Cozy cabin on the wild & scenic North Fork of Flathead River near Glacier Park
Opportunities to see bear, elk, deer, wolves, coyotes, moose, beaver, otter, birds and more! Enjoy a campfire on the river's edge. Glacier National Park is directly across the river. Beautiful scenery!
5 star vacation. The house was fully stocked with everything you need for a week away. So quiet and secluded and you can really unplug and getaway. Amazing setting and the river was so peaceful.
The cabin is nicely furnished with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. We liked that it was isolated from traffic and situated right on the river. Overall, it was a great place to stay.
This place is fantastic!!! Amazing views, a fully stocked kitchen and super clean. Our whole family enjoyed grilling out, fishing, reading and a fire all along the river. Quick and easy drive into the park. We LOVED our stay and highly recommend.
The check-in was smooth and the entire stay was incredible. Loved hearing the soothing sounds of the river and the birds. The views are million dollar views.
We had the most incredible stay!! The views were outstanding! The inside was so comfy and the amazing host host had a sweet greeting board wiht our names and some sweet treats! The bed was comfy, house was spotless! We enjoyed the outdoor chairs, swing and hammock. My husband fished the river, and I went for a swim! We canât wait to come back!
This cozy cabin right on the river was everything we wanted in our summer trip to Glacier National Park. The views were amazing and the location is so peaceful. Tom and Carol were fantastic hosts and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed! Our boys had the best time floating in the river, we fished and had a campfire and morning coffee in the screened in porch. It is so close to the west entrance of the park it is very convenient. I would recommend this place to anyone!
Within the last 2 wks we have had 2 separate bookings for out of state family members. They are still raving about the cabin, its location and the wildlife along the North Fork. It was a perfect vacation for each couple and the cabin was well appointed, comfortable and very close to Glacier Park. A perfect 10 score!! Thank you to the vrbo hosts
Right off the deck, a perfect place to enjoy the North Fork of the Flathead River, fly fishing, floatingâŠnature at its finest, views of two elk, two bears, two wolves across the bank. Starry nites, meteor showers. Cabin had everything necessary for a comfortable stay, even A/C (one day in the 90s), W/D, and a large gas grill! A definite 10 out of 10
Such a relaxing home! Honestly the photos donât do even it justice. We stayed a few nights in glacier National park at a hotel, and then moved here for two nights at the end of our trip. Itâs in a great location, remote and by the river, but still only about 5-10 minutes from Columbia falls and 20-30 minutes from the whitefish area. LOVED our stay and loved the area. Weâll be back for sure!
This cabin was wonderful inside and outside. The river right outside the backyard was so peaceful. There are multiple seating areas from which to enjoy it. The cabin had everything we needed during our stay. The host provided welcome gifts and sign. The bed is very large and comfortable. Communication with the host was also great. I hope we can come back sometime.
The property was in the perfect location between whitefish and the west entrance to the park. The hostsâ were amazing and made our stay perfect! Highly recommend
We really enjoyed our stay there. We were a short ride to the west gate and after a full day at the park, this is a perfect place to wind down with million dollar views.
Canât say enough about this home. My family of 5 spent 5 days and had a wonderful time. Best stocked rental Iâve ever stayed in and the owners were great and very communicative. Would definitely stay again.
I cant describe how awesome our 4 days were at Glaciers Edge cabin. The wildlife, proximity to the park, feel and scenery made the stay a once in a lifetime experience.
Awesome views, great Hosts, well accommodated, great location. We would definitely book again. Our family of four was comfortable and did not even turn on the TV. Great vacation hub.
Wonderful location and cabin on the flathead river
Amazing hosts and a very comfortable cabin in an incredible location. The cabin is lovely with great space in the kitchen and very comfortable beds. Easy and quick access to both entry points to GNP. Will definitely go back if in that area again. The river front location is unbelievably beautiful.
This place was amazing, it was a great get away for my family and I to reconnect and relax!!
This property is in a great location, on the banks of the Flathead River, not far from the beautiful Glacier National Park. The kitchen was fully stocked with all upgraded features, large windows to amazing views! We will definitely be back!
We loved this property for the whole family. We spent the vast majority of the day -- dawn to dusk -- in the park, but the cabin was a perfect place to retreat at night. The views of the river from the living room, balcony, hammock and bank were a family-favorite, even though we only saw a bald eagle and some elk crossing.
Well stocked and very comfortable. Loved the location right on the river. I would come back again just to sit in the chairs along the river in the early mornings and late evenings. My kids loved the hammock in the back yard. Thanks for sharing your place with us.
We had a fabulous stay at Tom and a Carolâs place! The property is so peaceful and beautiful. We saw bald eagles, deer, and golden eagles. We slept great, had every amenity we could need, and Tom and Carol left a kind treat for us too :-).
We highly recommend this property and owners!
Our names are Tom and Carol Ladenburg. We are both native to the Flathead Valley, raised in Columbia Falls. We have four children and four grandchildren.
To us, this is a very special place. We've spent many days either fishing, swimming or floating the river. Many family gatherings have taken place here, sitting out on the deck enjoying the views, waving to passing floaters and fishermen, and seeing wildlife.
You never know what wildlife you may see. Mornings and evenings are best. We've watched wolves chase elk into the river on more than one occasion. It is a peaceful and serene place.
