The Big Sea est une maison spacieuse et confortable dans la propriété la plus à l'ouest de la première rue face à l'océan de Yachats ...
il s'avance vers l'océan comme la proue d'un navire! Cette maison a une vue imprenable à 180 degrés sur l'océan Pacifique majestueux, les vagues de la côte rocheuse qui se brisent et le spectaculaire Cap Perpetua.
Les deux chambres ont une excellente vue sur l'océan ...
le doux rugissement des vagues vous endormira la nuit et vous accueillera chaque matin.
Vous pouvez regarder un défilé d'otaries, de loutres, de pélicans et de baleines
pendant que vous vous prélassez dans la lueur de la grande cheminée en brique dans le salon aux poutres apparentes
ou tout en profitant de l'air frais de l'océan sur le grand pont orienté à l'ouest ou au sud.
Cette fantastique escapade à la plage est dans un endroit idéal pour rechercher des agates, du jade et des coquillages.
Il y a un accès facile à la plage rocheuse et aux marées,
et il se trouve à quelques pas du parc d'État de Yachats, de nombreuses galeries d'art, restaurants et boutiques.
Le sentier 804 historique adjacent offre des kilomètres de marche ou de jogging sur les plages de sable fin, la côte rocheuse et la végétation luxuriante.

Vous vous sentirez détendu et revitalisé par votre visite avec l'océan pacifique, les étoiles et le ciel en constante évolution!

Comfortable with fabulous view

Thoughtfully stocked, perfectly comfortable with jaw dropping views. I loved the shower and living room furniture. Location is perfect for walking the town, but we spent hours watching the waves from the cozy living room. One of my all time favorite houses!

A Destination

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is a destination in itself, the ocean right outside down a short lawn and into the waves. You can see whales and seals and surf scooters and pelicans. You can make your meals in a well-appointed kitchen and eat at the table while trying not to be distracted by the weather and seas outside. You can watch for the green flash while sitting on the sofa. No need ever to turn on the TV.

Best Oregon Coast location!

Nice comfy house with the most amazing view. LItterally next store to the tide pools, and ocean views from every window Yachats is a wonderful town with a great bakery, ice cream store, seafood, etc. Very close to some neat coastal sights and hikes.

Beautiful views, very comfortable house, lots of room. Backyard perfect for a dog. Can’t imagine a better place to watch a storm!

Simply Amazing!

Beautiful location, comfortable surroundings, warm and comfy inside, great value. Can't get enough of the views from the yard and many windows! We'd love to get back there again, soon!

Top Tier Destination

Planned a trip to Oregon and found this oceanfront last minute. The view is spectacular and the necessities for the stay are in abundance. We walked 2-4 blocks to shop, eat, drink and enjoy a beautiful coastal town. It was perfect for us and we will certainly be back!!

Best view

My mom and I stayed here for her 80th birthday. She grew up in Yachats. The house is very nice, quiet neighborhood, close to everything and has an incredible view. I would definitely stay here again

Peaceful resting away from the insanity

A get away planned after a long hectic winter. Throughly enjoyed watching the waves crash from the comfort of the home or the backyard with our pugs

Gorgeous view!

This is a cute little house, had everything we needed, although it is in need of updating. The view was ah-mazing!! Loved the fenced backyard for our fur baby. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Great location

This was a great location and was roomier than I expected it would be. It was plenty of room for my husband and I and our two kids (16 and 12). The couch is a pullout and there were plenty of blankets/pillows/bedding. We loved it here

Everything About this Property is Great!!

We were pleased with all aspects of this property and our rental experience with Ocean Odyssey, the management company. The location is phenomenal, right on the ocean. The house was very clean and comfortable. Yachats is a great vacation town. It's a small town with ample restaurants. And if you like seafood, then you will be very happy you came here. The only negative for myself personally was that I think there should be (a lot) more lighting in the living room area. A few floor lamps with strong bulbs would probably do the trick. Otherwise, all was great and we spent a lovely vacation. I thank the owners for making it available at an affordable price and for accepting our small dog too.

Again, Wow! What an incredible place. Been to a lot of places, and this ranks at the top for sure. What a great little place to watch the ocean, with great hikes and quiet atmosphere. Very clean. Definitely coming back. Thanks so much for sharing your place!

Views surpass description!

Spectacular ocean views from 3 sides! Perfect for dogs with fenced yards in front and back… the house had everything we needed :) Our adult daughter spent one night with us and she did say the second bedroom was best for a single person or maybe a couple of kids. Kitchen well equipped - lots of towels in the bathroom - easy walk to downtown Yachats. We will definitely be back!

Amazing view

House was clean and the view was the best. Came to enjoy the beach storms and boy did the weather give us storms. Plus a couple calm days to get out and explore. The living area was a little dark, it would have been nice to have more/brighter lighting options, but this was easy to overlook because of the view out of the windows that spanned to entire front of the house. The bed in the smaller room was a little soft, but that is our opinion, others may love a softer bed. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we are in the area.

Great place and view

Great place. Not updated but has all you need. Gross silverware with the plastic handles need to be replaced. They are dirty and gross. We only saw her aware that didn’t have plastic handles. The area is nice. View is amazing. Lots of beaches nearby but none right out front Great food and atmosphere at the Drift Inn. Lots of gluten free options. The bakery is only open on the weekends; has a couple gluten-free options and not a lot of other options but maybe they were just sold out when I got there.

Uncapturable Beauty

The pictures don't do it justice. It was bigger than we thought and, like everyone else says, WOW THE VIEW! We appreciated the closed yard for our pups and the mud room that kept the sand and rain shoes out of the main areas. Beach access is just right next door down a little path and while it's not much beach, if any, the rocks are abundant! Agate hunters dream home. The house is close to town and the wetland and urban forest areas. Over all an amazing home and an amazing stay.

LOVED IT!

My BFF & I had a wonderful, relaxed 3 nights at Big Sea! The photos don't do it justice! All reviews rave about the views, but seriously they are amazing! We're fairly low maintenance so didn't use alot. It was nice to have them though. The sink in shower bathroom could use some draino and the sliding glass door needs some help! It's hard to open & close especially for seniors. Otherwise, it's great! Highly recommend!

Perfect spot for ocean watching

The property was very clean, beds comfortable, and the location was super. Right near the 804 trail for walking. Just a few blocks from the store and great shops & restaurants. This is an amazing location to watch the waves. It was too cold to sit outside on the deck, but we spent time in the large front yard taking photos and using binoculars. The bed in the second bedroom is a double, I think. My son is 6’2” so he took the larger bedroom with the queen bed. The kitchen has lots of dishes & cookware. People have left extra coffee filters. We’ll be back. This was charming and it was wonderful to sip hot tea on the couch and watch the huge waves from the storms.

Reviewer Comments: This is one of our favorite houses from Ocean Odyssey because of its water front view and its location within an easy walk to town and to tide pools. The beds were comfortable, and the set-up of the living room and dining nook were sensible. The kitchen possibly needs a vent fan over the stove, as there is a bit of a smell of old grease there. The water-saving toilets always seem on the verge of failing to flush, which has happened in the past, but they did OK this time. The internet connection was too slow to play games or watch videos, but we were able to check email and, with a bit of waiting, look at the online menus of local restaurants like Ona and The Drift Inn.
