. The backyard is amazing, but the weather didn’t allow us to make full use of it. We did have a wonderful fire in the backyard fireplace, which was lovely. The play set is great and we wished the weather allowed us to use it more. One funny thing that I would warn you about - there is a salt grinder-like thing that is filled with artificial sweetener. Don’t use it for salt :-) I would highly recommend this house.

Fun and comfy house!

We had such a lovely wedding weekend at this house. So many memories were created with the fun game options and everyone was beyond comfortable! Couldn’t ask for a better stay😊

Amazing location and great property

Seven of us friends stayed here for a weekend. the house was everything we saw on VRBO and as was listed. We had no trouble with check in or during the stay. Eric was just a message away and he kept checking in. Definitely will recommend and stay here if i happen to visit Austin again. Thanks Eric.

Great location and property.

Eric's house was a great spot for our group. Awesome backyard and fire pit setup. Everything was as advertised. The location is close to everything we wanted to do in Austin, as well. Eric was very responsive with any questions and made sure our stay went as planned.

Quiet neighborhood great location

We had an excellent weekend in Austin. The house was very clean and comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood with good highway access. Pinball and darts were fun. Would stay again next time I am in Austin.

Nice location, confusing experience

Our group was very excited for this house due to its location, amenities and great reviews. Once we got to the VRBO, we found that the state of the house was not consistent with what we saw online. The game table (which was supposed to be a highlight of the house) was completely broken and if you touched it, the table would collapse. The outside playground was leaning over heavily and looked like it would easily fall over. We were a group of 8 people but barely had enough towels for everyone. When we tried to reach out to the owner via message and phone call, we were unable to get in touch to ask questions. Upon check out, there were no instructions on what we need to do in order to make clean up easy for the crew that prepares this location for the next tenants. On a positive note, this VRBO is in a nice and quiet location. Easy access to downtown, a mall, grocery store. Plenty of room for 8 adults and the kitchen was well stocked.

Family Friendly Home

Great location with close proximity to everything Austin has to offer. The house was clean and fully stocked for all your needs. Loaded with family friendly games, arcades, toys and books. With a lovely patio for everyone to enjoy.

We needed a place with good proximity to downtown, parks, and walkable areas that was also comfortable. It met all our needs. House was clean and very fun. Loved having dinner on the back deck.

Stay here ! Excellent owner, property, and location !

Excellent owner, property, and location ! Great, timely and considerate communication with the Owner, too !! We enjoyed our stay; lots of fun for the kids, and lovely deck and outdoor fireplace for relaxing. Quiet neighborhood, great location close to downtown Austin as well as everywhere else, including Zilker Park, The Oasis, shops, etc. Stay here for a great time in Austin !!!

Nice house close to town

This was a nice property close to a lot of activities in downtown Austin. It’s location is perfect for easy access to hiking, kayaking and shopping. The kids enjoyed the games and air hockey table. House is a little old and could use some updating.

Austin Golf Outing

Myself and seven of my golfing buddies came into Austin for a golf outing. The location of the house was close to everything you need. The back deck was awesome to hangout and converse. The pinball machine was a HUGE HIT!!!! I have never stayed at a perfect VRBO especially with 8 grown men, but this house was darn close. We had a great time!!!!

Our "Awaycation Staycation"

Because of COVID, we were worried about taking our trip to Austin. This home was the perfect solution for an "awaycation staycation." The house had plenty of games to play and was a great location. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We were able to go to some restaurants (Scholz Garten was our favorite and the reason we came to Austin as it is the oldest pub in Texas) and never had to wait more than 10 minutes for an UBER. Social distancing and mask wearing were being followed very well in Austin. We took advantage of Insta Cart and Uber Eats with many options and food was still hot when delivered. Eric was easy to contact if needed and was very helpful and understanding of our needs with the COVID restrictions. We had a great time and a much needed vacation.

Weekend in Austin

We had a great time staying at Eric's house for the weekend. Candidly, the house is a bit older than the pictures make it seem but it was plenty clean and had all of the amenities that were listed. The location was perfect and we didn't have a single issue!

Great House, Great Neighborhood!

Our stay at the Thousand Oaks Home was very nice! We were in Austin for a long weekend to attend a family wedding. The house was well appointed, maintained and clean. The back yard is well shaded with big beautiful trees. The exterior was not as clean as the inside, but I guess you're not sleeping on the patio - but it could use a good power washing. What we enjoyed: The well equipped kitchen Comfortable beds Fresh smelling linens and bedding Quiet Neighborhood Outside covered deck Shady backyard Areas in need of improvement: Cleanliness of exterior house and patio furniture

Perfect Vacation Home

The home is perfect! Our group enjoyed our long weekend there immensely! We relaxed on the patio and played darts all night. The pin ball machine was great too! Cant say enough about this house. It was perfect and we will definitely be renting it again in the future.
