Le Blue Lagoon est la dernière maison historique de l'île avec des plafonds en étain de 20 pouces. Ce 1 étage 4/2 dort 10 sur des matelas haut de gamme avec des draps luxueux. (La location comprenait un total d'aptitude pour 1/1 personne, vous pouvez dormir 12) Gardez tous vos invités au rez-de-chaussée sans escalier supplémentaire. Amusez vos invités dans la cuisine d'un chef avec salon nautique et coin repas. L'emplacement est au cœur de tout, mais vous pouvez dormir tranquillement la nuit. Marchez jusqu'à la plage ou dîner ou assistez à une pièce de théâtre ou à un concert à "The Opera House". Vous pouvez même faire venir un cheval et une calèche. Parfait pour un mariage ou une soirée entre filles. Réservez un massage sur place ... puis sortez sur la véranda pour admirer les jardins tropicaux qui vous attendent.
Marchez jusqu'à la plage en 5 pâtés de maisons, à pied des restaurants, les gars peuvent sauter un bateau de pêche et les filles font du shopping toute la journée. Pourquoi ajouter 30 minutes de plus et des kilomètres à l'ouest lorsque vous pouvez être en ville ... Profitez de notre île, puis terminez la journée avec la meilleure cour arrière, juste derrière les jardins de mauvaise humeur. Ne manquez pas le gros gibier du spa qui peut accueillir 12 personnes. Prévoyez de prendre un café sur le porche avant et profitez de la brise côtière. Avant de partir, allez voir quelques-unes des plus belles églises architecturales du Texas!
Votre location reçoit la maison principale pour 10 personnes et notre garage peut accueillir 2 amis de plus. Nous avons des caméras extérieures à des fins de sécurité et d'assurance. Pas de fêtes de bal s'il vous plaît. Remboursement de 100% sur les dépôts lorsqu'un préavis de 30 jours sur les annulations est donné.

The pool was the best. The bedrooms were big and comfortable and the living room had plenty of room for all of us. We had a problem with the front door, but it didn’t affect our stay. You are close to all of the places you’ll want to visit. It’s a great place to stay!!

This is a lovely house but getting inside was challenging. A hint for future renters is to bring your luggage in through the garage. You will need to ask the host for the key code in advance. It is NOT the same code to enter through the front door with the high steps. Hint #2 - if you are staying in the garage apartment, you can only enter it through the storeroom. The host was very accomodating with all of my questions and the property is perfectly located for activities.

Beautiful Resort style home

The home is a beautiful home steeped in history. The original hardwoods, the ornate ceilings, the large windows and more! The backyard had a wonderful custom pool with a huge Hottub. There was plenty of comfortable seating areas, an outdoor television and A clean grill. The host was friendly and helpful. We will be back. a clean grill.

Annual Mardi Gras trip

This property is awesome. The host "Ramona" has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and affordable. There is coolers and toys for the beach, toys for the pool, the hot tub is relaxing, and she has a propane and charcoal grill. We go to Mardi Gras every year and this house by far is the best house for location and space for comfort.

Beautiful Property

We felt so blessed to find such a treasure. The whole property, inside and out, was spotless. The house and the pool were so very pretty and the house was beautifully decorated. Everyone enjoyed the pool. I would highly recommend “The Blue Lagoon” to anyone visiting Galveston.

Great Vacation house

Great house walking distance to beach and close to Murdock and pleasure pier House was clean and had everything. The pool light and Spa Light was out I let management know was quick and easy they came out the next day had it fixed. Loved the house me and my Family will be booking for future vacations

Great Time

The house was very nice and we enjoy the time there. The only neg if you stay in the hot months bring a fan because it gets a little warm in the evening and early night the a/c was having a hard time keeping up. The house and the owner were very nice and helpful and I will stay there again. My kids love it great family time. Regards Mr. Chas Tobey

Inadequate Air Conditioning

The property was clean and well stocked. The only problem we had was the air conditioning unit was unable to keep up during the day. When bedtime came around, the house was unbearable due to the high tempeture.

Perfect Girls Trip

We had a girls trip to Galveston. We have been friends for 60+ years. It was a perfectly designed home for use. It had 4 bedrooms in main house and a garage apartment meant with bedroom at ground level. The main level is one flight of stairs above ground level. I’ve stayed in several VRBOs and this was my favorite, the kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need & the bedroom and common areas were comfortable and clean. The Lagoon swimming pool was the absolute BEST! Just exactly as shown! The hot tub over flowed into the pool creating the perfect water temperature. Be sure to read information the host left so the pool with remain perfect.. would definitely recommend this property and we all look forward to returning here. Thank you to a great host!! B

Pros - Great location - Charming old home - Lots of pool toys Cons - Pictures were when paint was fresh - much is now very aged. Ok but listing should show current pictures. - Cameras over pool and patio - should be disclosed in VRBO description. Kind of creeped us out. - Owner had zero communication with us and did not reply to any texts. One text we got was to tell us to walk around the block to put trash in alley on garbage day before we checked out. Otherwise she ignored us. - Snarky notes all over property reminding you of Do's/Don'ts - "if you leave pool fountain on all night, I will know and I will charge you a fee!". "If you turn on pool heater within 3 days of your stay, pool gets too hot and I'll charge you a fee -- HELLO". VERY OFF-PUTTING and snarky. - No dish soap, no hand soap. Insufficient garbage bags and TP We had a pleasant stay as a quiet family but the cameras, communication gaps, and snarky notes - will not visit again. Owner needs to: - post accurate updated photos - disclose the cameras watching you in her description - respond to texts - re-frame her snarky notes. You can be clear while not being unfriendly

Ramona was an OUTSTANDING host!! Prior to arrival she proactively provided us with everything we needed to know to access and utilize the amenities at her beautiful home. Everything in the home was clean, well appointed and easily accessible. Ramona also touched base periodically to ensure we were finding everything that we needed. The pool and spa are PERFECTION and instructions for use are readily available and labeled for convenience. The location is so close to everything!! The home is an historical Storm of 1900 survivor and it’s beautiful. She has ample poll towels and floats, an outdoor TV and plenty of seating for everyone. Beds were all comfortable with quality furnishings and super cool coastal art throughout. Thank you for a fabulous girls’ weekend and shh bc sting your home with us!!!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I have seen many historical homes here but when I walked in here my jaw dropped. The ceilings are fabulous and layout is convenient for everybody. Everything in here was updated and the location was great on the island. The previous owner was son of the founder of Thunderbird Wine and he said he spent a 100K on the backyard alone. I basically only had to add a TV so guest can watch collage football while able to lounge in the hot tub.. Lets face it after a day at the beach its good to swim in clean water.
You can stay on the west end but the beaches are cleaner in front of the hotels on the east end so why not get the best of both worlds. Loads of resturants and entertainment just blocks away! So all the action is right outside your door.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Very few rentals here have 1 story with all bedrooms on the same floor. The apartment below is just icing on your cake as this could host a few teenagers if they like their own living space. It's a one bedroom with sleeping for 4 . The adults could all be upstairs and have the quietness they want. If you are here for motorcylce rally the garage below could store 10 or more bikes in a secure area at night.
