Not for us. There was air conditioning. During the early noon and afternoon it was so hot. The yurt across the road was being worked on. So we could hear a metal pipe hitting something for hours. Then the workers started cursing and threatening each orher. Not relaxing at all.
We loved staying in this cozy little yurt! It was the perfect spot to hideaway for our anniversary week and weâd highly recommend it! The gravel driveway may seem intimidating (I was worried) but it was perfectly fine and is easy to navigate. The owner was always prompt in his response times and was very kind. Would definitely come back!
Simple and quiet. Exactly what I thought it would be. Would have been nice to have coffee grounds, shampoo, and conditioner. We went to Dollar tree and got the next few peeps hooked up. Host was very responsive.
Beautiful location and experience in the Namaste yurt. We booked this stay to take advantage of the hot tub after 4 days of mountain biking PNF. It did not disappoint!A notable mention would be the gravel road to the yurt. An AWD vehicle would be ideal esp if the weather is bad.
Everything was great. Itâs close to shopping and Asheville, yet feels like you are alone in the woods. This yurt was exactly what we were looking for
Wonderful yurt!! My first time staying in one. Terrified the first night, wind was high & felt like weâd be blown off the mountain. Didnât help that a huge tree was down on the yurt across the way reminding me what could happen.. but anyway. We didnât die and it was lovely outside of that!
Staying at this cozy yurt was a new and unique experience. The drive up to the yurt was a little intimidating the first time, but I didn't have any trouble after that. Very quick and simple ride to get to stores, restaurants, and the mall. The yurt itself was clean and stayed nice and warm during the cold nights. You could tell it was a little dated, but it had a charming character. Most essentials were provided for the kitchen and bathroom. The hot tub was very nice as well, clean and hot. And it was easy to find something to watch on TV, no issues there. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Namaste.
The yurt itself was wonderful but the gravel road leading to it was a lil intense for us. One lane, winding, and not lit up at night (Iâm sure for the ambiance). Other than that it was fantastic.
We stayed for 2 nights. It was a wonderful experience. We even discussed going again. The place was clean and quiet. There were cobwebs on the fan, but overall it was very nice. The quietness of the area was the best part. The TV stopped working at one point, but we were already getting ready to leave. Next time, we want to try the serenity yurt and see how the two compare. Check-in was easy and the drive was easy.
We absolutely loved the yurt. It was very secluded yet short drives to everything we wanted to do.
It had everything we needed and more and the water is super hot and last a long time. So peaceful.
Definitely would live here.
Utensil drawer was nasty, food had been left in the fridge. I would hire a new cleaning crew. The cabin up the hill was extremely loud 2 of the 3 nights we were there. We expected more privacy and a view but had neither. The shower wasn't clean and dish rack was nasty. The same soap was being used in the shower, bathroom and kitchen. Cobwebs everywhere and bed was extremely uncomfortable. We did not use the stove due to not working properly, microwave was disgusting. We personally would not stay here again.
Property was as advertised. Bed was comfortable. Hot Tub relaxing. WYFI was very good, I was worried it might be cold in the Yurt, but it was very comfortable. make sure you follow the written directions from the owner. I would stay here again.
Overall, a great place to stay. Fairly close to the parkway and a short drive to the city for daily entertainment. Wifi was a little wonky, but we didnât really need to use it so not a bummer for us, cable worked pretty good! Hot tub was clean and secluded. Water was nice and hot in the shower. It is right across the street from another yurt, so that wasn't expected, but it didnât affect us.
