MY FAVORITE VRBO SO FAR !! My friends and I travel frequently to attend tournaments, and we prefer VRBO over hotels. This was a fantastic find for us. The house was comfortable, clean and had every amenity you could ask for. The hosts were wonderful to communicate with and I would stay there again in a minute!!Thank you for a great holiday weekend!

We stayed here for EAA Airventure and the location was perfect. Nice access to a little piece of beach that our girls loved to unwind before bed after the chaos of Airventure. Communication with the hosts is excellent. House is a nice size, nicely furnished. Basic and simple. Kitchen is basic and simple but adequate. There is no dishwasher, and I did miss a dishcloth and dish towel for hand washing dishes, but there is a brand new packaged scrubber available. Mattresses are very nice quality, I was quite impressed.The one negative experience was that there are plug in air fresheners in every single room. I have a disease that it's absolutely imperative I avoid these, and I was actually surprised to find so many of them. Had I known that beforehand, I'd have asked for them to be removed prior to our arrival. Other than that, no complaints.(Review by Leah, Shane's wife)

Good. House is a little dated. I did clean a little bit. The floor was a little sticky. The shower needed a little wiping on the walls. There are 1 1/2 baths, not two. Beach is very nice, but be aware there is a lot of goose poop to navigate. Otherwise, the house is very comfortable and bright. The layout is very good. AC works very well. TVs in every room including living room. Kitchen was well stocked with extras. We really enjoyed our stay.

Winnebago Access Ranch

Perfect location! The appliances and bathrooms could use some updating, but it was fine for our purposes. A non-slip rug and grab bar would be great in the main bath as my 86 year old mother was a little nervous getting in and out of the shower. We had to clean the outdoor table and chairs in order to enjoy them, but no big deal. Overall the house was comfortable, the owner very friendly and great to work with, and we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent place to stay

Stayed there for 9 nights. The owners are very nice and welcoming. Could never imagine staying in a hotel that long. Great location, lake access, outdoor bbq, etc. Place has nice furniture and is comfortable and quiet/peaceful - think the opposite of a hotel parking lot. I highly recommend the place and will stay there again on future visits to Fond du Lac.

Great little cabin getaway by the lake

Went away for the weekend with 2 two year old boys and friends. Great little cabin near the water. We used a wagon to haul Everything to the beach since it is not right in the water. The beach is set down and rocky but the sand bar just a few steps in the water was a wonderful surprise. The paddle boards and paddle boat were great too. Owners are very responsive and accommodating.

Good stay.

House may need some updates, but was overall pretty clean. Nice hosts. The water access was confusing at first, but we got it figured out. I would stay again in the future.

Close to lake

We were disappointed checking in at night with poor cleanliness of the place. Bedsheets, bed, pillow cases were uncomfortable and stained. I recommend bringing your own. We didn't anticipate to see so many spiders and air-conditioner filters were dirty.We are nonsmokers and could pick up some smoke smell. Unfortunately we could not grill, since grill was also dirty. The house had plenty of rooms and space for all 6 of us, and kitchen was comfortable. You can easily park two cars. On the other hand, location was close to the lake, short distance walking through neighbor's backyards to get to the lake. Nice neighbors offered to use their paddle boat and boards that made our experience at the lake special. Also, neighbors were friendly and easily made suggestions on where to go, eat and fish. We recommend to visit Lakeside Park great place to relax, for children and just to enjoy the lake.

Nice place in a great location

We stayed while ice fishing lake Winnebago and Poygan and this location is located nicely for fishing out of the east or west launches. The owners were quick to respond and accommodating. Overall a nice stay at a good price.

A Pleasant Stay

Enjoyed our stay while visiting family in the area. The property was comfortable and provided all of the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Since we visited in November, we did not get a chance to enjoy the lake, but did visit other area attractions.

Would rent again if in area.

This place was in a good location close to stores and downtown area. Managers were very friendly and prompt in communicating and even stopped by to make sure everything was ok. The house has a good layout and good seating in the living room and kitchen. It could use a good spring cleaning to get those once a year spots but overall the house was clean. I think the price list is in line with the how I would rate this place. If I’m the area again, I would rent this house again.
