Maison Payn

Belle maison sur l'océan sur une voie privée au nord de Yachats. Maison de 2 chambres avec 2 salles de bain, chacune avec douche. Chaque chambre a un lit queen. Magnifique vue sur l'océan depuis les chambres et les espaces de vie. Accès facile à la plage devant la maison pendant les mois printemps / été. L'accès à la plage pendant les mois d'hiver est d'environ un mile en voiture. Belle cheminée à bois au gaz pour profiter de soirées agréables. Limite de 4 personnes. Les étapes des mois d'hiver ne sont pas disponibles (novembre à mars). Maintenant avec WIFI. Pas de chiens s'il vous plaît.

Lovely get away

Even though it was cold and somewhat rainy there due to the time of year that we traveled..this was a lovely little tucked away place on the coast..quiet, peaceful, lovely..

Great beach house!

House was beautiful and has a great beach view. Other than the steps to the beach being gone for the winter, it’s pretty much perfect.

Perfect ocean view and access.

Awesome view of sunsets every day. Lovely home with well stocked kitchen and big library and lots of games. Perfect view of ocean with stairs down to Tillicum Beach

Payn House

The Payn House was a wonderful and beautiful place to stay and I would definitely stay there again. The house had wonderful views and it was super comfortable place to relax and be with family.

Unbelievable access & beautiful views

Went on a short coastal getaway with a friend and we had such a nice stay in this house! You really couldn't ask for better beach access and the deck off the side of the house was perfect for lounging and watching the waves roll in. Everything was clean, functional, and well maintained.

Front row.

Beautiful home. A front row seat with ocean surround sound. We missed not having direct beach access but the parks are close. The driveway was hard to see and a little scarey turning off the hiway. Enjoyed the deck. Would rent again.

Amazing

It's amazing we'll maintained and clean house with ocean view and direct access to the beach. Other observations: the property has shared access (stairs) to the beach. So, some people walk through time to time. The Lois lane road is quite narrow, not paved and has a few pot holes.

Quiet and peaceful on the beach

We had a great stay at this wonderful wonderful home right on the beach of the Pacific Ocean the Pacific Ocean. There is a staircase that literally leads right down to the beach and at high tide the water makes its way to the bottom step of the ladder. Felt like we were staying in a families members home, nice and cozy. Well sticked with all the pots, pans, and kitchen gadgets you could want for your own cooking. Or, within a few minutes driving you could frequent many great local eateries. Also, great location for dive breathtaking hikes along the beach and forest.

Central Coast Gem

Comfortable, spacious, hospitable, well furnished, with some nice owner touches, like the lighthouse collection in lighted case. The kitchen worked well for several to share in cooking with just about all the supplies needed. Would've been nice to have a stock pot or large dutch oven. Even knives were good! Great ocean views through ample windows and literally steps from the beach for easy and spontaneous access. It's at the end of the short "Lois Lane," (which, with deep potholes, was in serious need of grading) so had great privacy and no traffic.

Gorgeous Views

Beautiful Oceanfront Home. Views from both bedrooms. Everything you can think of in the kitchen for cooking (although I dined at my favorite local restaurant, The Drift Inn (highly recommended). Bright and cozy home that feels like home away from home. My only two negatives are really just about preference and maybe don’t deserve mention, the master bed was too hard in my opinion and the blinds in the living room only rotate (for lack of a better term) for view but don’t go up or down for unobstructed ocean views. Still gorgeous views…I just like a wide open view and would have a different type of window covering. All in all a 10/10 wonderful rental. Thank you for hosting.

Mixed Experience

High points: Spectacular view of the ocean! Well equipped kitchen. Mattresses in the bedrooms were so comfortable. Low points: The driveway had three major craters & other minor craters! We have a Honda Pilot so going 5 miles an hour coming in worked but so dangerous coming off the highway - you had to go from 40-50 miles an hour on the highway and drop to 5 miles per hour and pray you didn't get rear-ended. Need to fix! TV never worked for the entire week.

Quiet Escape

Hi, my 3yr old and I went for a quick getaway before "school" started. He loves the beach and this home is perfectly situated and just steps from the sand. We watched his first sunset on the deck and it was perfect. I will say the TV in the living room was not operable. I reached out to the service and they sent basic troubleshooting which didn't work. I also couldn't get the AC to work, so we had to open the back and side door and got a nice cross breeze. It got a bit warm at night though. Other than that, I would recommend this home.

Problem resolved successfully

The house is very nice and well equipped. Location to the ocean is great although the access to the beach is restricted in the winter, which wasn’t clear in the description. Weather was so bad, it didn’t really matter, but that’s the coast in January. Had a concerning electrical issue on the second (of three) nights (Strong smell of an electrical fire. New electrical panel appeared to do its job and tripped a breaker) which caused us to choose to leave a day early. After some days of difficulty getting to the right management person, they said an electrician had resolved the issue and would credit us for two nights, even though I had suggested one night would be acceptable. Things happen. How they responded is what matters.

Erg mooi onderkomen met fantastisch uitzicht op de zee. Helaas wat de grote meerwaarde (direct aan het strand) niet in de winter mogelijk. Blijkt wel beschreven maar niet voor iedereen duidelijk. Rest van de faciliteiten waren ruimschoots aanwezig. Plus was ook de openhaard.

Oregon Coast Visit to Yachats

Private property location with great views and conveniently close to Yachats. Like the No smoking and NO pets policy. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent Stay

We had a very pleasant stay at Payn House, and we wished we could have stayed at least a week (our stay was three nights). The view of the ocean was lovely, even from the master bedroom. Luggage has to be carried up stairs, and there’s no beach access in the winter, but the listing information is very clear about this, no surprises. The gas fireplace makes the living room very cosy, the kitchen is convenient, and the whole place is clean. We definitely would stay at Payn house again.

It was wonderful

The only single issue we had was one of the rooms did not have a cable box in it. Outside of that the house was as shown and would recommend and we will be staying there again.

Amazing Location - Adorable Home

By far this has been one of the best rentals we have stayed in on the Oregon Coast- Property Management Company - had a clear open communication from the beginning- ( we did not need to use it) but knew it was there if needed. Home was just as decribed as far as location and views- Home was clean, and had everything we needed! ENJOYED our stay 100%

Great location

The location and view are great, but the home could use some TLC. The kitchen is well equipped, but the faucet was not attached to the sink and was hard to use. There is a small propane grill, but no fuel (even though I had been told it would be provided). We would go back for the view.
