Spring has sprung, and it's a perfect time to visit Tinseltown!
Our historic bungalow community just turned 100 years old and we are still going strong.

The bungalow property is in such an amazing spot and well kept. It is a lovely neighborhood and communication with the owner was perfect. I would definitely book this again.
The host left us a bag of welcome goodies which was very much appreciated. We were also able to arrive early after a long flight. This gorgeous eclectic property was great for its location. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.
A historic and comfortable home with everything we needed for our stay in Hollywood. Check in instructions were clear and we enjoyed that we could walk to many locations in Hollywood. Thanks Mary!
This home was absolutely perfect for our stay in LA. We came in for a wedding and had 4 kids with us (12, 9, 2, and 2 months), and I can't express enough how much we appreciated having such a cute, peaceful home base during our stay. The neighbors were so very kind, the community itself peaceful and relaxing, and the home lovely and full of everything we needed.
We'll be visiting LA more in the future and hope this home will stay available for our visits!
You will not regret choosing this bungalow for your stay â€ïž
As the description points out, overnight parking takes a little planning, but it all works out. The bungalow was just as promised. Clean and nicely appointed (I loved that it had a "junk drawer" just like home). Many venues were an easy walk. Hope we can stay there again.
Very cute and lovely little bungalow! Itâs also super convenient location in Hollywood for tourists. The place is next to a busy street with only limited hours for street parking options but can ask for a permit from the host. The bungalow is located a few houses in, which insulates it from the street noise. The neighborhood is also decent and we felt right at home. Mary was also super responsive and helpful and her instructions were easy to follow.
Lovely place to stay. The bungalow was a charming and quaint. The house had everything that we needed. The location was great. We walked to the walk of fame and to paramount studios. It is a short drive from Universal. Found lots of good places to eat nearby. Communication was clear from the host. We had no issues checking in or finding it.
This was a great location - walking distance to the Pantages Theater, Musso and Franks (!) Trader Joe's, 15 minutes to Universal City - 10 minutes to the heart of West Hollywood as well as Runyon Canyon! Loved the convenience and my work life did not suffer thanks to the STRONG internet!
LOVED the 1920s tiny home experience. Saw a show at the Fonda theatre, Dinner at Musso & Franks, Amoeba music is a great place. Homeless problem is not nearly as bad as SF or Portland. Slept with windows open and it was quiet. When we arrived the Alarm at the nearby school was going off for hours. Mary contacted the Authorities and got it shut off for us. Really helped the vibe Thanks!
One of my favorite stays of all time. Stay here before I talk the host into selling the place to me. She was exceptionally accommodating of my timing and rapidly responsive. The place is a quaint little cottage right in the heart of Hollywood that's one of the last holdouts to the bulldozers and cookie-cutter high rises. The house faces a huge community flower garden inhabited by a few kitties that will let you pet them if you're a cat person won't bother you if you're not. The house is full of natural light and wood with a great nostalgic cinema theme.
This was a cute little bungalow in a great location.
Iâd not recommend staying as a family of 5 as itâs a bit small for that and the beds in the lounge room arenât the most comfortable. I loved the gorgeous gardens along the path as you walk up to the bungalow!
Unfortunately we had our car towed whilst staying here as the street was having a parade the day after we arrived. We had bought the car parking permit and we were told by the owner that we could park there. So it has cost us a lot of money to stay at this property. We are still seeking reimbursement but not getting any response from the owner. Which is a shame as the owner was very responsive and easy to deal with up until this point. If it hadnât been for these issues Iâd recommend for a couple to stay at this location.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming little bungalow in Hollywood, CA, during my visit to Universal Studios, and I can't recommend it enough! This cozy retreat provided everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay.
Location, Location, Location!
One of the standout features of this bungalow is its fantastic location. Being so close to Universal Studios was incredibly convenient, allowing us to make the most of our visit without spending much time commuting. Additionally, the property is within walking distance of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, making it easy to immerse ourselves in the iconic Hollywood experience.
A Step Back in Time
From the moment I stepped onto the property, I felt like I had traveled back in time. The nostalgic charm of the bungalow, combined with its quaint and cozy ambiance, made it a truly unique place to stay. The beautiful garden walk leading up to the bungalow was a delightful bonus, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting that enhanced the overall experience.
Exceptional Service, A Hidden Treasure
The bungalow was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is the perfect quiet getaway at a reasonable cost. The sense of tranquility and the feeling of stepping into a different era made our stay truly special. It's a hidden treasure in a bustling city, offering a serene escape while still being close to all the action.
We stayed one night at the bungalow and it was awesome! Perfectly themed for our trip to celebrate the life of Jimmy Buffet. The garden out front is filled with the most wonderful flowers that attract the biggest butterflies we have seen. We felt like we were taken back to a time of Hollywood stars and warm spring nights. Mary was quick to respond and she was so sweet to communicate with. If youâre thinking about this location, DO IT! You will be happy you did!
