We had an awesome few days in the bungalow. We just loved being close to everything (South Congress breakfast tacos, Ladybird Lake - shout out to Mellow Johnny's bike rental, Mount Bonnell, and so much more) while also being tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Middle school and high school nearby with great tracks, HEB was a 5-minute neighborhood walk. It was full of homestyle comforts and vacation excitement!
We really enjoyed our weekend stay in Austin! This rental was clean and quiet. The host was lovely and supportive as well as easy to contact. Would definitely recommend!
We loved our stay at the Deep Eddy Bungalow. Everything about the property was perfect for our time in Austin to celebrate our son's graduation from UT. We can not wait to return!
Wonderful, clean, home in tree lined neighborhood. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Host is very timely with responding to questions.
Overall a great stay!
This house is VERY convenient to all parts of Austin in a lovely safe neighborhood. Property is very clean, comfortable beds, nice kitchen and baths, and the property manager was extremely helpful and accommodating Excellent experience highly recommend for a stay in Austin!
I spent a week in Austin visiting friends and family. This house was the perfect home base. Everything was so clean, updated and lovely. Easy access from this location to many different points in the city. Good walking neighborhood, too. It was a great stay!
Our family had a great visit to Austin to visit our daughter. Five of us stayed at this quaint bungalow with its ideal location. We were only a short drive from most of the activities we wanted to do.The house was exceptionally clean and check-in was a breeze. Communication with Kristi was always timely.
Next time we visit my daughter we will definitely stay here again.
We had such a wonderful stay at this truly private sanctuary. Located in a nice area about 2.5 miles from downtown Austin and 25 minutes from the airport. The house is fully renovated with all the comforts of home. Kristi communicated regularly - through VRBO emails and text messages. We would definitely stay here again if our travels takes us back to Austin. One suggestion: pull on the doorknob slightly when locking the unit :)
Stayed here with my family: my parents, husband, and 1 year old son. The sleeping arrangements were perfect and had ample room for everyone and beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the morning. Had a few events downtown and this location is perfect - itâs close enough that the drive/Uber is easy, but is also quiet since itâs tucked away from the craziness of downtown. The host was great at communicating with us and making sure we were comfortable - there was even a bottle of wine waiting for us! Had a little bit of work to do one morning and noted there is no desk or table, but was easily able to work at the kitchen island/bar that is basically the size of a table. Thanks again and hope to stay on another Austin trip!
Great location!! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath house was perfect for our group going to ACL. The home is very recently remodeled and everything is new. It had all the amenities you would need for a short, or even longer term visit. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was spacious with all new appliances. The front and back yards are nicely groomed with nice landscaping. Nice, friendly, and quiet neighborhood. We rode our bikes back and forth to Zilker Park for the festival. It took 5 minutes to get there! You could even walk there if you wanted. Lots of restaurants close by as well.
Our group was 5 adults and one toddler. The bungalow looked perfect in the photos and was even better in person. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Having two well appointed bathrooms was wonderful. The kitchen looked very small in the pictures but was actually a good size and had everything we needed. We were worried about where we would all sit to eat since it was hard to tell in the pictures the size of the bar between the kitchen and living room, but it was wide enough for 5 adults to comfortably eat. There are 6 bar stools. We enjoyed the backyard picnic table also. The back yard is fenced which was perfect for our toddler.
We walked to the H.E.B several times for groceries and prepared meals. There were several restaurants within walking distance as well as bike and walking trails. While a long walk, it is possible to walk to downtown Austin.
The bungalow was a comfortable, lovely home base for our exploration of Austin and our solar eclipse experience.
This house was clean and suited our needs (four women getting together). There was a kitchen and living room, plus the three bedrooms. It was on the small side, but it worked for us.
