Coastal Craftsman- Walk to beach & Pleasure Pier- As seen on Restoring Galveston

This home is featured in season 5 of the Chip and Joanna Gaines Magnolia Network’s ‘Restoring Galveston!’ by Michael and Ashley Cordray- The episode is titled 'The Craftsman Camelback'.
This is a beautifully restored historic home just a quarter of a mile from the beach (5 minute walk). It includes 4 spacious bedrooms with closets, a living room, kitchen, and bonus room. There are spots in the driveway for 2 vehicles and the street parking on Avenue Q œ is free. Despite limited space outdoors, there are built-in couches in the courtyard area and a delightfully furnished front porch.

General: Free high-speed Fiber-optic WiFi, Keyless front door entry, Free Parking, Walking distance to Beach
Living Room: The living area has plenty of space to hang out and relax while watching the large 53" 4K Smart TV. We have Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu, and Netflix all for your use.
Kitchen: The kitchen has all the necessities to satisfy any chef! All new stainless steel appliances and plenty of pots, pans and skillets. There are enough dishes for groups up to 12. We have a beautiful coffee bar with a keurig (pods are provided!) and a regular coffee pot as well. We also have a toaster and microwave amongst other amenities.
Dining: Gorgeous dining room table with lots of seating. The bar area provides additional seating with 4 bar stools.
Downstairs 1/2 Bath: Just off the kitchen for convenience.
Downstairs Bedroom 1: Offers a nice, cozy King size bed with bench, dresser and closet. The bedroom also contains a 43" Smart TV with streaming options.
Downstairs Bathroom 1: This beautiful bathroom is shared by Bedrooms 1 and 2. It has a newly tiled tub/shower combo and contrasts new white shiplap with the original wood shiplap and hardwood floors.
Downstairs Bedroom 2: Contains 2 bunk beds with trundles below, offering 6 beds in this one room. Wonderful space for kids! The bedroom also has a dresser and closet, but does not contain a TV.
Upstairs Bedroom 3: This spacious room provides a Queen size bed, bench, dresser, closet, and Smart TV.
Upstairs Bedroom 4: Another large room with a King size bed, dresser, closet, chair, and Smart TV.
Upstairs Bathroom 2: This full bathroom is shared by the upstairs area and has a beautiful tiled tub/shower combo.
Upstairs Bonus room: Additional fun space to hang out! In this area, you'll find another smart TV, board games and several books to sit back and relax with.
Laundry: Feel free to use our washer and dryer for no additional charge for the duration of your stay.

Was overpriced on this app, on booking. com would have paid the same price I paid for 3 days, for 4 days. Place is nice and homey though. But you can get way more space elsewhere for the same price.

Quick Overnight

Needed a place to stay for 11 plus a 3yr old prior to boarding Cruise out of Galveston. This place fit our needs perfectly and was budget friendly for everyone. The remodel and decor done by the owners are fabulous and you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful, Clean Home

We stayed at this property overnight to catch an early cruise the next day. The home is beautiful and equipped with everything you could need. Michael was an excellent host. He answered messages immediately and was very accommodating. We will definitely use this property in the future!

So cozy!

We really loved this house. We only stayed one night, but I would highly recommend it. There was 9 of us in our group, and it was very comfortable for all of us. The location was great also. There was plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well as Pleasure Pier. The host was very accommodating, and communicating. If you want a cozy and comfortable place to stay, this home is for you!

YES! Do it!

We absolutely loved staying in this home! We had 5 kid with us 7 and under and it was the perfect home for entertaining and the playroom was the perfect supply to give them a spot to escape to! Good walking distance to the beach, was very easy to do! Super close to everything and the owners were quick to respond when we needed help with internet! Will definitely stay again!

Beach get away

Wonderful location. Very cute house decorated beautifully. A/C was very cold which we all loved. Lots of space so we never felt crowded. Just a short walk to the beach. We even rented 2 golf carts and cruised the beach strip. Really enjoyed the house and location. Cant wait to rent it again

Spacious and Charming

We absolutely loved our stay here. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the beautiful natural light that highlighted the charming shiplap walls. We had no idea how massive the house would feel once inside and enjoyed exploring the upstairs with its tucked away bonus room. The kitchen was very spacious and well appointed for meal prep. Loved the high ceilings too. The rooms were numerous, and though there were only three of us on the trip, it would be great for families. The hosts were wonderful and thoughtful, leaving extras like teas and coffees for us to sip on the front porch. We walked to the beach, the pier, and shops with ease. It was a wonderful experience.

Beautiful home!

This house is beautifully renovated with lots of high quality, thoughtful touches. Our little kids loved the playroom and it’s a short 4-5 min walk to the beach. Thanks for a great stay, we’d definitely come back!
