Alors que nous entamons notre quatriĂšme annĂ©e avec les locations de vacances, notre objectif reste le mĂȘme: fournir Ă  nos clients un endroit sĂ»r pour rester et un hĂ©bergement super propre. En plus de cela, nous veillons sur vous
 nous allumons des lumiĂšres supplĂ©mentaires lorsque vous allez et venez et nous vous aiderons avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pendant que vous ĂȘtes ici. Comme beaucoup de nos clients l'ont dĂ©clarĂ© dans leurs commentaires, nous sommes proches et facilement accessibles de tout dans la rĂ©gion d'Asheville. En plus d’Asheville, nous sommes Ă  mi-chemin entre Black Mountain et Cherokee dans les Great Smoky Mountains. This was a great place to stay for a little weekend getaway. Ken and Patty were very kind & helpful getting us settled in and giving recommendations for our weekend. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location made it easy for us to access where we wanted to visit in Asheville while also being a good place to rest. Note that there is not the best sound-proofing between the room and the main house, so we did hear a bit, mainly during the day/evening. It wasn't super disruptive, but may be helpful to know for others exploring a place to stay.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. Ken and Patti were friendly, attentive hosts and very responsive. The space was very clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, and the AC unit worked well and was really quiet. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and the nicely landscaped yard.

A Bit o'Fun

The Top O'the Knob is just as described. It was a tranquil location to use as home base while visiting the area. Ken and Patti greeted me warmly when I arrived.

A Gem of a Place

It's a lovely bnb, truly living up to it's name "Top of the Knob". I found the driveway a little intimidating getting in and out but it was worth the effort. Loved all the little touches that made it so nice. The hot tub was a true bonus and having a makeup mirror was also a treat . Great advice in finding groceries and on my department to Downtown Ashville. Wonderful hosts!

Beautiful Serene Home Close to Downtown Asheville

We had a lovely stay here this past weekend. Patti and Ken were waiting for us when we pulled up and were very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed, after that we really didn’t see them, which was nice because it felt private. It’s very peaceful, and the scenery is amazing. The place had everything we could need and was very spacious with good wifi, too. We mostly just used this place as a place to sleep, so it was very convenient how close it was to downtown and other outdoor activities.

Oasis in Asheville

This place was perfect for a single lady traveling solo. It was immaculate and very comfortable. The outside spaces to just sit and relax were so peaceful and a great place to enjoy a good book. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. All needed amenities were provided. A quiet and beautiful place to retreat to after a busy day visiting the sites in Asheville.

Spring Get Away

The location was great for our stay- close to the Biltmore and Arboretum. The property was clean, spacious, and comfortable . The landscaping was full of spring blooms. The owners were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for sites to see and restaurants to partake. Although it was not a problem, the property is connected to the owner’s main house.

Wonderful place to stay

Everything was so nice even though I went at a time when it was cold (March). Only drawback was that the driveway was very steep and my vehicle was unable to make the sharp turn to enter the property. No problems, though, as the owners explained how to do it. Would recommend this place to others.

Fantastic visit!

The place was just as described and easy to find. Even though it’s in a neighborhood it felt very private. Exceptionally clean and set up perfect for a place to hang out and sleep when we weren’t touring the area. Will definitely re-book the next time we’re headed to Asheville.

We had tickets to the Glass exhibition and didn't want hotel. The cabin is at the top of a narrow, steep driveway, on a less than desirable road. But the cabin was perfect for us! Clean, quiet, beautiful grounds and everything we wanted. We hadwonderful

Ken moved to the area in 1982 from Florida, and Patti arrived 10 years later. We met in 1996 and have been together ever since. In 2007, we bought our West Asheville home on the top of our Knob because of the spectacular view and privacy. Ken retired in 2008, and Patti is semi-retired. Patti is a part-time potter and has her studio in the basement of the home. Ken enjoys photography, and we both love to travel and are scuba divers. We love to host our guests at The Top O' The Knob Chalet, and hope to meet and help our guests learn more about Asheville. We've been hosting Guests since 2015 and we'd love to have you stay with us!

You want to choose Top O' The Knob because we try to make every guest feel that they are the first people to stay in this property! Your suite has its own private entrance and views. We have all the comforts of home plus our spa bath, luxury linens and towels, and beautiful views from your private porch, especially in the winter when the trees have dropped their leaves. Our new Fire Pit, seating, and supplied firewood will add to your vacation experience. Our new generator ensures our guests have power at all times, and the new mini-split air conditioning unit allows our guests to control their own temperature during their stay. We take extra care of cleaning and disinfecting to protect against bacteria and viruses. Stay with us, and you will not be disappointed!

The private entrance, high end linens and towels, beautiful view, private porch, and fire pit with seating and firewood will make our property stand out from others in the area. We're close to downtown and West Asheville; midway between Black Mountain and Waynesville; an hour from Cherokee and the Smoky Mountain National Park. Hiking, biking, golf, lounging, whatever you want to do. We've got it all! Asheville is great!
