Cet espace est un délicieux mélange de beauté, de confort et d’emplacement. Nous gardons une maison impeccable, confortable parfaitement niché près du meilleur que Austin a à offrir.

L'appartement est un 1b / 1b avec porche extérieur, un beau jardin et un lit confortable (1 lit queen et 1 petit jumeau).

On peut se rendre à pied à de nombreux restaurants (Cipollina, Galaxy Cafe, Josephine House, Jeffery's), au Cafe Medici (le paradis des amateurs de café), à la pharmacie de Nau, ainsi qu'aux parcs et piscines de quartier. Également à proximité de 6th Street (pour les bars à vin), 2nd Street (pour les acheteurs), Warehouse District (pour les food-o-philes), Whole Foods (leur magasin phare) et notre bien-aimé BookPeople (pour les rats de bibliothèque).

Pas de cuisine (seulement petit réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, cafetière Nespresso, presse française et plaque chauffante).

Pas pour les invités qui veulent faire la fête. Pas de fête ou de bruit excessif; Pas de bruit après 21h en semaine et 22h le week-end (quartier résidentiel). S'il vous plaît soyez conscient qu'il y a un appartement en dessous de vous et que des sons forts peuvent facilement déranger les invités en bas et / ou les voisins. Merci pour votre considération.

Early check-in: En règle générale, départ des clients avant 11h, puis plusieurs heures pour scintiller et nettoyer l'appartement. Vous pouvez vous enregistrer tôt après 11h30, à condition que vous sachiez que l'espace ne sera probablement pas encore propre.

Départ tardif: Si aucun client ne se présente le jour de votre départ, vous pouvez effectuer un départ tardif. Sinon, nous devrons nettoyer l'espace vers 11h pour être prêt pour le prochain invité.

Parking: Malheureusement, il n'y a pas d'espace de stationnement dédié. Le seul parking est dans la rue (gratuit), mais généralement il y a beaucoup d'espace et cela n'a pas posé de problème. Si vous avez des problèmes, faites le nous savoir.

Bien que nous vous recommandons de louer une voiture, voici d'autres moyens de vous déplacer:
• Lyft, Uber et Taxis.
• Austin B-cycle (partage de vélo).
• Car2go (adhésion requise).
• CapMetro (les transports en commun d’Austin ne sont pas très bons).

Just the right size

The property was lovingly maintained with a comfortable outdoor area for each unit. I would suggest adding a Keurig coffee maker to the amenities. Not everyone knows how to use a French press!

Awesome in Austin

This is a very cozy, homey, lovely spot to land. Really lovely neighborhood in a historic district with very cool homes. Good home-base to work from, and the little terrace/patio right outside was a great place to chill and get some fresh air. Very comfortable bed, powerful shower, and helpful contact from the owners.

ACL Weekend Stay

This spot was all we needed for a weekend in Austin. Scooters make it easy to get around so location ended up working out fine! Comfortable, clean and no frills- perfect for a long weekend!

Kinda creepy, definitely not clean or comfortable

It was all ok ish, if it had been cheaper I would write a slightly kinder review but for what we paid it should have been a nicer accommodation. After a week in the Austin area, multiple stays, and Lots of restaurants/bars, this is my only non 5 star review so please don’t think I’m “that guy”. The listing notes that the property is “immaculately” clean and has a very comfortable queen bed…. No and no… The biggest issue is this is a basement, it smells musty, and moldy. To cover that up the cleaning staff is using horribly strong sent oil that made my wife have an allergic reaction. They also used such harsh cleaning chemicals that you could smell the sting of over spray. And after all that, it wasn’t clean let alone immaculate… The bathroom had mold/mildew, the floors are dirty… nah. The bed is horribly uncomfortable and squeaky, the pillows are also very uncomfortable. The shower is to small to turn around in and has no light, moldy and mildewed. There is no normal coffee maker (French press and espresso machine are both disappointing) - which is noted in the listing but still, man it’s over $200 a night, put a Mr. coffee maker in the place… Lastly, importantly and not at all mentioned in the listing, is that there is a stairway with just a glass door leading directly into this apartment connecting it to the main house. It’s not private, it’s not cozy, it’s actually super creepy - I always specifically look to make sure the places I rent are not set up this way when traveling with my family - if this had been noted I wouldn’t have booked it. I will say the porch area is very cute, but not private at all. The neighborhood is also very nice. For the money, it was poorly done, dirty, uncomfortable and kinda creepy. There is no way I’d stay here again. I hope management/owner uses this info to improve the property and provide a better value/experience for future short term tenants.

Great stay!

This was the perfect property and stay. Austin was great and this property provided us everything we were looking for. Quiet, great location, and no problem with parking on the street. We plan to stay here again on our next visit.

Great location

Chet and Sunni’s place was great. Centrally located within the awesome Castle Hill neighborhood, but we never had an issue with the on-street parking. We have stayed at a lot of rental properties, but this was our first time staying at a unit attached to the owner’s property. It was not an issue - we saw them once in passing but they kept to themselves and check-in was contactless! Their place was well-stocked, and we appreciated having a washer/dryer and a comfy bed! Highly recommended

Excellent place!

There are no surprises here! You get exactly what is listed and then some.. I have stayed in several Airbnb's and VRBO properties..I was so impressed with all the "extras" this owner provided..from masks and hand sanitizer to shaving cream, sunscreen and bug spray. The place was immaculately clean. Definitely recommend!!

Great location

Very nice place. This was basement apartment. Only sink was in bathroom. One window covering was missing so one could look right in on daybed from outside. There were board games, aFrench Press, and snacks. There was enough coffee for only one of two days, but snacks were a nice offering. There were a few long hairs from a head under the made bed. Overall, we were happy, and I’d stay there again.

We really enjoyed the outdoor area. The apartment was a little quirky - hot water heater in bathroom. But overall, it was very fun. Beautiful neighborhood. The apartment is a basement apartment with walkout to patio area. Very clean.

Great for young(ish) travelers

Everything was great, the host is very responsive, friendly and accommodating, we are absolutely happy with our stay. It IS easy to walk to some of the major attractions, but it's not "just next door", and we always preferred to uber it back to the house after dark. The neighborhood, however, is nice, quiet and beautiful.

Just Perfect

This little apartment was just perfect for me. I loved the location and didn't think it was "walkable"at first, as I took the bus from the airport and walked up the hill from 12th and Lamar with my luggage. Whew! Now that was hike up a hill. (Always remember that you are in Hill Country!!) However, the next day I walked to breakfast in the other direction and it was an easy enjoyable walk. The apartment had all of the amenities that I required. Well stocked for a small meal and lots of equipment for a great cup of coffee, or two. It was so quiet and had lovely views out the windows. The weather did not allow me to enjoy the little private patio. The furnishings are dated, but comfortable. I did not experience any unfortunate surprises from this listing. The pictures are telling-what you see is what you get. I usually stay closer to downtown on South Congress. This was a nice change. I would recommend this listing.

Nice weekend away

The place was great! Very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. I liked the tile floors and stucco walls. Two details that are not clear in the photos that might be difficult for some visitors: the path from the street to the property is steep and narrow, and the entrance to the bathroom is up two steep steps. The place is in a very nice neighborhood, and very comfortable. The one detail that is not cute is the water heater in the bathroom.
