I had an excellent stay. Great area, The amenities were honestly some of the best I’ve experienced you truly have everything you need, just like at home. The space was comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully prepared for guests.Jennifer and Ken were wonderful hosts- kind, responsive, and very welcoming. They made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.Highly recommend staying here. Thank you again for such a great experience!

Last Minute Trip to NYC!

We loved this spot! At this last minute, we opted to do a quick stay in NYC, and we came across this spot. It was perfect in all aspects! The space was just as pictured, the location was perfect, and Jennifer was more than responsive. We would definitely return and recommend the spot to others. Thanks again!

Cozy, Clean, and Convenient

We enjoyed our stay at the Garden Brownstone Studio. The apartment is well equipped with everything one needs. The apartment is also convenient to two subway lines. Jennifer and Ken respond to questions quickly.

For 4 days it was home!

Thank you to Jennifer and Ken for making our stay in New York wonderful! The garden apartment was just as shown in the photos and was so clean and comfortable! I've stayed in a few hotels close to Times Square and this was SO much nicer! Anytime we had a question, Jennifer and Ken were right there with answers or suggestions. Access to the subway is easy and there are plenty of places around the apartment to get anything needed. Took a taxi from the airport on arrival that only took 15 minutes and called Uber for a trip back to the airport. The car was there within 5 minutes from ordering. Would definitely stay there again!

Charming perfect studio!

This was an amazing experience! Everything you could have imagined that was good for a stay in New York but better! Jen and Ken were wonderful, they were quick to respond and gave us great information on where to eat, how to get places and where to go. They had juice waiting in the fridge for our son, and a bottle of wine for us( yes please!) The area was quiet!!!!! Quiet is unheard of in New York! The place had every amenity you could think of and was so easy to hop on the subway to get places. The area was very safe and we had no worries with our family be out and about around there. Thank you for the amazing accommodations! We will be back!

Wonderful!!!!

We have stayed 11 nights and our staying has been better than we thought. The apartment has all you need, all facilities to make your staying perfect. The bed and sofa, where my children slept, are really comfortable. Talking about the neighbourhood is very safe and nice, you also have shops and a supermarket very near. There are two subway stations just 7-8 minutes walking. So if we come back to NYC again we will contact with Jennifer and Ken again, they are very good people, always ready to help you. Very good experience, we recommend it to everybody with any doubt. Thanks a lot for all.

L'appartement est situé à moins de 10 minutes à pied des stations de métro de la 125ème à l'est par la 4/5/6 et à l'ouest par la 2/3. Il est très fonctionnel et décoré avec goût. Tout l'équipement nécessaire à un voyage est disponible. Idéal pour une famille de 4 personnes.

Superbe studio à Harlem, très cosy

Très joli studio au RDC d'une brownstone dans une Rue calme de Harlem est. Très bien décoré et très bien équipé. Les stations de métro sont à environ 500 mètres et permettent d'aller rapidement en centre ville de NYC. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour pour visiter NYC.

Appartement et localisation au top

Appartement tout confort plein de charmes et calme, proche du métro, on peut même décider d’aller à pied à Central Park. Hôtes prévenants et accueillants, tout est fait pour qu’on se sente comme chez nous. Super séjour.

Un petit nid douillet

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement proposé par Jennifer et Ken. L'appartement est propre, fonctionnel, douillet et très bien équipé (il ne manque absolument rien et les équipements sont de qualité !). Convient parfaitement à une famille de 4 personnes. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de rencontrer les propriétaires, mais nous avons reçu plusieurs mails de leur part durant nos 3 semaines de présence, pour à chaque fois s'assurer que nous ne manquions de rien. L'appartement est situé à Harlem, à 10 mn à pied des lignes 2 et 3 (rouge) ou 4, 5 et 6 (vert). Une supérette est située au coin de la rue et un Whole Foods Market (supermarché bio) est accessible au niveau du métro des lignes 2 et 3, bien pratique ! Nous vous recommandons cet appartement.

Appartement très confortable et bien équipé, dans une rue calme et bien situé pour visiter New-York, à moins de 10 minutes de 2 stations de métro. Les propriétaires laissent tout le nécessaire comme à l'hôtel ( serviettes, draps, nécessaire de toilette, produits d'entretien, brochures...)Une super machine à laver, sèche-linge. Que demander de mieux?

Nous avons beaucoup appréciés notre séjour !

Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous l'appartement est très bien emménagé et nous n'avons manqué de rien. La localisation est parfaite pour visiter Manhattan : bus, métros et supermarché à proximité . Le quartier est très calme et agréable . Nous recommandons cette endroit pour 2 ou 4 personnes . Un grand merci à Jennifer et Ken pour la petite attention à notre arrivée !

Lovely cozy appartment!

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer and Ken's appartment! We had a card and nice bottle of wine waiting for us at our arrival! You have everything you need in this beautifuly decorated and cozy appartment! You can just bring your suitcase, they thought of everything so you do not need to go and buy things you might have forgotten to bring (like your shower gel...). You will only have to buy food. We did not get a chance to meet them but they thought of sending us all the useful information (nice restaurants, how everything works) on our arrival! The bed is very comfy and the couch is comfortable. They have guides and very interesting books about Harlem and NY for you to use. There are 2 subway stations (green and red) close to the appartment which is great! you have some shops around and very nice restaurants also. I definitely recommend this appartment! Thank you Jennifer and Ken!

Great Harlem Home!

I was in NY for a 5-week graduate school program, and feel fortunate to have this wonderful place to make my temporary home for the summer. The studio is unusually spacious and comfortable, and easily accessible to Harlem attractions and other parts of the city. The hosts are thoughtful and helpful; overall a great experience. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in New York!

Excellent property in New York City

This rental was superb. Jennifer thought of everything you might need, and it's in the apartment for you. There's a drawer filled with maps and NYC reference materials. Explicit instructions were left regarding local shops and restaurants. It's a 10 minute walk to the 2/3 trains, running down the west side, and a 15 minute walk to the 4/5/6 trains running down the east side. You have complete privacy in your unit, and we felt like we were coming home every evening. It was very quiet most of the time, which was surprisingly to us. You have your own ac/heating unit, so you can control the temperature. You do hear some footsteps from above, but wasn't an issue. The kitchen was well appointed, no dishwasher but everything else you could think of was there. There are even umbrellas for rainy days, and the washer/dryer combo in the unit was a great convenience. We felt completely safe and loved exploring Harlem and the rest of the city. Download a transit app (we used My Transit NYC) so you can easily see how to get where you want to go, and purchase an unlimited metrocard for the length of your stay. Uber was also quick and easy. We couldn't have been happier with this property and highly recommend it.

Great place in Harlem

We felt very welcomed to this lovely apartment. Easy walk from the 125th Street train station. Everything was as advertised. Enough space for my kids and I. A hotel room for 4 days would have been too small so this was a great option. I appreciated that they provided lots of info about how the TV and appliances worked and also about the neighbourhood. Thanks.

A home away from home

This holiday rental is truly a home. Myself and my partner stayed for five nights and it was such a relaxing, quiet and comfortable place to come back to after exploring NYC every day. Their street and property front is beautiful; authentic NYC. And the home itself is spacious and decked with everything you could need for staying away from home. We were able to do a load of washing (after already being overseas for a week), sleep in a super comfy bed and enjoy Netflix in our down time. We didn’t take advantage of the kitchen but could tell everything we needed was there to be enjoyed. Lastly, the hosts are super welcoming but do not make their presence known which was really appreciated.

JEN AND KEN HAS AN AMAZING PLACE! THE APARTMENT HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEEED (DOWN TO A SAFETY PIN AND A FUNNEL)! WHEN ME AND MY FRIENDS ARRIVED IT WAS EASY TO ACCESS THE APARTMENT AND ONCE YOU WALK IN YOU FEEL AT HOME! THE DECOR SETS THE TONE AND ENERGY ONCE YOU ARRIVE. THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE AND THE PULLOUT SOFA BED WAS AMAZING AS WELL! IN THE BATHROOM THERE IS A HEAT AIR DRY OPTION ONCE YOU GET OUT THE SHOWER! THE KITCHEN HAD EVERY THING YOU COULD ASK FOR! I KNOW WHEN I COME BACK TO NYC JEN AND KENS PLACE WILL BE A PLACE WHERE I STAY! ALSO I LOVE HOW THEIR PLACE IS ON THE 2 and 3 TRAIN WHICH TAKES YOU TO TIMES SQUARE AND BROOKLYN! Incredible Place

This was one of the greatest places we have stayed at. Amazing location if you love the Harlem experience which we do. Very quiet neighborhood, close to all subway trains, walking distance to some of the best food in NY. Jennifer was an outstanding host, great conversation and very down to earth. Plenty of space for 2. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Pretty, well-stocked, studio apartment on quiet street in Harlem

Our family of three really enjoyed our stay at Ken and Jennifer's garden apartment on E. 129th. It's beautifully decorated and has everything one needs—comfortable beds (including the sleeper sofa), good drawer and closet space, good lighting, good climate control, a dining table for 4, and a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. A lot of small touches make it even more special: travel books and brochures on NYC, wonderful coffee table books on Harlem and its history, very nice art, condiments & coffee in cabinets and fridge, and a welcome gift of a bottle of wine. Ken and Jennifer were away during our trip, but stayed in touch to be sure that we had all we need. Also it's an easy walk to 125th St subway and Whole Foods, with good restaurants along the way.
