Situé à l'extrême sud du centre-ville, ce pittoresque petit cottage se trouve toujours dans le quartier historique, mais est le plus proche d'Airbnb à Fort Benning. 2BR et 2xbath avec un canapé-lit, cette maison peut accueillir 6 personnes. La cuisine est entièrement équipée et il y a une superbe cour arrière clôturée, parfaite pour recevoir et laisser les animaux courir! Comprend également laveuse et sécheuse, ce qui fait de cet endroit un endroit parfait pour des séjours courts ou longs. Beaucoup de stationnement. Beaucoup de charme historique, et la proximité et les commodités sont imbattables!Le joli porche mène au salon à aire ouverte et à la cuisine / salle à manger qui s'étend sur toute la longueur de la maison.

Le salon comprend un canapé-lit, une télévision de 50 pouces, une connexion Wi-Fi, un Roku et plusieurs jeux de société.

1x King Master bedroom et une autre chambre de la Reine. 2x salles de bains.

Convenient and Clean

This property was a short distance from Fort Moore and The National Infantry Museum. Several restaurants and grocery stores nearby. A nice place to stay for graduations.

I really recommend this house for your trip! The location is close by to a variety of things and only 13 minutes from Fort Moore. It had everything we could have needed. I wish it had been a little cleaner inside and outside, but truly a minor issue.

This property was cozy clean and located close to many things to do and restaurants. The management company was easy to get in touch with and very helpful. Even when I made an error they were very accommodating and kind. Couldn't have ask for more. Great stay.

quick trip to Benning and wanted a location close to post as well as downtown. This has both. Can walk to downtown and quick access to Benning. Communication with Joe was excellent - easy check in. Will stay again.

Everything was perfect for a 3-5 day stay. Convenient location to Fort Benning. The walk to old downtown was great. Make sure you try Mabellas! The house is located near a busy street that took some getting used to the first night but overall great experience for our needs

I would recommend

It was very nice being able to stay at a house and visit with our soldier and not a hotel room. We were able to bring our dog and that made things so much easier as well! It was an easy trip to Ft. Benning and that helped.

Don't Stay Here

This property is old and is located in a very run-down section of Columbus. The sofa is full of stains and was disgusting to look at, much less sit on. The beds were not properly made and were full of small flying bugs. My daughter started crying shortly after we arrived. We left after about an hour of our arrival. It was too disgusting to stay at.

Mixed Experience: Convenient Location but Room for Improvement

During our stay, we encountered a few issues, but the property managers were prompt in addressing some of them, such as inadequate toilet paper supply (she helped us locate at least 1/3 of a roll). Unfortunately, cleanliness was an ongoing concern (such as the nightstands, bathroom shower, and the condition of the couch). Additionally, the backyard also posed some hazards with cigarette butts, shards of glass, and rusty metal sticking out of the ground. The grille outside was dirty and unusable, with old burger patties still in it. The neighborhood also left something to be desired. Despite these drawbacks, the location served its purpose and was conveniently central to our activities. Overall, while the experience was mixed, it got the job done for our stay.

Almost perfect

The check-in process was simple. However, I asked and never received a response about the check-out process. One thing that should absolutely be considered is a clean-up of the backyard and an updated/safe deck with useable furniture. The chairs are quite rusty. We couldn't use the backyard at all. It is so overgrown and there are leaves everywhere. Also, in the write-up it's mentioned that this is a 3BR place when it only has 2BR. Also, some TLC in the bathroom off of the kitchen would help. The shower head leaks and so does the toilet. I really like the house....but it does need some TLC in those areas mentioned above.

Charming and cute home with pros and cons

Home is very charming with a ton of character! My husband I and stayed here for a weekend with our 2 sons. First the pros - very convenient location was the highlight! We really loved being so close to downtown. Has off street parking and the back deck is very private. Charming original hardwood floors in main section of the home- lots of character with very high ceilings through the entire home. The bedrooms were as advertised in the photos. Laundry was very convenient. The house was well cleaned in most of the highly-used spaces. The cons - the neighborhood was a bit transitional (some very well kept, some more sketchy), the kitchen was so-so in supplies (lots of plates but only 1 usable bowl, not very many cups), dishwasher was extremely loud. The home could use a good deep cleaning (higher fixtures and drapes were very dusty) and the couch was very stained. It was fairly noisy at night with road noise and music which was not an issue for us but might be for some. Overall, I’d stay here again with its great location.

Great house but not the historic section you would think.

Didn’t know it was next door to a drive through package store and bar. Very loud at night but loved the house. Back porch is a hazard with kissing rotten boards. Served my purpose of seeing my military son.

Columbus Cottage

The house was adorable, very clean and well decorated. We didn't spend a lot of time there as we were in Columbus to see the Georgia Girls Softball Championship tournament. The house is conveniently located to the softball complex. I do have to add one negative, not about the house, but the supplies that I am accustomed to seeing in a VRBO. There was toilet paper in one bathroom but not in the second. We couldn't find an extra roll anywhere. There was was no shower gel or bath soap provided, so we used the liquid hand soap for our showers. Also, there was no kitchen garbage bag provided so we gathered up our garbage into a box we had brought with us. The rental agreement stated that the homeowner provides only an initial starter kit, which may be a discrepancy between their understanding and mine. Overall, it was a comfortable stay for the short time we were there.

Located at the far south side of Uptown, this quaint little cottage is still in historic district, but closest Airbnb to Fort Benning. 2BR and 2xbath with pullout couch, this house sleeps 6. Kitchen is fully equipped and there is a great fenced backyard perfect for entertaining and letting pets run around! Also includes washer and dryer, which makes this place a perfect spot for short or long stays.
