Sandpiper is all you need

Maintenance staff come every morning to inspect property and make sure things are in working order. Great location, love that the building is only three floors, directly on the beach, and has a wonderful gated pool.

Beautiful condo unit. I would like to stay here again. It did not appear floors had really been cleaned, crumbs under counters, etc.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good experience rented same unit this year as last year. Seemed to be an issue with the Ice Maker not hardly making ice and refrigerator seems to be starting to have issues. Did have setting at mid point to not freeze it but wasn't very cool. Secondary bathroom wasn't as cleaned as last year, had hair upon check in on shower wall and bottom around toilet dirty. Master bathroom shower curtain at bottom dirty.

Fabulous little condo!

We loved the heated pool. Bender Realty is fabulous. My kids are begging me to go back.

We have been coming down here for 30+ years and stayed at a similar condo facility but I have been told we will have a new home base when we come back. Very clean and everything was well kept.

I hate to review for fear it won't be available when we want to book again! Beautiful, updated decor and newer appliances with great view of the ocean. Owners have made great use of space with choice of furniture and sleeping arrangements. Sandpiper is the perfect location on west beach! Great place to stay if you want to meet other friendly guests. Smaller with a safe feel!

14C 7/9-7/16 Lawson Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a great stay! Here are the only major issues we faced:-- There needs to be an effective security guard that will address the noise/guest issues (I only saw a guard twice, and the first didn't even know the pool code, and the second was too old to be performing the job). There needs to be someone with enough authority that will approach problem guests (running, screaming, loud music, disruptive behavior) and end those issues. -- The pool should be child centered, not 25 drunk adults throwing each other in; a man threw a woman almost on top of my niece. I do love that radios/speakers are no longer allowed on the deck! That really changed the noise pollution, and I say this as someone who does not use the pool (hearing it from the 3rd floor deck).--There was quite a lot of sand on the sidewalks and stairs; last year I thought someone came every few days to spray/blow off but I may be mistaken? I do appreciate the continual board replacement to fix nails and old boards!-- What is the best way to address these other guest (i.e. loud music) issues while we are there? Should we call the office as needed to indicate the guest/condo # and how is that handled from your end?Our condo was amazing; great amenities and cleanliness. The only thing we need is scissors :)! To us, it is the best condo we have been in since we started coming over 10+ years ago.Also, the people in the main office are so kind and wonderful! I appreciate their willingness to help.

Sandpiper 14C is indeed a wonderful unit at Sandpiper. We regret the issues you experienced during your stay and would have immediately addressed them had you or any of the guests at Sandpiper reported them to us. A call to our office during the day and to our after hours service(you received their number in your guest packet) at night would have resulted in affirmative action on our part. The layout of Sandpiper results in a very open and communal atmosphere, as opposed to a condo with a private balcony. We appreciate your family's repeat patronage and look forward to your next visit.

Perfect Condo for a Guy's Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three beds for three bodies. The kitchen was properly apportioned, and the rooms were clean and clutter-free. We had easy access to the pool and the beach. We were allowed to enjoy ourselves around the pool without being hassled by overbearing security, and we enjoyed the folks who were staying around us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We vacationed with 79 family and friends. Perfect complex for a large group. But property is old and condo is small for the $$$ you pay to rent. Kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and cookware. Bedrooms are small and feel cramped. Bathroom is also very small. A blow dryer was provided. Had to borrow one from a neighboring condo that provided 3 blow dryers. Overall had a fantastic time visiting with friends and family, if you are vacationing with a large group this is a perfect location, otherwise much nicer properties to rent.

Reviewer Comments: We love the Sandpiper and have been staying here with friends 10+(15+ with my family) years.We have stayed in a lot of the Condos here, but 14C has been one of the best. Pros: I love the furniture, the openness, and the cleanliness. The appliances work great, and they supply all of the amenities needed for home and beach. They are SUPER responsive and helpful, and they dealt with moving our dates for next year (twice...I called and changed condos twice since 14C wouldn't be available). The receptionists/managers are top tier -- the most kind, helpful, and professional humans. Neutral: With a place like the Sandpiper (It's U shape), it is open outside, so if people across the way are loud, you will hear it. Luckily this year, the families were quiet. Much better experience from certain families from the past partying late into the night. With that in mind, the condos are soundproof (walk inside and the noise disappears) and we spend out evenings/nights on the beach). If there are loud groups, be ready; they security guard hasn't been particularly proactive in the past.Cons: The water pressure was not very good this year. The master shower didn't drain. The dishwasher broke, and we put in a maintenance ticket; they came and looked at it to confirm it was broken. Said they would return the next day, but never came back. We did all dishes by hand. Bender was super apologetic and helpful along the way though. Also, they used to blow off the decks each morning, and have stopped doing that; I wish they would start again.Overall great experience even with the cons!

Plenty of space for my three small children to play and relax out of the sun. The kitchen was fully equipped and the kitchen table easily sat us all.
