We had a great time in this cabin, it was very clean and cozy! It was a great location for us in between the Hoh Rainforest, Ruby Beach, and Rialto Beach.
Perfect location to travel to and from all the places we wanted to visit on the west side of the park. Cute cabin. Clean. Easy check in. Had all the essentials we needed for cooking etc.
5 stars â Perfect Riverside Getaway! We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cabin on the river! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, cozy, and well-appointed everything was.The cabin had everything we needed: a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, great Wi-Fi, and even a fire pit by the riverbank. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
This is a very nice place and easy to get to nearby attractions as well as groceries and town. We mostly cooked our meals due to dietary restrictions (and lack of desirable restaurants in Forks). The kitchen has adequate equipment but lacked a few things. Yes, the road is noisy but we slept well with the noise machine. One of us used earplugs as well. Bed very comfortable with black out curtains much appreciated. And traffic is much reduced at night. Cell service very limited for T-mobile. Mostly relied on the Wi-Fi.
The photos really donât do it justice. This cabin was so cute and well decorated for the area. You can walk right up to the river and the noise machine and ear plugs were a great touch since the road can be a little noisy at night. We had no trouble sleeping through it and would definitely stay here again.
Phenomenal cabin, feels new from the inside with all kinds of new amenities (including oven, microwave, washing machine and dryer). Coolest feature was the remote operated lights/fans! We loved having breakfast by the river Sol Duc (accessible from the backyard)! There were some berry trees on that short walk that were edible. They also have barbecue equipment outside.Cabin is stocked with several board games games too. Itâs located right along US-101 but the traffic noise at night is on the low side (nothing as crazy)âif thatâs a concern bring earplugs (they did provide earplugs). At night one of us 2 needed earplugs the other person didnât. Itâs just outside Forks, so groceries are nearby. Rialto Beach is a 20mins drive.
We had a fantastic time. Was able to hike multiple trails in the area and once they open the road back to the hoh next year we will be staying here again. Made our trip perfect.
We totally enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. The Cabin is very clean and uncluttered. Just the right amount of everything provided. The wood stove was a great thing for the very cold and snowy stay. Additional wood provided within 2 hrs. of request. Best accommodations we have ever stayed at. So much to enjoy in the area, we will be back for sure.
My wife and I have both lived in the area for over thirty years and we still love it here in spite of all the rain. We have a large family with six adult children and eleven grandkids. There is never a dull moment around the Larson house.
We lived across the highway from this cabin over twenty years ago and rented a small cottage that is no longer standing. During the summer months we can walk downstream to the next river bar where we used to roast hotdogs and marshmallows with our kids over twenty years ago. One family of our old neighbors still live there.
We can see the Sol Duc river flowing by without going outside. There is a beautiful view of the river from the living room window and the kitchen window as well.
