Very quiet and friendly neighborhood. Even had a night of chatting with neighbors on the corner with a dog gathering. Oscar was responsive to help check in when original code didnât work. If you like to cook, I suggest bringing your own spices, plates and utensils.
The place and location were great. We didn't consider parking properly ahead of time so had to figure it out for the first night, but after messaging Oscar quickly dropped off the pass that allowed us to park in the street. It's a reasonable walk down the hill to stores, and you can see the Hollywood sign from the living room! Great place, thanks for a fun experience
Lovely, historic duplex with great views of the Hollywood hills and downtown LA. Walking distance to the Hollywood sights and a short Metro ride from Universal. Great home base for exploring. The host was very responsive and we enjoyed our stay.
We absolutely loved this property. The location was perfect, quiet and safe. Yet, close to Hollywood Blvd and the walk of fame. Close enough but far enough to feel peaceful. The unit felt like home. Perfect for a couple. My only warning for this property is the stairs. Great for the legs, but if you have any mobility issues or heart issues think it through. We rented out the carport, which I highly recommend, as it is on a one- way, uphill street with no parking. Will rent again if the opportunity arises. Thanks Oscar for being a great host.
Pluses: Clean, lovely view, spacious, complete amenities.
Minuses: Must be in decent shape to climb stairs (pack lightly). Room for one car parking only.
Only shower is located in an on-suite, so, limited privacy
I was going to dead and company for three nights and this house was a easy ten minute walk to the bowl. If you are from out of town and want to avoid the ridiculous traffic, stay here. Great views, close to hollywood and vine. Same price as small hotel room in neighbhood. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Overall great experience, house was very clean. Good views, very spacious. Wish there would have been more than 4 rolls of toilet paper and more hand towels and wash clothes. We had 3 people so there wasnât enough. Also the neighbors were very loud so had trouble sleeping one of nights. Blankets were also in pretty rough condition but they worked well enough.
Very acĂłrate ousting, a beautiful, spacious and conveniently located place. I wish I have had the time to stay longer. Beautiful views from living room of the Hollywood sign and downtown LA. A really great stay.
We really enjoyed staying at this lovely property in the hills. Amazing location and views. The house felt open and spacious. We loved all of the windows.
We loved this little house. Gorgeous views, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to food and shopping (both touristy stuff and grocery/necessities). Would stay here again!
Property was very dirty. Animal hairs everywhere. Animal and people hair in the beds, carpets, showers, floors. The dirtiest place I have ever stayed. Got there and owner was parked in our parking. There are a million stairs to get to property and the property is listed as a house, it is more of a townhome. Also, two stories. Got there and was given the wrong code to enter the property in my check in email. Would not recommend staying here. Especially during a pandemic. Since I had no where else to go I bought plenty of Lysol and laundry detergent so hopefully itâs cleaned up and the beds are washed this time for the next person. There were tons of spiders and other insects in the property also.
We loved Oscar's place. It's on a quiet street, but just minutes from the bustle of Hollywood. A great base for exploring either the west or east sides of LA. Great views.
Loved the property and had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, Oscar claimed we broke the TV when there was absolutely no way we did that.. thankfully we purchased damage protection.
