Notre cabine est disponible avec le dortoir, il y a la possibilité de dormir 11 !!

La carlingue principale a 3 chambres à coucher (2 lits de reine et un futon) avec la cuisine complète, le salon, la salle à manger séparée et la salle de bains incluses. Petite laveuse sécheuse disponible aussi.

Extra grand pont surplombant le lac! Utilisation du quai, canoë et kayak inclus. Grill disponible sur le pont ainsi qu'un ensemble de patio (divans ET table avec chaises) pour que vous puissiez profiter de votre compagnie à l'extérieur!

West Glacier et le parc national des Glaciers se trouvent à seulement quelques kilomètres. Apportez vos vélos et vos chaussures de randonnée pour profiter du parc et de tout ce qu'il a à offrir!

Le lac Five est l’un des lacs les plus chauds et les plus propres du monde. Vous êtes capable de nager, surfer, skier ou faire du wake board ici!

Le wifi n'est pas disponible ... profitez du lac! Je pense que c'est la meilleure partie :)

Wonderful place on the lake

We loved this place! It’s just a short drive to Glacier and has an amazing view of the lake! We used the canoe, paddle board and kayak, went hiking and saw the sights in Glacier and were only a short drive to fly fishing on the Flathead River. The cabin has everything you need, biggest drawback is the very small bathroom if you have a larger group. We wish we could stay longer and hope to be back soon!!

Most beautiful scenery of our whole trip was on Lake Five

The cabin is small, but well equipped. We found everything we needed and then some. I especially enjoyed the view from the deck, which is spectacular, and also the kayaks. We toured around the park, but the best two photos I took were both on Lake Five

Very nice and cozy cabin. It was very quiet and felt very private. Glacier is a grogeous place and just minutes away. Propery manager was very very helpful as we got there a little ahead of check in time

Good, but room for improvements.

Pros: The property was beautiful and supplied so many water activity supplies: canoe, kayak, life jackets ect. Cons: 1/3.. the A/C didnt work the whole trip so we slept with the windows open in an 80 degree cabin. 2/3There were also no curtains in the majority of cabin and it was a lake house. Surrounded by windows and the feeling of little privacy. 3/3 the overall cleaning was a little less than satisfying. The shower drain was glogged internally and externally with hair, the tub had a thick gray ring of mildew, there were no bathroom trashbags to be found and nothing in the trashcan. A lot of the cookwear had the non-stick coating scratched thru so everything stuck to the pans. I do want to give the cleaner some grace because we arrived earlier than expected and I believe she tried to help us out by trying to get done sooner so that we could check in early.

Great Stay on Lake Five

We loved our stay here. It was great to go out and explore all day and come back and relax on the deck. Everything was as described. Check in was easy and it was not hard to find. The lake was warm (by Montana standards, probably around 75). We were caught up in the Delta flight issues for our intitial dates and Lyndsey was awesome. When it became clear we werent going to make it after sitting at the airport all day, she found a couple other dates that would work and allowed us to reschedule (didn't have to). Thank you so much! We will definitely be back and have had a few people already ask us for details.

Loved it!

Our stay at your cabin really made our trip. It was so relaxing to come back to your cabin at the end of the day and relax on the deck and take a swim in the lake. The cabin was close enough to Glacier that one day we came back mid-day to go kayaking on the lake, then go back into Glacier later in the day to go hiking. Our stay was perfect. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect Stay

We so enjoyed our stay at the cabin on Lake Five! The porch was so dreamy - it was everything we wanted and more. Looked like all brand new furniture, and had a nice sturdy umbrella. The glass panels made the lake views stellar and we loved sitting out here having coffee or a glass of wine. We did also end up using the kayaks once and enjoyed it! The place itself was nice, nothing fancy but the living and kitchen areas were spacious and well-stocked. There wasn’t anything we looked for that we couldn’t find - spices, pans, foil, etc. The bedroom we stayed in had a nice view of the lake, and with the boats making waves during the day that crash up on the shore right below the window, made for a perfect nap space! We would absolutely stay here again if we returned, and would recommend to others.

Beautiful Cabin!

The location of the property was great for exploring Glacier National Park! The cabin was beautiful and so were the views! It was clean and the host was very friendly and communication was great. The cabin had met all of our needs. We would definitely stay again!

Unbelievably beautiful setting!

The location of this cabin couldn’t be better! And that huge deck overlooking the lake made it hard to leave to explore Glacier National Park. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and had more spaces than I expected. Room for many! The owners were wonderful to work with. All around excellent experience!

Summer vacation

My family of four had a lovely little stay at the lake cabin. It was a great base for exploring Glacier National Park. It was HOT out when we visited. Proximity allowed us to hike and explore the park in the mornings and relax in and by the water in the evenings. Overall a great place for a family getaway!

Most beautiful view in GNP!

Excellent cottage on the water. One of the most beautiful views there is! And great for the price! Excellent communication with owner also! Superb actually…. We loved that the kitchen, it had everything, even plastic bags, extra garbage bags, and even dryer sheets and pods for washer!!! The lake was absolutely beautiful with the deck on the water. My son said there was a special grill for breakfast out there also and a normal grill. Only used the normal grill… Kayaks and canoe to use for water….not good for fishing, that’s if you’re looking to fish….but many places around there to fish. Also Excellent place for elders while u hike because they have every channel on tv which was great for mom!

Beautiful Place to Stay!!!

Can't say enough about how relaxed we were at this property. The views from the fire pit deck extending to the water were probably our favorite. We also really enjoyed using the kayaks! We loved cooking as well with the very functional kitchen and grill outside - we ate every meal out on the deck! Thanks for the great week!

Glacier vacation

We booked this for our base while visiting Glacier National Park, close to the park and peaceful. It was such a great place to unwind after hiking. Thank you for providing the bear spray! We took it along on the Highline Trail where we came across a bear 30 yards away! Luckily it ran when we yelled at it. The cabin was well stocked, clean, and we absolutely loved the deck. We did not use the TV. The Wi-Fi worked very well for our phones. Thank you sharing your mountain cabin with us. If we are able to come back, it will be the first place we look to book for our stay.

Perfect location but......

First off we had a great time in West Glacier and the location of the property was so convenient to the park. The property was a little more than we like to spend but the lake and the big deck sold us. It was magnificant! That being said I would like to give some constructive feedback to the owners. When we got there it had not been cleaned properly. There was what appeared to be dog hair on the couch, dust on the furniture, the refrigerator had not been wiped out and the bathroom counter needed to be wiped down. The hand soap in the kitchen and bathroom were empty. It took a while but we finally found the remote in top cupboard in the kitchen-not sure why it was there but we also were unable to get the TV to work and my husband and son are both pretty techy. As noted in another review there was a plastic protective covering on the mattress but the real issue we determined in the master bedroom was the box spring. We thought the creaking/noise every time one of us would move woke up the other was from the plastic. We removed the plastic but it continued. The mattress is very comfortable but the box spring is what creaked loudly with every move. I would suggest getting a new one. The deck furniture cushions need to be replaced as well. There were 3 benches but only one bench had complete cushions and was usable. Making sure the propane for the fire table would be another suggestion. The property is older but with a little bit more attention to the details it would be a wonderful place and I could then give it all 5's.

Deck and Lake are perfect!

We used this cabin as a base for exploring Glacier NP and would rent it again. Even though it was great, there are a few things that are helpful to know. The good: The lake was warm enough that 6 and 8-year-olds would swim in it (we were there in mid-August). They loved jumping off the dock, watching the minnows and ducks swim in the water, etc. The deck is perfection - we ate dinner out there the whole time. And it was easy to "parent" while sitting on the sofa on the deck, which overlooks the dock. The lake is very clean and clear. The kayaks worked well and were fun to explore the lake. And you can't beat the location to West Glacier and Going to the Sun Road. We also saw a bald eagle hunting some lake fish! For those reasons, this VRBO is a winner. However, there are some things to know about the cabin. It truly is a cabin and it hasn't been updated in some time. When we arrived, there was no propane for the grill (although that was remedied once we let them know). There are no child-size life jackets. The bunkhouse had not been cleaned. We were only supplied two rolls of toilet paper for four people for a week. (I went out and bought more since I was going to the store anyway, but still...) The beds have plastic sheet covers under the fitted sheets that are loud and not very comfortable. Bring your own pillows if you want more than one. The fire alarm goes off if you turn on the oven - even while it is still heating before you put anything in there. There were no potholders, so you have to use dishrags. Additionally, they only supplied salt and pepper. There is no oil of any kind and you need to bring/buy all of your seasonings. Finally, while the owner and her assistant were very kind and responsive, this is not a professionally managed VRBO. My final note - even with the negatives about the cabin, the awesome deck, lake, and location, make this a 5. We would totally stay there again!

A Perfect Spot

A Perfect Week...So glad we stayed here and outside the park. Good solid house and deck. Good kitchen. Good bed. Great sitting room with on-the-water view. The beach was sandy and felt safe. Our grand children were able to catch fish from the deck and paddle the canoe around. Also, the caretaker returned calls quickly and was helpful.

Great location

Great base of operations for our vacation to Glacier. Beautiful view from the deck. Washer/dryer and dishwasher were very nice to have. Could have been cleaner.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location

The cabin was very cozy, clean, and beautiful. The host provided amenities for our stay, and the canoe was just perfect for late afternoon paddling. We instantly fell in love with the deck and the dock. We spent majority of our time on the deck for brunch and dinner. The view was very scenic and tranquil that we found it difficult at times to leave the home. We would definitely like to stay here again on our next Glacier Visit. Ps: check in and check out was a smooth and easy process!

A lovely quiet retreat

My husband and I spent a week here to get away from stressful jobs and kids. It was a wonderful place to decompress, drink coffee on the porch, read, etc and a great place to crash after our hikes in Glacier (which is really close by). Beware if tall- my husband is 6’3’’ and hit his head repeatedly on low door frames. Very warm in the summer, the fans helped. Overall a great experience.

Quiet cabin in the woods and on the lake!

The property was great to have a place to sleep and an awesome deck to hang out when we weren’t hiking in the park. I think the dock is out of use though but otherwise it was a wonderful spot on a nice little lake to watch all the boats go around and super short access to the park every day. Would definitely stay again! It is definitely tight quarters was expected.

Family vacation at Glacier National Park

We loved the close access to US Hwy 2 and the West Glacier entrance. It cut down the drive time on a daily basis just to get to the National Park. We loved coming back to this quiet location on the lake. Every morning we were blessed with hearing the tremolo calls of the loons on the lake. There is no AC and the days do get warm, but the provided floor fans and being strategic with closing windows and drawing blinds shut during the day helped to keep the cabin cool while we were gone. We just opened everything up when we got back and set the fans up to draw in the cool air. Being on the lake and in the trees really helps to cool the cabin down at night. We had great communication with our host. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. South Dakota travelers.
