Great location , many great restaurants , beautiful view of ocean, right on beach . Condo just had some upgrades .. owner easy to contact and quick to reply..

Lack of communication

To summarize our poor experience at the tides, we booked a condo expecting the condo in the images provided. We got a totally different room on a different floor with a view of construction in the building next door. There was no heads up that our original room was occupied by the owner supposedly. That was incredibly selfish and insensitive to us as the guests, we are paying for a certain unit only to be thrown in a ugly dirty unit with not enough beds. We left the unit almost immediately because the shower was beyond dirty and we can only imagine how filthy the sheets actually are or when they were last washed. I had to speak on the phone with Vrbo to get a full refund for the inconvenience & even had a 3 way call with the host. The host begged me not to leave this review but we do not want others to experience what we did. We wasted an entire evening trying to find somewhere else to stay and on hold to get our money back, the whole situation was unprofessional & disappointing. If you are going to compensate a guest, you give them something better not worse, please do better in the future.

2024 Tides Stay

This was our 10th year staying at the Tides and second year in this condo. Fabiana ( the owner) was helpful and easy to communicate with as were her associates Alexia and Claudia. The condo is right on the ocean, comfortable and has a “million dollar view” from the balcony. Were looking forward to hopefully returning next year!

good location

I choose Tides mainly because of location,with small kids very convenient to stay with a direct beach access. Condo is overall good. There are some things which need to be fixed , but it does not spoil your vacation .Vents in the kitchen can be cleaned , sofa in the living room is not comfortable, do not rely on this bed if you consider to sleep on it) We enjoyed our stay Thank you.

Amazing location

Great property right on the beach. Check-in was a lot, but Claudia was there to help us walk through it! Many others I talked to had to figure it all out themselves. Thank you for a great beach vacation!

Snow Bird Stay

Nice condo! Beautiful balcony view of Ocean, Sunrise,Pool and Palms! Beach .. down elevator 100ft out door! Nearby restaurants , casinos and Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. Lively atmosphere. Owner Fabiana and assistant Claudia very helpful and efficient!

A week in Hollywood

Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The pool and the beach are both very nice. The condo was very well equipped with blankets and beach chairs. If you are looking for someplace to stay on the ocean with a nice pool, and within 20 to 30 minutes of other larger cities, I would recommend staying here.

Cozy condo with a beautiful view

When I first booked, Fabiana was prompt in accepting and responding to all messages. She even okayed an early check in since our flight was arriving so early. The check in process was a little crazy and kind of difficult to navigate (the way the building does things), but Claudia was very nice and helpful. First, we had to go to an office and pay for the parking and the fob for the building. You only get one fob and the $30 is non refundable. Once you get that, you are able to park in the lot or in the parking garage. You must have the fob to enter the building, to enter the elevator lobby, and for the pool and beach entry. We got up to the condo and it was very clean and well maintained. It had a lot of amenities that weren’t mentioned in the description (beach cart, umbrella, beach toys, beach towels, ice chest, pack n play). The view of the beach and the pool is great and definitely exceeded expectation. The condo has quick access to the pool and the beach and there is also a gym on the lobby level. The trash room/laundry room is conveniently located on the same floor as the room. The condo is conveniently located within walking distance to some great restaurants and the main road. The only issues we ran into was that there weren’t enough paper towels/trash bags to use (we brought our three kids so we go through a lot) and you can definitely hear the people above you and in the hallway moving around/conversing. I’m a very light sleeper and this kept me up and woke the baby a few times. Other than that, everything was great. Would definitely recommend to most people, especially if you aren’t traveling with a baby! We loved it and enjoyed the place.

They made me leave before my check out date and ruined my vacation.

They made me leave early due to something wrong with the shower and the faucets in the bathroom leaking to the floor under us (apparently) and they offered us a cheaper room than I had paid for in an entire different building, and the room they tried to offer also had roaches in it and was dirty, overall a bad experience as they made us leave early and wasted our time and ruined our vacation.

Weekend getaway for a friend's 60th

This was a well maintained condo with an amazing pool and ocean view. Claudia was wonderful to work with and helped make check in easier. Quite a supply of coolers and beach items as well as beach towels. Beds were low to the ground, but very comfy. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for the great weekend!

Very clean and comfortable

First, Fabiana (owner) and Claudia (contact) was very responsive and helpful with any and all questions! This place was very clean and well taken care of. The pictures are exactly as advertised, and this unit has the perfect view. The few things I didn't care for, was some of the actual Hotel commons area's rules, but every establishment has rules, so it we just did what we needed, to not be "that person"! Over all we had a great week's stay in a very clean beautiful unit! We would stay there again if we come back to the Hollywood area. The check in process, parking and the FOB's was a bit different than what we've experienced in the past at other vacation rentals, but we figured out how it all worked and just went on with our vacation. In the end it's a very safe and clean location, and would recommend this unit owner to anyone! These ladies was great to work with!

The property is spacious. The kitchen size is perfect. Maybe another bathroom with shower would not hurt.

Great location

Extremely convenient and beautiful apartment in the heart of Hollywood. Nice view of the ocean and apartment was well equipped. I would recommend to family and friends.

Pictures are very accurate. The view is amazing. The beds were comfy. The pool is great as is the beach. Would definitely rent this property again.

Great property and location

Our unit had an amazing ocean view from the balcony, it’s best feature. There were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas that were available to use along with a small cooler. Plenty of cookware, dishes, blender, wine/bottle opener. The beds were comfortable. The check in process was a little different than what we are used to, but this could be due to the fact of covid restrictions and individually owned units . Communication was fantastic and we were able to check in sooner than expected. Pools closed at dusk so that was a little disappointing since this was around 6 pm.

Not worth it! Don’t go cheap and get this one

I live in south FL and my husband and I take our children to get rentals by the beach often. This was a very underwhelming experience. The only positive thing about this experience is that the property actually is on the beach. The list of negatives is long. There were ANTS EVERYWHERE, I didn’t notice them until the second day as they were crawling the perimeter of apartment. The place was not properly cleaned prior to arrival, scuffs everywhere on walls and vents looked disgusting to the naked eye. (Note the nasty vent in the kitchen and the one in the bathroom). In addition the tub is stained and looks a little nasty to bathe children in. This place needs some serious TLC. As if all this wasn’t bad enough I decided to leave a day early, having ants and a toddler around is just too much. To my dismay they charged ME an additional cleaning fee ?!?! They said the laundry smelled like “marihuana” and because they don’t speak English well and I’m at the mercy of vrbo, I’m stuck paying an additional cleaning fee for a nasty apartment. Don’t do it. I couldn’t last 4 whole nights there. Additionally if you can’t properly communicate with owner because of language barrier, don’t do it. I should’ve seen this coming from the very beginning...
