Very peaceful, private tiny house renovated in 2020, offers a huge newly built covered deck facing the valley. Large evergreen trees and lush ferns throughout this magical property, Elk Creek runs through the land and you can hear the Calawah River nearby. The house is equipped with everything you may need to make your stay enjoyable.
Great spot for our home base to enjoy Olympic park. Well stocked, peaceful and comfortable. Suited our needs while we were exploring this side of the park. Great hosts, responsive and communicative.
Cozy, well designed tiny home in a perfect spot for exploring Olympic National Park. The kitchen is well-stocked and the bed is comfy. We had everything we needed for a great trip.
I loved the Hideway. Although most of my time was out seeing the sights, it was wonderful to come back to the little cabin in the evening. The deck was lovely. I would definitely stay there again.
Exactly as listed! Everything you need to enjoy your stay and so many extras thoughtfully provided. We enjoyed exploring the rainforest and coast and the having a quiet retreat at the end of the day. Highly recommend!
The place is very nice and located in a quiet, beautiful, spot near Forks. It was perfect for us to go and explore the various national parks and shorelines nearby.
We wanted to relax from all responsibilities and Michelleâs little hideaway was perfect for just that.
It had all amenities needed, was within a short jaunt to gather supplies or see sights.
It is beautiful and quiet. Loved our time together there.
This was a great place centrally located to all things Olympic National Park. The host, Michelle, was so friendly and hospitable. She gave us directions to a beautiful creek next to the property. Clean, comfy and close to so much ONP
Great house, very clean, nicely set up, and new appliances with everything we needed (cooking, laundry, hanging on the porch). Easy to get to and visit all the Beaches nearby. Also nice quick little walks in the area to the river.
This is the second time that we have stayed in this marvelous home. We will keep coming back because it is the perfect getaway. Michele is the perfect host with her attention to details that make our stay nothing short of spectacular. Few things in life are as luxurious as saying on that deck and looking out at the forest for hours. We were fortunate to have perfect weather.
The house is in a great location for exploring Olympic National Park - close enough to provide access to the beaches and trailheads, and just out of the way enough to provide a relaxing place to come back to and enjoy the view from the porch in the evening. Michele is friendly and accessible, and has thought of everything to make the stay more enjoyable, and the house itself is cozy and fully loaded. I loved my stay, thank you!
I enjoyed my stay hereâthe property is peaceful and pretty. Michele has thought of all the details. The location was perfect for my needs. Close to the areas of Olympic National Park that I wanted to see the most, as well as a small town with a grocery store and gas station.
Beautiful private getaway next to a forested drive.
This was the perfect central location for our adventures in the Olympic national park! We enjoyed hiking, beaches and waterfalls and returned to our quiet property to enjoy a meal on the porch or by the firepit. It was wonderful to be 2 minutes from town but feel like we were in a cabin in the woods. Loved it!
This is the perfect base for visiting the National Park! The cabin was very well appointed and the indoor decor and amenities were well beyond our expectations! The location itself is perfect for a quiet and scenic get-away. The owner was very friendly and generous with snacks and helpful hints. We will certainly be returning here in the future!
This was such a lovely home. Beautiful little touches and great attention to detail. We were provided with everything we needed as well as extras! Super clean inside and out! Will definitely recommend to friends!
Visiting the state of WA for the first time and Michele was the perfect host and the house was the perfect place to stay. Everything we needed was there. We grilled steaks on the grill. And greatly appreciated the washer/dryer as it made packing for the trip much less. The bed was super comfy, the shower amazing. Not sure what else I can say other than if you are thinking about renting this DO IT! You wonât be sorry. Thank you Michelle!
This was the perfect base camp for our adventures. Everything we wanted to do was within and hour and a half drive. Fun during the day and relaxing evening on the porch. Iâll definitely stay here in the future for two person trips. This is an excellent location at the end of a dead end and close to town. Incredible views from the porch.
Everything about this place and its host was perfect. The location was right outside the city limits and backed up to the forest. Every morning was gorgeous. The host gave us privacy but was also there when we needed her. The house was the perfect size and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place and this host!
House was extremely clean and cozy! Love the secluded feel of the house. The view from the porch was amazing. Great location to many sites in and around Olympic NP. The full kitchen with pans and utensil stocked allowed us to cook in after being out all day on hikes! Michele was very easy to reach. Great house!
Fantastic property. Spotless inside. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking-ware. Michele even left out some snacks and coffee for us. The check-in process was super easy and Michele was very communicative anytime I had a question. The location easy to find from Forks and ideally located for touring the Peninsula and especially the national park. We definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
Very nice accomadations.
Warm & comfortable.
A Bluetooth speaker for music would have been a nice up grade. Otherwise more than expected - nice home touches. âșđ
This is a small house and quite tight in some areas (bedroom, fridge area), but it has everything you need to be comfortable. They even had a basket of snacks to enjoy! Great outside covered deck area with reclining chairs with a view of the mountains. You can also sit on the chaise sofa with a cup of coffee and look out the windows at the same scenery. 10-15 minute walk to the river. 3 miles from downtown Forks.
