Plenty of room and beds to comfortably sleep out group of 13. Had some issues w AC the first night but other than that the property was great for us. Pool is very nice. Had the chef cook for us one night and that was great eating out on the back deck. Views were great and access to Florence and wine regions was great. Temps were lovely in late May, mid 70s
What a memorable week we had in this house! Weâve never before been in an historic house with a chapel â fascinating! We were 7 adults (grandparents, siblings and spouses) and six grandchildren (ages 6-11). We easily survived the heat wave by making good use of the generous pool and the large cool house. Side trips to Florence (early in the morning!), Pisa and even to the beach were no problem. Easy contact with Marisol for any questions. A successful family vacation!
We loved the place. A little difficult to find (initially). This gave us privacy. It was also close enough to Firenze to be parked and in town in less than a half an hour. Air conditioned bedrooms allowed sleeping even when it was over 80F. We spent a week and would have loved to spend a longer time. The wonderful pool was a welcome on days that were over 90. High ceilings in the living room with lots of space made it very comfortable. Was very clean and well maintained. I recommend this great place to families a group of good friends . Loved it.
My family and I stayed the week at the lovely villa in Oleandro. The property was beautiful and a perfect location to explore Florence and the surrounding Tuscan countryside! The villa is remote with typical narrow roads, but unique in that it is part of a smaller community with an old chapel and is surrounded by olive groves. We enjoyed swimming in the pool every afternoon and ate family dinners on the serene patio where we could enjoy the amazing Tuscan sunset. Rita, the property owner was very helpful and responsive and Marisol the caretaker was readily available to assist and answer any of our questions. We would happily return to this beautiful property in the future.
Beautiful home both inside and out.
Beautiful views.
Relaxing country estate.
Perfect for family gatherings.
Kitchen very well appointed.
The owner and guardian of the villa are terrific - very responsive and readily available. They are eager to ensure a pleasant stay.
The villa is on a limited access road which allows you to feel fully immersed in the Italian countryside.
This villa is even more than as advertised and we had a wonderful stay,
We brought our children and their children for a once in a lifetime trip together to Italy. We began planning our trip Christmas 2018 to take place summer 2020. Well no one traveled anywhere that year. But it happened this year, 2022! We were more than pleased with Rita and Bernard's villa. Location was perfect for all the things we wanted to see in Tuscany! There was lots of space for everyone , kitchen was well equipped, we ate our meals together at the large table outside, and had fun in the large pool after a hot day sightseeing. Food shopping was easy to find. If you are looking for a lovely villa to accommodate a large group, this is it!
This house is in the middle of Tuscany surrounded by olive groves and has a fantastic pool area. The house is large and has a perfect terrace area for enjoying meals and relaxing. We had some issues calling for a taxi but then were told we should download 'AppTaxi' and, once we did that, it was easy. Marisol, the manager, was great and very responsive to whatever we needed. She prepared a dinner for us one night that was fantastic.
Great house for cheap holiday for 20 people but the house was not clean enough, too furnished of personal belongings, there is a huge problem of mosquitoes.
But the overall stay was wonderful, we could be 20 people without feeling one on the other.
Charming house with everything you need to enjoy the italian 'far niente'
House is perfectly located, in the heart of Tuscany countryside, but at the same time close to florence to visit the city. It is very well equipped to enjoy your vacations if you are a group or a family. Pool and the view make the most of it! :)
We had a wonderful week in this beautiful Villa with stunning views, the perfect location for Florence and in our case a wedding at Villa Corsini a short drive away.
Rita organised everything wonderfully well, we had provisions on arrival (pre booked) and a delightful Lasagne cooked by the very helpful housekeeper who also later in our stay doubled up as chauffeur ferrying us all home safely from the wedding in the early hours.
We had an amazing time and would wholeheartedly recommend this Villa
With friends and our children; 8 adults and 8 children( from 11-20 years) we had a really nice time Together in this House.

Charming and relaxing
We travelled with the extended family of 14 and had a lovely time. The house was well equipped, the pool was super and the sunset was beautiful every evening. The caretakers, Marisol and her husband, was very helpful and service minded and conveniently situated next door. The location is good for travellers with a car as it is a good starting point for travelling the countryside in Tuscany. Would highly recommend staying in the villa!
Just a small comment: a layout of the bedrooms should be included in the pictures/illustrations as the description is slightly misleading. The guesthouse had only possibility of 3 beds, not 4 as was stated in the description.
2 weeks in Italy with 14 family members (4 teenagers): one week based in this well loved and cared for Tuscan villa with fabulous views. It felt like home with beautiful plants, international decor and art work, music and stereo on which we loved to play classical music in the back ground as we ate appetizers out on the loggia. Our favorite was the loggia, where we hung out eating breakfast, appetizers and dinner even if it was rainy.
Rita, the owner was very responsive and has a super sweet caretaker who also helped us tremendously... including with translating our preferences to a hired chef for our evening meals. The chef was also flexible and incredibly talented (including making our leftovers into other delicious meals). Having her allowed us more family relaxation time as she prepared aromatic Tuscan dinners. And it was more economical than going out to dinner. Our only challenge: Bring a set of ear plugs in case the neighborhood dog is up early but don't let this be a deterrence.
The road to the villa is a challenge if you use the GPS instead of Rita's instructions... especially if you don't have a small car. We found the back way (the road that leads to Impruneta) as being an easier way to get to the villa from Florence (but much easier to miss the first time) and is also more picturesque. We loved the convenience to Florence and we would also have been content had we had just stayed at the villa the whole time! Thank you for a the highlight of our trip Rita.
We visited the villa in the end of August with a group of eight friends. A very hot period, fortunately the pool provided a lot of coolness. The rooms were cool as well thanks to the A/C in every room. With Florence, Impruneta and Galluzzo right around the corner groceries and sightseeing were easy to arrange (renting a car mandatory, we did rent one car for groceries and visited Florence with the car and one taxi). But we did not visit Florence as much as we planned, as the villa provided us almost everything we needed to have a wonderful holiday. The guardian, Marisol, was very kind and checked up on us every once in a while if we needed something. Besides that, we had nice contact with the owner, Rita, who provided us with a lot of information about both the villa and the neighborhood .
I would definitely recommend this villa to everyone, this kind of villa in this kind of authentic tuscan environment provides you a wonderful stay for your holidays.
We were 3 families, in total 12 persons (6 adults, 6 children) from Norway, who were renting the villa for two weeks, July 2015. All renting arrangements and contractual issues were smoothly setup by owner. Upon arrival we were well taken care of by the guardian living next door. Easy to contact in case questions popped up when we were stating there.
During our stay we had an excellent weather, inviting to sunbathing and pool activity, but also various trips to nearby cities and of course beautiful Florence only a 15 minutes drive from the location. As there are some distance (approx. 2 km) to nearest main road, I would recommend people who rent the villa to have access to car. For people who like would like to walk to the main road, bus is a good alternative for traveling to Florence.
We will for sure recommend others to rent the villa.

We rented this villa for a week in July 2014, for four adults and 2 children. The villa is great, and just as the pictures described. The kids loved the pool and the outside terrace with the table was great for dinners and nighttime cocktails watching the sun set over the hills. The location was perfect - 10 km from Florence and closer to Imprunetta, which was a nice little town with good restaurants. The house is very large, as we had a spare bedroom we did not use as well as the guesthouse by the pool. The owner was very friendly and helpful, as well as the local housekeeper. We would definitley recommend this villa.
Thanks - Jon, Chicago, USA
We loved the big house with all its facilities, the very spacious rooms, the AC, the efficient weekly care by the housekeeper, the covered terrace and the wonderful swimmingpool. Also the location so near Florence and other places of interest was a great asset to the house.Perhaps the indications to get to the location could have been more exact. A recommandable place to stay!
Beautiful place. Ideal location for full or half day trips to Florence, Chianti vineyards, Siena, Sangiminano & Pisa with afternoon by pool and later Tuscan sunsets.
Experianced drivers with small car recommended.
My friends and I rented this property for one week and we had a fantastic time. The house is not only beautiful and absolutely charming but it is also big, spacious, and very functional with many bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a wifi connection, a large patio with a big dining table etc... The highlight is the perfect swimming pool and of course, the amazing view ! The house is located in the heights of Florence, in the middle of olive trees fields, which makes it an ideal location. Very quiet and peaceful environment but very close to Florence at the same time. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a villa in the area.

Because one can enjoy both Florence life and the countryside which is wonderful in this area of Italy. It is ideal for short visits to surrounding areas such as Siena, San Gemignano, Certaldo, but also to go to the seaside in less than an hour, Rome or Venice in two hours etc etc There is a golf course nearby, wine trips in Chianti region, tennis courts hunting etc etc There is also a consecrated Catholic Chapel which can be used on special demand for Catholic functions.
Its proximity to Florence, the space of a countryhouse. Its accessibility, next to the major communication arteries (Highway Rome Venice, Genova, Siena) We fell in love with our home, because it is settled in a tiny picturesque village,it has beautifull views from the living room, or the arched entryway. It has a porch-veranda which is an outside living room where we spend most of the days in summer, which continue with an open terrace overlooking the garden and the pool.
