We had a wonderful stay. Cabin is very clean and well equipped for anything you could need including laundry on site. Location is very quiet and serene by the river. We enjoyed coffee each morning by the river. Cabin is also centrally located to Olympic National Park attractions. Would definitely stay here again.
Three adults visited in early September to explore the Olympic National Forest. Great central location for the local sights. The cabin was perfect for our small group. Very comfortable beds, cozy living room, quiet location. Very easy check in and great communication with the host JoAnne.
Peace found on Sol Duc River right in property's backyard
Cute inviting Cabin with picture window where you can see the beautiful Sol Duc River. Or you can grill and have you meal on the river's side. Centrally located to many of the lovely trails waterfalls and points of interest in the Olympic National Forest, beach and Flattery Point. More beautiful than you can hope for. Near Forks all you Twilight fans which has the Twilight series museum.
The cabin was pretty easy to find and close to the heart of Forks. It was so cozy and the perfect size for partners or a small group of friends. It had a beautiful view of the river. The cabin was very clean and safe. It was up to date and even better than the pictures showed with wifi.
Home was incredibly clean and well accommodated. Well-equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms and comfortable couches made this place easy to settle into for a few days. Access to property and the home itself were simple. Communication with property owners was prompt and courteous. Great spot to start adventures around the Olympic peninsula.
We enjoyed the confortable cabin, as it was a perfect place to stay while going every day on excursions to Olympic National Park. The comfortable and cozy cabin was a far superior choice than the underwhelming motels/hotels we saw in the area. We also liked being able to cook some meals, specially breakfast, rather than having to eat out every meal. We were a family of 2 parents and 2 young adult children. The area is beautiful, well worth a visit!
This cabin was so comfortable and clean. We loved the comfortable recliner couches after we returned from hiking. The cabin has an updated and rustic charm. The river was beautiful, wildlife was present (eagles and blue jays) When I return to the area, this will be my absolute choice to stay. We also felt safe staying as the neighbor cabin was the owner. Thanks for renting your cabin to make my friendâs birthday great.
Peaceful Well Equipped Cabin Centrally Located on Olympic Peninsula
The cabin was perfect for our family of 3. Located right next to the Sol Duc River and close to Forks, La Push and its beaches and short drives to Hoh Rainforest, Lake Crescent, and Sol Duc Falls / Hot Springs Resort. Not too far from Shi Shi Beach / Cape Flattery (worth the drive). Overall perfect location to see most of Olympic National Park and Forest.
The cabin is well equipped to cook, very nice and cookware and everything you need to cook in or on the grill. Also, very close to lots of restaurants in Forks or its stores, very nice grocery store in town with all you need.
JoAnn and Randy are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming!
We would love to stay here again and recommend the location to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat next to the river or looking to stay somewhere in the middle to see all the sights.
The property is well maintained and very cozy inside. Comfortable beds and couches and a fully stocked kitchen if needed. It is well located to downtown and to the hiking and beach areas which made it a great location. The outside view is fantastic and so relaxing to sit outside by the river. No bugs which made it even better. I would highly recommend this cozy cabin if youâre in the area.
This is the perfect location when visiting Olympic National Park. The cabin is so cute and comfortable for the perfect stay. Great communication with JoAnn the owner. This is a must when visiting the area. We highly recommend this rental.
Perfect location. Loved the stream view with patio table. Host was incredible as we showed up at 1am and ensured we were situated. Max 4 people. We had 4 and were very comfortable.
My friend and I planned a hiking trip to Olympic National Park and spent the first half of the week at this perfect little house. The check in process & communication was great , the location was perfect and the house had everything we needed for our stay.
Great property and location. Very tranquil sitting up on the banks above the river. Listening to the birds including eagles calling to each other was wonderful. JoAnn is a top notch host. Second time at this location. Wonât be the last!
This cabin was just perfect for us. Great location, private, quiet, and comfortable. We appreciated the stocked kitchen, the grill, super comfy couches, and the use of washer & dryer. We would not hesitate to rent this property again. Thank you!
JoAnn's cabin on the river was the perfect clean, cozy and comfortable base camp for our 3-day exploration of the nearby rainforests, beaches and - of course - the still lingering Twighlight vibe of downtown Forks. Despite the rainy weather that kept us indoors, the country setting, rustic interior appointments and comfy furniture of the cabin allowed for enjoyable and relaxing mornings and evenings. JoAnn's communication ahead of and during our visit was thorough and helpful. Thank you for sharing your peaceful cabin.
Overall the stay was pleasant and uneventful until our last night. There was a big rain - wind storm that resulted in our power going out at 6pm. We were without power, heat and water which resulted in us going to bed at 7pm. The owner did text me early in the morning around 5am and apologized for the inconvenience. She did state that the neighbor should have turned on the generator for the water pump, but they did not. we had no toilet facilities all night. She also stated that these power outages happen quite frequently. Our question is... if this happens frequently why is there not a Generac that starts up automatically during these outages. Without heat and toilet facilities it was a very uncomfortable night. We were a bit surprised that we were not compensated for the last day we were there since check in is at 4pm . We left the cabin at 6am on Saturday morning
