Un emplacement rare dans une rue résidentielle à quelques pas du sable et à une courte promenade à tout le village a à offrir. Un endroit accueillant pour les enfants avec une cour privée sur un seul niveau. Jouets de plage inclus. Internet haute vitesse inclus et paquet par cùble. John, Thank you for offering such a wonderful vacation home.The booking process was seamless.Your property is pristine and provides every possible amenity.The two patios were very nice with privacy throughout.We absolutely love the location. We were so near the ocean that we could hear the waves and of course enjoy the beautiful west coast sunsets at the beach or along the boardwalk nearby.Directly across the street is a lovely park to stroll and read through some of Carlsbad’s history as well as walk through it to downtown.This is by far the best property we have ever rented.We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning. We had an amazing stay in this beautiful house! It looks like a Pottery Barn catalog in an ideal spot to get to the beach & Carlsbad Village. Every detail was perfection! It was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, there were beach chairs, beach towels and extra towels. And then the little things like night lights, tower fans, chip clips and privacy bushes outside. We want to move in. :) Thank you!

Family Vacation

We stayed here for almost a week with our family of 5. We absolutely loved it! It was the perfect home set up for us. The best part is the location, such an easy walk to the beach and restaurants when towing three young kids. Our kids have already asked to book another week for next summer.

Our Second Home

This is our second time staying at this property and it will not be our last!!!! We refer to it as our second home. Location is amazing to beach and Carlsbad Village. Property Manager is wonderful answer our texts in timely fashion. It is just Ideal!!!!!

Great location!

Walk to beach, walk to town. House exceeded expectations. We wanted for nothing. Not a single complaint. House is on a quiet street with multiple sitting areas inside and out. Host thought of everything. We will definitely be back!

Cozy and Convenient

We absolutely loved this comfortable beach house. The owners have gone above and beyond with the extras. The little things like the Ziplock bags, plastic wrap, sugars, creamers, etc. did not go unnoticed. It was a five minute walk to the village and minutes to the beach. The owner replied to my message within minutes when I had questions. I would give this rental 6 stars!!!!

Great place

Great place, very clean, and has everything. Modern updated kitchen with Kitchenaid appliances. Location is great, a few minutes walk to the beach. But a busy and noisy neighborhood, we had construction noises every day from next door renovations. Not controllable by the owner but still was an annoyance. King bed was worn with deep indentations. Other than that, great place, very well looked after. Loved the warm outdoor shower. Owner responds quickly to any inquiries.

Even better the second time

This was our second time staying at this home and it’s been the perfect spot for our family. There were some really nice renovations to the home that made it even better, especially the new kitchen and central air. I had to ask John a question during our stay and he got right back to me. Other reviewers have mentioned issues with homeless at the park across the street but I only saw one or two people during the week who kept to themselves. It wasn’t an issue for us. We’d happily come back a third time

My happy place

This is the third time my family has stayed at this property and we look forward to it every year. It’s the perfect location. Walking distance to beach entrance and the village shops and restaurants. It’s a game changer to never have to worry about finding a parking spot near the beach, finding a restroom or lugging your beach gear around. The outdoor shower is a must for rinsing off sandy kids. We also enjoyed being able to walk to dinner and ice cream in the evening. Highly recommended for families!

My family enjoyed our relaxing stay. We could walk to the beach in 5 minutes and out for meals in 8 minutes. We could hear the ocean waves on the back deck every morning. The beds were comfortable ,the furniture was cozy and we had everything we needed to have another great vacation.

Fantastic Stay

We stayed a month on at this property!! Host was amazing easy to communicate with very welcoming when we arrived on the property. Location to the ocean and all of village of Carlsbad could not ask for better. We walked everywhere. We went an entire week with out using our car. We will be renting again for longer in the upcoming months. It looks small but it very spacious. Plenty of outdoor living space. We loved the front fire pit.

Great spot and place

Would definitely recommend this place. It was clean and in a prime location to the beach and Carlsbad village. The beach wasn’t even a 5 minute walk and Carlsbad village had plenty of restaurants and shopping to visit within walking distance d. Really liked that this place has an enclosed yard for my kids. I would really recommend this place and would stay here again.

Amazing home and location

John was a fantastic host and this home could not have been in a better spot. It was just what we needed to walk to the beach and into town. Other than a trip to the zoo we hardly needed our car all week. The home is spacious and had everything we needed. John was quick to answer any questions I had. I was extra impressed by all the beach gear he had available in the garage. We would definitely stay here again.

Beach house

This was a beautiful house and perfect for our family of 5. I loved the security of the fence/gate covering the perimeter of the property. It allowed my kids to play all around the house. I didn’t like the park across the street having so many homeless people day and night. That however is not John’s fault and his property is landscaped with plants and trees to seclude you.

Lisa and I have lived in Carlsbad for 10 years. We enjoy being close to the village and beach. It's nice to park your car and be free to walk and ride bikes anywhere you need to go. You may see us cruising the coast in our 49 Ford, beach combing or surfing along the Carlsbad coast.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Location location location. Finding a place west of the coast highway is rare. Nicely suited for kids (and adults) who can walk to the beach without crossing any busy roads.

Outdoor kitchen ideal for entertaining. Gas fire pit for to cozy up to at night. Outdoor shower with hot water.
