À propos de cet hébergement

Cette nouvelle cabane en rondins de 1110 pieds carrés se trouve dans un emplacement parfait. Derrière la porte est le terrain de golf Glacier View et à la porte d'entrée la Middle Fork de la rivière Flathead qui offre une excellente pêche à la truite. Nous sommes à West Glacier qui offre le meilleur accès à tous les coins du parc national des Glaciers; y compris la célèbre "Going to the Sun Highway", la North Fork Road, semblable à l'Alaska, et les routes de l'arrière-pays dans le Bob Marshall Wilderness.

Après une longue journée de randonnée, de rafting, de pêche ou de découverte du parc, vous adorerez revenir dans cette maison confortable. La cabine est construite avec des billes de pin bleu massif et un savoir-faire de poteau et de poutre. Dans la grande salle, il y a un plafond cathédrale et un poêle à bois. Un loft ajoute de l'espace pour que les enfants puissent jouer ou regarder la télévision sur le téléviseur à écran plat. Les comptoirs en granit, les appareils en acier inoxydable et les armoires en cerisier dans la cuisine offrent un cadre idéal pour la cuisson d'une tarte aux myrtilles!

L'intérieur élégant et rustique a des planchers de bois franc et un escalier en bois récupéré. Il y a une chambre Queen à l'étage avec demi-bain et une mezzanine avec un futon complet pour dormir deux autres. Au rez-de-chaussée, une chambre avec lit queen et salle de bain complète. Il y a aussi une laveuse et une sécheuse au rez-de-chaussée.

Détendez-vous sur le porche couvert à ossature bois avec une boisson après une longue journée de randonnée ou de barbecue dans la cour arrière.

Il y a BEAUCOUP d'activités différentes dans ce domaine et en tant que parents, randonneurs, cyclistes, pêcheurs et coureurs de rivière, nous sommes heureux de partager nos connaissances! Hikers Cabin Dream

This Hikers Cabin is a dream for visitors to Glacier National Park. It rates 5 stars on all accounts. This charming log cabin is in perfect condition and located within minutes of the West Glacier Park entrance, dining out, supplies, and activities. The cabin was well stocked with supplies and everything you need for a comfy stay. The book collection has something for everyone to read and guides for visiting the park. They even supply firewood.

Awesome experience

The hikers cabin was the perfect place to stay while visiting the area, the neighborhood is quiet, the deer are almost tame, and the cabin is as beautiful as the backdrop in which it sits. Thank you Mike and Mona, we definitely need to visit in the future.

Perfect location and Excellent Accommodations

The cabin was conveniently located just outside of the West Entrance of Glacier National Park. In addition, you can walk a short distance to Flathead River. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay, including basic pantry items. We highly recommend this cabin.

What a convenient place to stay, minutes from West entrance to Glacier, and west glacier village. After staying here we went to east Glacier and many times missed our stay here. Everything you need is there. Washer and dryer huge plus. Just a very comfortable stay.

Hiker's Cabin-just awesome!

We can't think of one thing we didn't like about this beautiful cabin. The location to the West Glacier entrance, when you are outside the park, is as good as it gets. The cabin is beautiful and in a peaceful location but so close to restaurants, gas stations and shops. We had cell service with AT&T and a WiFi password was provided at check-in. VRBO information was accurate.

Perfect landing pad

My family of 4, including 2 older teens, thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at this perfectly appointed cabin. We were looking forward to the stay based on the previous perfect review history, and we were not disappointed. Things we especially appreciated: laundry, hangers in rooms, a total of 3 beds (master, guest, and a full in the extra loft) in addition to the couches, which were also very comfy for napping, the location where we could walk to the Flathead River bank and watch the sunset, the proximity to quaint town with just enough food and activity options, the extra half bath upstairs, the Wi-Fi, the kitchen utensils, the cleanliness, the fluffy towels and extra beach towels. We have stayed in a LOT of homes over the years, and this will be one we remember very fondly. Book without hesitation. The glowing reviews are accurate.

Great place & convenient to Glacier National Park!

We had an amazing time visiting Glacier National Park and staying at this cabin made it all possible. The cabin was clean, cozy and well furnished with everything we needed. The check-in/out process was incredibly easy and convenient. We spent as much time at the park as we could, so coming back to the cabin to eat, relax and spend time with friends was perfect. We will definitely stay again should we be back in the area.

Perfect VRBO - Location, Location, Location!

Everything about this cabin was perfect. This was our first trip to Glacier National Park so we knew little about the area or the best places to stay. We took our chances when booking this cabin and all I can say is luck was with us! This clean, cozy, AMAZING cabin is perfect proximity to the park, to the river, to West Glacier stores and 30 minutes from Kallispell. We could not have picked anything more perfect. Check in was a brease and everything we needed for the week was there. Great place to stay!

Close Proximity to Glacier!

This property was perfect for our Glacier adventure! It was less than 5 minutes to get to the park gate! This cabin had ALL the amenities needed and more. We had quite a lovely stay. The hosts were very responsive and communicative. Definitely recommend!!!

Amazing Base for trips into the park.

What a beautiful cabin with lots of amenities. The kitchen was fully stocked including instant coffee. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows and blankets. There is a short walk to a great spot to skip rocks along the river. We will definitely come back again!

Great Return Stay!

Enjoyed the fall colors of Glacier, even a trip over Going-to-the-Sun road in October! We so enjoy the Hiker’s Cabin. It’s in a great location for exploring GNP and the Flathead river. We’re always so cozy here. Great for a couples’ stay but plenty of room too for family. Comfy beds and all the amenities like W/D, stocked kitchen and cable TV make this an awesome find so close to the park. Many thanks again to our hosts.

First Glacier Visit

The Hiker’s Cabin is amazing! Clean, quiet, comfortable, and the perfect location for park adventures. The proximity to the park made it so wonderful to relax and unwind after a tough hike or even an intense day of driving the Going-to-the-Sun road. It felt like our own private cabin just steps from this incredible frontier. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well supplied and the wood burning stove was a perfect way to chase the fall chill from the air. We would absolutely come back again and again! It was our first visit to Glacier and it will be one we will remember for a lifetime. The hosts were responsive and accommodating and there was an abundance of guide books, maps, and helpful instructions available for us to use. Our vacation was made even more magical by our stay! Thank you so much for a magical time!

Cabin was exactly as listed, very clean and perfect location to Glacier. First night there we locked ourselves out and the response was very prompt for getting us a replacement key. Loved this location, cabin and everything! Would definitely rent it again!

Owners Mike and Mona are from Montana and Alaska. After 10 years in Alaska we wanted a cabin in an area similar to "The Last Frontier"..but better weather!

As avid hikers the North Fork Road towards Canada is almost identical to the Alaska interior-glaciated streams, grizzly bears, rugged peaks, and bad roads!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Mona is a wild berry nut and Mike spends as much free time as possible testing new fishing areas.

Huckleberries are found by mid July- as well as thimble berries, service berries, chokecherries, and many others.

The fishing can be excellent. Although most people travel to Montana for the trout fishing (which is walking distance); within 30 minutes of the cabin you can find bass, huge pike, lake trout, and pan fish.
Golfing is relatively inexpensive here- you can walk to the club house. In the summer you can buy a drink and basic dinner food at the club house for a very reasonable price.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

There are only a handful of properties like this one. Our place is new, rustic, classy, and what you hope for in a place like Montana. Although we are in West Glacier, we are a mile from the noise of the train and highway.
