Beat our expectations

The pictures don't do justice, as I believe the place was even better in person. We really enjoyed the stay, the hosts are really nice and the location is perfect. One is able to see the ocean from the room and kitchen and its just far enough from the main road that is really quiet. Loved it!

Best Carlsbad Beach Cottage

My wife stayed here for a week and loved every minute! Spotless, tasteful and comfortable. Great roof top deck with ocean view has ample seating and tables for groups. 3 doors from a great beach. 1 block to great restaurant and 4 blocks to Better Buzz Coffee and numerous other restaurants. Host were super helpful, nice and we only saw them once during our stay. We will be back!

Perfect in every way!!!

Large very organized space. Everything was better than expected. We took long walks down the beach. Sunset was beautiful. Close to coffee, shops and restaurants. Very private and quiet. Attention to detail was off the charts.

Carlsbad Pad

Convenient location, one half block from the beach and close to local restaurants. Newly remodeled, very clean with a great deck on top to have a morning coffee or night cap and watch the sunset. Hosts were wonderful. If you plan on cooking your own meals which we did not, there is a partial kitchen but no stove or oven, and a small fridge. Loved the location and it was perfect for our visit. We would definitely stay there again.

Our Favorite Vacation Rental in Carlsbad

This property exceeded our expectations even with all the 5 star reviews! The hosts went out of their way to ensure that all of our questions were answered and we had everything we needed. Highlights include the location, easy parking, private access, spacious roof top balcony with an ocean view, remodeled interior, and everything you would need for an amazing stay. We are already making plans to book this property again.

Location, location, location!

This awesome VRBO is less than a half block to the beach and a short walk to downtown Carlsbad’s restaurants and shops. Beautifully decorated, super quiet with an amazing deck where you can have meals, socialize and view the ocean. The king size bed is super comfy, the bathroom is wonderfully spacious and has a bidet!

Perfect suite in perfect location

This stays like an oversize hotel suite. The details are great from the tile and bidet in the bath to the bedroom linens. Everything was very well done and the owners clearly take pride in delivering a 5 star experience. Easy walk to village center.

Carlsbad Vacation

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this VRBO location. The place is immaculate. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was like staying at a resort. We had ocean views and the rooftop was incredible. We can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. We hope to be back soon!

Fantastic!

Wish we could give 10 stars! This property is fantastic! The hosts have designed and stocked the perfect retreat. Super clean and well-organized, the apartment has a spa-like bathroom, a selection of pillow types (!), a very comfortable bed and a private rooftop deck. Words really don’t convey how wonderful this property is. Quality all around. And as if the apartment itself wasn’t enough, it is located within a few steps of the beach and is easy walking distance to the Village. The hosts live next door, but are very respectful of privacy. Highly recommend!

Wonderful apartment in Carlsbad

This property is a great place for a quiet couple. Location is about a block to the beach and only a stroll to the village. The homeowners have done a fabulous job creating a comfy environment. The rooftop deck has great views. We loved it!

Carlsbad Anniversary Trip

My wife and I went to Carlsbad for our second anniversary. A quick shop-around on VRBO uncovered this property that had a flawless score, and now we know why. Everything associated with this place is great. The apartment, the location, the owners are all top-notch. I’d give it 6 out of 5 stars if they would let me.

Awesome unit

I wish there were more stars than 5. This property was spotless and location is a 10! The apartment was so well stocked with kitchen items, bath items and a very well thought out Apartment Guide with all the information you'd need furnished by the owners. Easy walk to beach (less than 2 minutes). You could lie in bed and hear the surf. The rooftop deck was very large with tables, umbrellas and comfortable padded chairs. You can walk to Carlsbad Village for eating and shopping. Would not need to use the car. Never a problem with parking because of the designated spot right in the driveway. The bathroom and shower is huge and the icing on the cake was the bidet! What a nice luxury. I will definitely return next summer. Thank you Brian and Jenny:)
