House was clean, roomy, cute and comfortable . Main issue was power out in half of town so no power/ internet at the house the first night . No fault of the owner, but we were very inconvenienced that night and had to go out and buy ice for our groceries and candles and flashlights because we were in the dark. We couldnât look up tide or weather schedules to plan our next day. So a partial refund would have been appreciated.
Place is thoroughly cleaned but amenities are basic. Check-in check out is very easy. Some stuff (e.g. toilet seat and lights) need a bit of maintenance.
We had a nice stay overall and appreciated several aspects of the home. It was very spacious, with plenty of room for our family of five to spread out comfortably. The location was also greatâconvenient and quietâand the basketball arcade game was a fun bonus that kept everyone entertained. That said, there were a couple of things worth noting. The listing stated that pets were not allowed, which was important for us because my husband and children have allergies to dogs and cats. However, when we arrived, there were two dog bowls by the front door and the house had a noticeable dog smell. As a result, my family experienced allergy symptoms during our stay. I had assumed that "no pets allowed" meant that pets had never been in the home, not just that guests couldn't bring them. Also, the listing mentioned there would be a blender, but there wasnât one available. Not a huge deal, but I do rely on a smoothie each morning, so it was a little inconvenient.Despite those hiccups, the home itself had a lot of great features, and with a few small adjustments, it could be an even better experience for future guests.
We stayed for two nights in the Aztec Casita, and we really enjoyed our stay! The property was in a very quiet neighborhood and was a great location to explore several sites within Olympic National Park (including the Hoh Rainforest, Rialto Beach, and several other beaches). The property was very clean, and the kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked with cooking supplies, towels, and anything you might need. We all thought the beds were extremely comfortable as well. The kids especially enjoyed the play room with the basketball game. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with â weâd definitely recommend this property!
A great place to stay away from the crowds. It had space for us to spread out and all the kitchen necessities to make meals. It was a great base camp from which to explore the ONP!
My daughter and I were completely blown away with this home. When we arrived, check in was seamless. The home was just as beautiful in person as it was online. We stayed a week in this comfortable neighborhood. The home was clean, in great repair and stocked with everything that made our stay, convenient and memorable. Our hopes, to return to Forks and to the Aztec Casita.
My family of 6 throughly enjoyed our stay! The house was in a great location with access to all the wonderful beaches near Forks. The host was absolutely fabulous as she was quick to respond and made the check-in an ease. The kids also loved to play the basketball game in the rec room. We would definitely stay again!
Clean and updated home was comfortable and conveniently located near awesome trails and beaches. Be sure to check out the rainforest in Olympic National Park and the tide pools (recommend 2nd beach) during low tide. The Thriftway store has excellent baked goods.
Plenty of space, quiet neighborhood. Kitchen could have been a little better equipped with basic glassware and cookie sheets. Overall, a great stay in Forks to visit Olympic National Park. Thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Aztec Casita in Forks. Very clean and roomy, had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood and close to Olympic NP beaches and Hoh rainforest areas. Highly recommend.
Spacious and tastefully furnished. This is a lovely house in a convenient location for exploring Hoh Rain Forest and nearby beaches. We felt very comfortable.
The house was beautiful. The owners were wonderful to deal with and catered to all our comforts. They felt like family to us then just staying at someoneâs home. I felt like we had everything we needed and then some. I would stay there in a heart beat again and defiantly work with the owners again on getting the place. Wonderful people and home.
My wife and I enjoyed our four day stay. Very clean, nicely decorated, good neighborhood. The location worked well for all the sights we wanted to see: Lake Quinault Rain Forest, Hoh Rain Forest, Ruby Beach, Cape Flattery, Rialto Beach, Crescent Lake, Madison Creek Falls. Felt comfortable in this home. Would stay again.
Hi, friends! I am so proud to be from the Great PNW and absolutely love and appreciate everything it has to offer. My husband and I have three wonderful boys that keep us immensely busy. Even with our hectic schedule, preparing this space for couples and families to enjoy has brought our family so much peace and joy. We are so excited to be your host and truly hope you will make amazing memories in our Aztec Casita. We can't wait to hear about it <3
