Host was incredibly accommodating, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. The place was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family (and pets!). We’d definitely recommend it and would happily stay again when we’re back in the area.

Spring break visit to family in LA

My family of four stayed here while visiting family who live in Los Angeles. Location was great and very easy to get around. House was perfect for our needs and outside space was a lovely novelty for the kids. We had everything we needed and felt very comfortable.

Overall, our stay met our basic needs, but there were several things worth noting for future guests.The biggest positives were the location and the cleanliness of the home. It was in a convenient spot and the space itself appeared well maintained when we arrived. For the most part, the home was also comfortable enough for a short stay.However, the property didn’t seem well equipped for a family of four. There weren’t even four matching place settings available—some dishes were chipped or broken, and the silverware was largely plastic just to make up enough pieces for four people. The sink faucets were also very dirty when we arrived, which was surprising given how clean the rest of the home seemed.The beds and pillows were unfortunately very uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Another important detail that we felt should have been disclosed in the listing is that one of the bathrooms is located outside. We didn’t realize this until the second day of our stay.The house is also very loud acoustically—you can hear almost every noise throughout the space, especially from the bathroom, which may be something to consider for families or groups.Overall, the home worked for what we needed during this trip, but given the issues above, we likely wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Nicely appointed cottage home in a good location

The location was perfect for the 3 of us visiting family in La Crescenta and close to groceries and restaurants. The house is on the edge of a residential neighborhood with ample parking for 2 cars which was appreciated. It was quiet at night even though near one busy street. Dog walking in the neighborhood was perfect with lots of route choices past nice homes and condos and apartments. It was VERY clean and showing pretty normal wear and tear. Beds are comfortable. The HVAC worked fine and the Roku TV is helpful. The kitchen is a good size, but not stocked for any serious cooking and not appointed for more than 4 people. It was perfectly fine for breakfast and lunch for 3 or 4, though. The en-suite bath was nice and very functional and the half bath outside is very helpful if more than 2 are staying. It might be a bit challenging, especially for an older person at night. Laundry is available for longer stays.

A Cozy and Well-Equipped Stay in a Great Location!

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming little house! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The house was not only cozy but also impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. The location was fantastic—situated in a great area that felt safe and convenient, with easy access to everything I needed.One of the standout features was the dedicated driveway, which made parking effortless. It’s a small detail, but having a guaranteed spot right by the house was a huge plus, especially for unloading luggage and coming and going without any hassle.Inside, the house was thoughtfully stocked with everything necessary for a stress-free stay. The kitchen had all the essentials to prepare meals, making it easy to cook and dine in when I wanted to. There were plenty of towels, blankets, and other necessities, ensuring I was comfortable throughout my visit. It’s clear that the host has put a lot of care into making this space welcoming and accommodating for guests.Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I truly appreciated the warmth and convenience of this home. It exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time I’m in the area!

We had a pleasant stay at the property, however the price is too high for the property. The pictures are accurate, but don't show details that made the overall price/value ratio just OK. The kitchen needs better supplies (for example only 4 plates and 4 forks, and no dishwasher, so every day you are washing dishes). The blinds need to be maintained, as several slats were missing or broken on several windows. This was particularly bad in the bedroom, where bright sunlight poured in in the morning. The table is water damaged on the surface, yet no coasters could be found. Also the dining room chairs are quite uncomfortable to sit in for a long time. There is only one interior bathroom, that is accessed through the bedroom. The other half bathroom is literally outside. The floors appeared to be mostly clean, but your feet would say otherwise after walking around for a few hours. Good points are the AC worked well, TV was nice, and location was good. It's relatively quiet and close to shopping. Overall certainly a decent place, but overpriced for what you get. The little details -DO- matter.

We had a wonderful stay at this unique and thoughtfully designed space. The location is excellent—close to amazing local restaurants and spots, making it easy to explore.The private driveway was a huge plus given the limited street parking. The hosts were communicative and responsive throughout our visit, which made everything seamless.We especially appreciated the additional outdoor bathroom—beautifully done and very convenient for two groups staying together. The patio and outdoor space were perfect for relaxing after busy days.It truly felt like a home away from home, and we would absolutely recommend it.
