Watch the palm trees sway and whales breach from this beautifully renovated direct oceanfront unit just steps away from the white sand beach. Unobstructed panoramic views of the ocean and outer islands. Enjoy stunning year-round sunsets all from your living area and private lanai.
We just installed two brand new A/C units to make the unit even more comfortable during your stay. Our luxury unit D206 is a 1 bedroom condo at Luana Kai. It has been meticulously remodeled with tile floors, updated kitchen/bathroom, and all new furniture. We strive to achieve a welcoming and thoughtful retreat for your stay in magical Maui.
Luana Kai's resort amenities include a clubhouse with a full kitchen, multiple BBQ's, a heated saltwater pool, jacuzzi, dry saunas, putting green, lawn games, ample parking, and neighboring community tennis/pickleball courts. At night, tiki torches illuminate the pool area, adding to the tropical atmosphere of the meticulously kept grounds.In addition to the 1.5-mile-long beach in front of Luana Kai, there are more than a dozen other sandy coves and beaches nearby along the arid south Maui coastline. Within a few minutes, drive are the lovely postcard-perfect beaches of Keawakapu, Kamaole II, Kamaole III, Charley Young, and Sugar Beach. Maui boasts more miles of accessible beach than any other island in Hawaii with over 80 beaches spanning 30 miles that include white, black, and rare red sand beaches.
There are many great restaurants near Luana Kai. Our favorites include Coconut's Fish Cafe, Monsoon India, Nalu's South Shore Grill, Wow Wow Lemonade (go there for the acai bowls), Miso Phat Sushi, Home Maid Cafe (the best malasadas) and Maui Pie for dessert. If you prefer to cook, there are a few grocery stores close by and 5 grills on site.
We do not provide beach essentials, such as beach chairs, snorkel gear or umbrellas. Guests are welcome to rent them from local vendors nearby.

The property management company requires a $300 security deposit. This is just a hold placed on the card, required 2 days before your arrival and released after your stay once the unit is inspected. Please refer to our legal agreement for more details, which should be signed within 24 hours upon booking. We do not typically allow early or late check-ins, if requested and approved 3 days before arrival or departure, we do charge $40/hr. Our standard check-out time is 11AM and check-in time is 4 PM. In the event that the guest did not arrange a late checkout and they did not depart the property on the date of departure, at the checkout time, the guest will be charged a penalty fee. 15 minutes after check-out time guest will sustain a $250 fee, 30 minutes after check-out time is a $500 fee, and 45 minutes or more $1,000
Also please note that we do not allow any Check-ins/Check-outs on major holidays such as (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Martin Luther King, Memorial Day, Easter, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving)
We are not equipped like a hotel, and we do not provide a linen service during your stay although we do provide a few initial starter supplies such as 2 toilet paper rolls/ bathroom (1) Paper Towel Roll, (3) Laundry Pods, (3) Dishwasher pods, (1) Sponge, (5) Trash Bags, Shampoo/Cond/Body wash, Dish Soap (Dawn) and Coffee/Coffee Creamer. Guests are responsible for any additional supplies during their stay.
